IDM is software which increases download speed by way of as much as five times. Simple interface makes it simple and easy to use. It has a simple download logic accelerator that functions shrewd dynamic partitions and safe multipart downloading to accelerate. It is a handy tool with which you'll be capable of boosting the download speed.   It could be clean to use, and it's miles advanced below an intuitive interface an easy way to be used by experts and beginners.

IDM is the most famous and attractive download manager however it sometimes doesn't work correctly for example while we download a video clip or audio file, then IDM can’t find download hyperlink when you pause and resume. It will appear as “idm can't download the file due to timeout” or “timeout errors.” You use idm for the browser. It is set up with the app program with the aid of, so we don’t need any other extensions for chrome.

Sony VPCZ1 had unlocked the Advanced Menu & hacked the EFI Menu

My Sony VPCZ1200 has an Insyde Bios V3.5, I had unlocked the advanced menu with the method Here.
My BIOS version is R3031C3. The unlocked ROM named NEW.ROM.
But it still have some menu to be hidden, like EFI Boot menu.

I used Uefitool.exe to load the NEW.ROM and extract the SetupUtility module and saved as a FFS file. Then use
Universal IFR extractor.exe to decompile it to a TXT file. Open the TXT file you will find some hidden menus linke EFI Boot
were forward by the sentence SUPPRESS IF TRUE, the corresponding OP_Code were 0A 03 00 27 02,
it test something true and hidden the menu. Now if we changed it to SUPPRESS IF FALSE {0A 03 00 28 02},
when it test something true, the menu will not be hidden.

I use WinHex.exe to open the FFS file, then replace 0A 03 00 27 02 with 0A 03 00 28 02, it replace more then 70 times.
Saved the modified FFS file and use the Uefitool to replace the SetupUtility module with this FFS file.  The hacked ROM
was saved as NEW28.ROM. You can use Insyde H2OEZE-W.exe to change the version and modify the the default setup
Values. Finally I use Flash1t.exe to write the NEW28.ROM to my SONY. Power on and press F2 to enter BIOS,
firstly you need to get default values then enter other menus, otherwise it maybe halted. I had met one time.
Enter other menu you will find some new selection.

I choose  EFI boot and external device boot first. Then insert a UEFI bootable USB to test it but the system still enter HD disk C.
The normal WIN7 was start.

Now I am searching how to enter UEFI Boot. Someone says it need to add some EFI modules  to enter EFI Boot.
I will be very grateful if someone could give me some direction.

Asus P6T modding

I’m trying to get access functionality for an Intel Xeon W3690 on an LGA 1366 Asus P6T motherboard.

According to various forums the W3690 is supposed to be a server version of the Intel i7 990X (extreme) so theoretically it should work. However it doesn’t. After reading a bit more there is
only one version of a Xeon that works on the P6T. I consulted Asus about it and the agent I spoke to
stated that the W3690 would not work and was adamant that it is not the same as the I7 990X. In anycase my bios version was quite old (2009) so I updated it with additional support for the 990x cpu to the still old 2010 version. I’ll give the w3690 a whirl tomorrow to see if it works. Moving on, if that doesn’t work then I read in another forum that it might be possible to modify the bios to accept the cpu so I have come here to request clear and concise advise on how I would allow my Asus P6T to accept Xeon W3690 functionality.

Many thanks.

ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DU: Unlock CPU Virtualization & GPU selection AMI 2.20.0049 BIOS

Hi, I just bought a laptop (ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DU). This laptop runs on Ryzen 7 3750H with integrated graphics (VEGA 10) + Nvidia 1660TI. The BIOS is AMI 2.20.0049 but it lacks just about anything you'd expect from a BIOS. I upgraded to Win 10 pro because I want to use Virtual Machines and just found out Virtualization has been disabled in the firmware... Absolutely beats me why on earth this would be disabled  Angry

Also, the laptop has integrated graphics (VEGA 10) which uses 2 whopping GB from my RAM, and there's no way to change this or disable the IGPU in the BIOS. Dodgy

I would kindly like to ask for anyone who would be willing to enable these 2 options in the BIOS for me if possible. I'm comfortable with flashing ROMS but have 0 experience with modding a BIOS myself. I'll attach the latest version of the BIOS to the thread and hope one of you is willing to sort it out.

.zip   FX505DU BIOS 305.zip (Size: 10.4 MB / Downloads: 0)

I'd be ok to do it myself but I would really need step by step instructions for me to give that a bash as I don't want to risk frying my laptop Mobo  Big Grin

Thanks a million in advance!

Hello everyone! I have an asus tp550la. It have i3-4030U and intel HD4400. I have read alot about Laptop asus doesn't have whitelist for Wifi card? But I removed my wifi card and replace it with M-PCIE from my EGPU and my laptop doesn't detect my EGPU. But when i boot my laptop with my wifi card, and put my laptop into sleep mode. I replace my wifi card and wake up my laptop and plug  my M-PCIE from my EGPU into wifi slot. After that my laptop detect my EGPU. So i think my laptop have whitelist.

I wonder if someone can please check and remove the whitelist from my laptops BIOS?

My current card is Atheros AR9485wb-eg.
And i used RX570 for my EGPU.

Here is the link to my BIOS
https://www.asus.com/us/2-in-1-PCs/ASUS_...Desk_BIOS/ (choose Ix-4xxx)
And my current BIOS version is 211.

Thanks for your time Smile ! And sorry for my bad english.

Hi all,

In an attempt to revive my old AM2+ board (which has two burned out SATA ports) I obtained a PCIe adapter and a nice M.2 NVME drive. No way it's booting it, as there's no BIOS support for NVME. Could somebody modify this BIOS for me?

Unlocking Asus P6T bios

In respect to over-clocking i don't want to push the cpu too hard but i've read it can clock in 4.5Ghz relatively stable given the the effectiveness of the cooling system. I ran Aida64 yesterday and the temp range i was getting was between 40-60C after 30 mins or so. I'm going to give Prime95 a run but have read it taxes the cpu too hard. With my i7 950 the temps were getting to 100C after 5-10mins so i shut it down. I ran prime95 for 20 minutes (not too long) with temps remaining at 65C.

With the latest Bios update allowing me to run the W3690 i am unable however to edit AI tweaking options such as CPU-ratio which i was able to do before with the I7 950 on the previous bios (2009). I've heard its much better to run overclocking from the Bios as opposed to software from the OS. Any ideas on how to get that tweaking functionality back?

It's from Lenovo ThinkStation D30 (type 4223). I've got it being fully assured that it has SLI support but appeared it has only SLI certification for Quadro cards not GeForces Sad
Could anyone please take a look and add SLI cert to it ?
