Hello,
First i would like to thank all members, moderators and admins of this forum who share their exploit and help.

Here I need to unlock all functions on my bios can someone help me ?

because i have a problem with my bios especially to disable iSSD and i think that the only solution is to find out how to fix it inside the hidden features

Hi, could it be possible to unlock hidden options like fsb speed, and some others performance options in that bios please. Unlocking as many as possible all options would be great. Can we perform a cpu microcode update for the cpu already installed? Thanks Smile your team has already done a great job, if only i could do as much as you've done...

First of all.
Sorry for my bad english, i didnt know how to explain my self, so didnt kick me Smile

My Laptop: Acer Aspire 8930 and i updated my Bios to version 1.20 but two problems arent solved:

#1 My Bios didnt Support 8Gig Ram but it was possible (google) so i have to use 1x 2GB plus 1x 4GB also 6GB of all (Need help here)

#2 Some hidden options wont be useable so i want em Smile

LENOVO / IBM A57 BIOS Unlock Please

Hello there! Can anyone please help me with unlocking this BIOS? My motherboard is a G31T-LM v1.0. This motherboard has an unlocked FSB (only via SetFSB and not in the BIOS) and wish to overclock the CPU (Pentium 2.2GHz E2200 dual core) but the problem is the RAM (DDR2 800MHz SDRAM 2x 2GB) as this causes crashes when the FSB is increased. The CPU will therefore only overclock by about 100MHz. There is no facility to underclock the RAM or modify the CPU settings at all which is what I need to do so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Toshiba P50-A-127

Hello,

I have a new Toshiba P50-A-127, but there's one problem. I want to dual boot between osx and windows, so I replaced the ODD with an HDD Caddy. Now, the bios is still programmed that the SATA port is an ODD. In OS X, I can access the drive fine, but I'm unable to boot the HDD, because the bios requires it to be an ODD. Windows refuses to install, because the controller might be disabled. If I swap the HDD with an already installed version of Windows, it will boot on the hard drive SATA, but it won't in the caddy.

Note that the SSD is recognized perfectly, but the HDD in the caddy is still recognized as ODD.

I already have tried AMI BCP, but I only see the first tab instead of this:

I extracted the bios using Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0.

trouble enabling boot options of DVD and USB in 2.01.1204 v 203...

Hello,

I am new to this forum so I hope I am putting this question in the right subforum. If not excuse me.

I have an ASUS laptop G74SX which has run perfectly for nearly 2 years.

Recently I got the BOOTMGR missing message after a BSOD and I can't get into Windows7 any longer.

This PC has BIOS 2.01.1204 and I flashed it to the latest verion on ASUS support page version 203. ( I have no idea if a BIOS is generic to the market or if ASUS uses their own BIOSes in their machines?)

In any case my problem is that I want to use a bootable DVD or a bootable USB but the BIOS can't locate the DVD-players (it doesn't show up in the BIOS) nor do the USB flash drive but at least the Flash drive can be seen in the bootable options before you enter the BIOS.

In this BIOS there are very few settings you can change overall. I don't get why the DVD player (which works) can't be found by the BIOS or why the bootable USB-flash drive wont start when you pick it from the boot menu.

Does anyone know what settings I should use in the BIOS or what I should do to repair the BOOTMGR when the BIOS refuses to use both the DVD player and the USB drivers?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT:

Well. I finally managed to set the BIOS so that I coudl boot from the USB-stick and start the win7 installation. The only problem now is that I can't choose the system SSD HDD to intall win7 unto but only the secondary (and original) HDD where there is no earlier win7. The strange thing is that I can see both HDDs in the BIOS SATA set up. Maybe you BIOS gurus can help me explain why the BIOS can see both HDDs but the win7 installation program can only see the secondaty HDD (where I don't want to place win7 since all I want to do is repair the bootmgr.

How to update vBIOS for Clevo W110ER?

First, full credit and a big thanks to Prema for the superb work on the modded BIOS for the Clevo W110ER. I have one of the last production cycle of the W110ER and am experiencing graphics problems with the dGPU. By flashing back and forth between the stock and Prema Mod v3 (standard edition), I believe I've narrowed down the problem to be the vBIOS. With the stock BIOS (v80.07.58.00.A1), the dGPU performs without any problems, but with the v3 (v80.07.14.00.A6) the dGPU graphics problems can be consistently reproduced.

How does one perform a vBIOS update on the W110ER? Is it possible to extract the UEFI vBIOS information from the stock version to replace the older one on the v3? Does it involve updating the oROM (Link ID 10de,0fd1) alone, or in association with another firmware module? If so, can anyone help with the Vol/File Index, FileName or the GUID of the UEFI vBIOS module that needs to be updated?

Extremely grateful for any and all assistance on this matter.

All I'm really looking for is the advanced menu. My DDR3-1600 C9 is running at 1333 C9, despite the SPD showing 1600 C9 and 1333 C7 in its capabilities.

I've seen 1.13 modded, but the updater refuses to let you downgrade. So I'm stuck with 2.15.

Hi, I've an Asus P5Q-E motherboard (775) and I've just installed a Xeon processor E5450 (771) with this mod.
The system looks to work fine but I get a kind of error during Bios Boot.

The Bios says: To Unleash this CPU'S full power, please perform BIOS update process. Pres any key to continue (and makes a 10 seconds weary countdown).
I have my Bios updated to the last version. What I can do? Install windows x64 again?

Hey guys

I´m new at this forum and hope somebody could help me with my problem. I want to change the WiFi Card of my Lenovo Thinkpad Edge 15 0319 but how you all now Lenovo doesn´t like this ....
I allready found a Thread about this (http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-Th...Whitelist) but the link is down and the 2nd link I´m not sure if it will work (first time I remove whitelist and I don´t want to see my notebook in the tresh ^^) and it would be perfect if somebody here could help me (also with the newest bios version Angel ) but older Versions would be also ok for me Smile
