This old computer an error on "Error:0167 No processor bios update found" as i threw in a 3.06ghz pentium 4

Was looking to know could anyone modify the code on it to bypass error and make it more compatible.

The download is a direct link that will extract into C:/IBM tools/Folder

WiFi Whitelist Removal Lenovo Z580 - Please Help!

I have a Lenovo Z580 that has the Centrino Wireless-N220 wifi card in it. This card is 2.4ghz only, and I am surrounded by 5Ghz networks and the slow connection is KILLING ME! I am all lined up and ready to buy an Intel Ultra-6300 wifi card and use it - after I can secure a way to get rid of the whitelist in the system BIOS.

I have been able to find a thread about the Z570, but I want to be absolutely sure it is compatible with the Z580 before I try anything. After all they are two different systems. Any help you can offer would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you!

My Old Sony Vaio VGN-CR23_B bios start paused every time i start or restart my computer, and it give me a logo screen without any information and it can stay like this forever until i push any key and then it continue booting.

Sorry if i post this thread wrong place. I have upgraded the BIOS for my laptop is HP Envy 1015dx.
Unfortunally, this upgrading was unseccessfull and my laptop could not start and just have the black screen when start.

Lenovo Ideapad u310 Wifi Whitelist Removal

Hi, I have a Lenovo Ideapad U310, which in the BIOS identifies itself as a U410-Touch for whatever reason (idk if that's relevant). I have never modified or flashed the BIOS before. I want to install an Intel Centrino 6235 Advanced-N card.

PCI ID- I googled this, but I have no idea if this is correct or accurate, so I linked purchase page below.

I upgraded the screen from the original one to one with a higher res and I think the new display may be white-listed. I have looked into trying this myself but it seems way over my head. The original display was a 1024x600 AUO B101AW03 V.0 and I installed a 1280x720 AUO B101EW02 V.0.

The problem is I show a screen of 1024x600 in the upper right hand corner, then a large line, then the screen duplicates below it for the remaining space. Windows does the same thing, however, if I boot into Ubuntu the screen works fine. I don't understand what windows and the bios are doing differently and why as soon as linux boots the whole thing works perfect. Normally I would just use Ubuntu but this netbook was purchased to do vehicle pcm tuning and the software doesn't run properly on linux and its not worth bricking a pcm. Please somebody help!

Will donate if someone can make this work correctly for me.

Please let me know if there is anything else needed. I will try my best to get it.

EDIT: I just found my bios already has SLIC. Now I just need to learn to it.


I'd like to have this bios modded with SLIC 2.1(I think). It'll be used in an HP DV 6000 with Windows 7 64 bit. Sovem just bypassed the whitelist in this bios for me.

I was Hoping someone could add Frequency,Voltage, Frequency Multiplier, Dram Frequency, Ram Voltage , Fan Speed and other Settings Which could make Overclocking Possible.

Need help with (old) AMI BIOS

Hi,

I have a ASRock 870 Exteme3. It has a AMI BIOS (no EFI) but the boot splash is just ugly, so I decided that I want to change it. Now I googled for hours, hunted old tools and finally found some that worked. The Problem: They don't find the image. So I extracted all modules with MMTOOL (v3.12) and inspected every module by hand but the only images I found are for hibernation.

Does anyone remember how to change the splash screen?

I bought a new WLAN card for my laptop only to find out there is a whitelist..
New WiFi card: Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230

I know there are older BIOS versions with the whitelist removed, but I would like to be up-to-date.
