acer E1-522 brocked after bios update

Hello, I'm a student in embedded system, but I'm again a beginer in the science of BIOS, so I need your help in this case.
I wanted update my BIOS but now I can just show "Default Boot Device Missing" when I boot my computer. I have show some tricks to reflash the BIOS but I don't want do worst things.
Someone can help me ?

Please help to identify BIOS chip on ASUS UX501vw

Hi,

My Laptop ASUS Zen pro UX501VW (N501VW_Rev2.0 motherboard) went dead couple of weeks back, so i gave it to ASUS service center, they mentioned to change the motherboard, which is very costly for me so i gave it to local repair shop, they make it to supply the power but in odd way, i mean as soon as, I  plug the charger the cooling Fan runs, Led on the power key, F2 Key and Caps Lock turns on by itself without pushing power button  but no display and CPU was getting was very hot. They also tried to update/Mod the BIOS but nothing worked.

somewhere i read that, in case of CPU heating you have to deassemble and reassemble the laptop that i did and after that CPU is not getting hot but all rest of the conditions are  the same(as mentioned above) except one of the the 8 pin "WINBOND Chip" (Chip-2) is getting very hot within in 5-10 sec. as soon as power is supplied.

I have few questiones below:

1. Does any one know what could be the issue?
2. I am suspecting this could be BIOS issue and trying to flash the BIOS through USB mini Programmer but before i do that, does any body know if there are 2 BIOS chip in this board or only one.
3. In the image/URL below of board which one is BIOS chip (Chip -1 or Chip 2) - Locar reapir shop guy said both are BIOS but, I don't see that as per their description from board shemantic.
4. And what is EE_Hold means on Chip-2 Description

Requesting custom bios with more options and ability to change nvidia optimus on/off and turn manufacturer's laptop battery health settings (locked brightness if not plugged in/battery saver mode, locked nvidia control panel physx settings and only showing 3D settings on nvidia control panel) off.

Hello, i tried to unlock everything in this bios, i tried many AMIBCP versions but any of this crashed while trying to save.

There are so many hidden options i would like to see in my bios menu and also be to modify them. Cuz some of the hidden feature are Ship as [censored] but enabled by default. If some one have time and interest to unlock it or wanna help me doing it myself feel free to do so.

Can anyone help me with my laptop Lenovo Thinkpad E430
I have new battery 12cell it work with my laptop but I can't charge it
It say not compatible battery.
My bios is 2.60 (H0ETA0WW) I updated from this website:

Editting Aspire 5570z Bios - Help

Hi,

I put aspire 5570 z motherboard into travelmate 2480, for perfect cosmetic view I want that bios to indicate that it is Travelmate 2480 and not aspire 5570z. I tried winplash advanced settings, in motherboard tabs, systems tabs I put Travelmate 2480 and it did nothing, motherboard bios of 5570z still shows that it is 5570z. 

AWD flash tool makes it simple but with awd bioses, it works great, how could I do the same with 5570z motherboard? There is OEM strings option, but I don't know where to edit so it will help.

Changing fsb or multipliers in Bios, aspire 3680, 5570z

Hi,

I am using T7200 in my aspire 3680, and before I got a good deal I had T7600. It works fine if I overclock it with setfsb to 2.3 GHz. 

I ordered T7600 g with unlocked multipliers to increase speed even more. Is it possible for you guys to integrate fsb switch or multipliers switch into bios of aspire 3680, 5570z? 

What is interesting also, this mother board is said to support 4 gb of ram but utilizes only 3 GB, is this bios issue or chip? I am using 64bit version of Windows.

Clevo m765s unlock request

Hi,

I have an old laptop, it is a clevo m765s. I'm trying to make an ssd work properly (it is recognised but not bootable) and I want to find out if there would be any hidden options in the bios that would help
I flashed the latest bios (back from 2010) from this link: ftp://ftp.clevo.com.tw/ALLBIOS/M7xxS/746S_BIOS22.zip
But it didn't help much, except that it added the AHCI option for windows 7.

The ftp link I posted sometimes work, sometimes it doesn't.

HP 255 G5 BIOS Rollback

Hey, people!

Can you help me, please?

I can't rollback to previous version of BIOS after update to the latest.
It seems that HP locked rollback ability, though f.33 isn't critical update version.

BIOS file name - 082F6.bin
BIOS Current - F.33 
BIOS Previous - F.24
BIOS versions tried - f22, f24, f30 and f32

Tried rollback through Win+B, with USB flash and F2->System Diagnostics->Firmware Management w/o success.
It says "Unable to read signature file."
Also used PhoenixTool 2.6.6., but it didn't show BIOS Recovery filenames. I even created SLIC BIOS file (ofc, he never worked for rollback due to validation error).

Please, help me someone!

p.s. Fan control is messed up after update to the latest BIOS on HP 255 G5 laptop.
Now it spins on high speed all the time, right after pushing Power On button, and so on. 
Fan noise is driving me crazy for few days already. But there is no overheating.
