[REQUEST] Acer V5-471 i53317U - Bios Update from v1.22 to v2.18

Hi

I need help how to update my BIOS from v1 to v2

when i start v2.18 exe in windows 7 it gives me an error message saying to update to the same type of BIOS (v1.x), i extracted the exe with 7zip copied to FAT32 formated USB, booted with POWER OFF, HOLD FN+ESC > POWER CABLE IN > +POWER BUTTON it boots from USB but i get same DOS error update to the same type of BIOS (v1.x)


please can some tell me how to force flash new BIOS v2.18 ?

Acer Aspire T630 - SATA3.0 and RAID function

Im upgrading this computer and i want to use PCIe Storage Sata3.0 adaptor to get at least 2.5Gbps but i only can get 115MBps on Patriot SSD. I try other PCIe sata3.0 Adaptor with 4X speed on 16X lane but the bios doesn´t detect any PCIe storage adaptor.

I notice the ULI M1573 chipset supports RAID0 function, i want to try RAID0 with 2X120GB SSDs to get 2.5Gbps speed but i can´t find the RAID funtion on bios.
Theres any way to mod bios to get RAID function or increase PCIe Speed to 2.5Gbps?

HP Compaq Elite 8100 Bios Modding Help

Hello,
Could i please have some help with bios modding on a hp compaq elite 8100. Im not sure where to start because 1) im new here 2) I have found nothing on google about the computer and bios mods.

The pc has a i3 530, 4x2gb 1333mhz samsung ram and a amd radeon 8490.

Acer V5-431 UEFI BIOS Upgrade

Hi everyone, I'm trying to upgrade my laptop to the newest BIOS version 2.18, it seems from what I've been reading that it's impossible to upgrade to a UEFI bios, but I don't lose anything if I ask here I assume haha. 
I'm currently running Windows 10 x64 and I was able to upgrade to 1.22 but I get an error if I try to update to the newest version
"Please update to the same type of BIOS (v1.x) ERROR 235 - OEM check failed from BIOS service!" Is there any way to bypass this error through a modded bios?

As the tiles says i wanna update the micro codes on my HP bios. The latest cpus they support are peniutms 4 with 1 CORE. [censored] that. Thus i ask, is there a way to install new microcodes onto these hp motherboards? I know abou the VRMs and voltage, but cant a bios just modify those values, such as in the ways of overclocking?

Hi, can anyone help me check for any hidden features/unlock the bios and possibly change the image. I have tried different all of the afus from amibios8 to aptioV but all of the 64bit say error 46 problem getting flash information and the 32bit ones refuse to start. The only thing that worked was Universal BIOS Backup toolkit which gave me a .rom file that says "Some BIOS strings exceeds the maximum length (0x400)" when opened with AMIBCP v4.55 and v4.53

it has a 4th gen i5 4570 and 16gb of 1600mhz ram. The motherboard is a Dell E93839 AM0327.

an extracted rom xps 8900

I have tried 4 times to get my computer to exract either a BIN file or a ROM file from the EXE file from Dell..., XPS8900-2.5.0.EXE...     i CAN'T GET THE COMPUTER TO RECOGNIZE THE COMMAND, /MAKEROMFILE OR /MAKBINFILE..    It keeps saying error... any help from you experts...?   I'm a very fresh newby..., and I need to save the MB with the soldered bios chip..     Any help..?

The laptop starts reading the USB, but just for a few seconds, then stops.

I guess I have to change the name of de fd file or something like this.
Has the USB Stick to be bootable also?
