I need this bios modded for Windows 7

HP Compaq
Business Desktop dc5000 and dx2000
System BIOS (786B0 BIOS)

Version requested: 1.43 Rev. A

I know this is old but its for a neighbor who is real old and can't afford a new PC so I overhauled it, maxed out the ram, put win7 in it, shut of all the unneeded services, etc and it actually runs smooth.
But the bios causes Dazs' windows loader to be detected and deleted for some reason so I cant leave win7 updates turned on.
I updated it to the max anyway then turned off updates, etc so it runs great but I would be happier if it had the slic to avoid any problems in the future for him.

I would like to know if I could have my modded bios unlocked as well?
I have an ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB that had the SLIC added to its bios but there are some odd things about this mobo that having it unlocked would be very helpful.
Can it be done?

Im also a noob to this, just got this laptop and wanted to unlock certain features, i mainly wanna unlock ( if it is able to) the area to increase the Dedicated video ram

I have an intel gm5457e motherboard i would like to replace the splash screen on. The current splash is the gateway thing. I have the bios and the picture i would like to use, all that i think is left is the hard work of getting the picture into the bios.

my bios version is f.26

i have dedicated graphics with support for up to two gigs of ram but all that shows up in games and canyourunit is 512mb so i would like to change the amount of allocated ram because i have eight gigs and i never use over six even in games and such but there aren't any avalable advanced options in the bios even when using the f10 and a key. please help and if im not understanding something correctly then please just let me know.

Hey I have a Lenovo G505 and I just want to be able to change the DRAM settings (timings, voltage, ect) through the BIOS, but Lenovo decided that customers shouldn't be able to mess with these settings. I've searched around, and I can't find anything else, so hopefully someone can help me.

so i got a lenovo g505s with the AMD A8-5550M 2.1G/3.1G 4M 4C A1 PGA APU
and i have a bad Wireless card in it iv found they are very cheap and it would cost less to buy a new one then send it in so im stuck with not knowing what to buy cause of this
white list so if anyone can help me find a pcie half mini card that will either work with this laptop even if it needs to be added to white list here is everything on Lenovos website about the laptop

I been toying with AMIBCP with Sabertooth 990FX R1 BIOS, there is an option to unlock it but when I changed the access of 'CPU Core Activation' to USER the options opened in the BIOS, but the individual core locking is still without effect, pictured below is the one



Am I missed anything? Can anyone shed some lights about this?

I would like to add a new WiFi card to my T430u laptop, the current one i have is Thinkpad WLAN 2x2. The Bluetooth on this card is to bad, it frequently disconnects my BT mouse. I would like to add Intel 6235 or Intel 7260. Please help.
The most current BIOS is version 2.08 H6ET90WW
My laptop type 3351-CTO

P.S. Once the white list is removed, how do i flash it into my laptop. when i try to flash it in a same BIOS, it keeps pop up dialog box says "BIOS image file is same as BIOS ROM"

P.S. I've modified the ROM file with PhoenixTool. Tried to flash it with original flasher (Phoenix UEFI Winflash) and got 'Failed to authenticate image'. Also tried to flash with later versions of Winflash (modified to disable the above fault message), but it freeze at step 'analyze image'. Also tried to flash with Phlash16 under DOS, but got message 'Platform Signature Not found in the Interface'.

hallo i have an acer aspire v3 571G with GT 730M 4GB.My probleme is that i am suffering from throttling with this GPU when playing somme games like BF3....... due to low set temperature throttling from acer.So i need an unlocked advanced bios to adjust this settings!!!! or another way to put it to higher temps without modding it!!! because the GPU is not work fine with alternate frequency caused by this throttling???!!!!!

Hey there,

I upgraded my Acer Travelmate 5730G today from P8400 to an P9700.

There are no Thermal issues (cause laptop was available wit T9600).
And it looks like the bios detected the right way.

BUT regarding to Core-Temp and CPU-Z the VID-range is not right. It overvolted the Cpu to 1,213 Volts, but only when it's on idle.
Under full load its okay.

Is there a chance to mod the Bios tho the VID-range supports this cpu?
If yes how? (sorry i am totally new to bios mods)
