I'm having a lot of problems with my centrino N 2200 and would like to replace it. I am unfamiliar with Bios mods and would appreciate it if someone could explain where I get the Bios file to be modded, and a good way to back it up first.

Also, what adapter do people recommend? I am not gaming or sending huge files. Mainly concerned with reliability. The current one cuts in and out.

Are there other Mods I should do to the Z580, or am I just going to Brick it if I mess too much with it?

Well, I've just registered here, I've been looking for a bios for a long while, but couldn't find one, at all.
I've tried another bios from the same company, luckily it didn't brick my pc, so if I can find an unlocked bios for it I'd be so glad.

I know I'm better off buying a new motherboard, but I'll be moving to another country for university so I won't be taking my desktop with me.

Aspire Z5610 impossible BIOS Recovery !!

Hello, the first, excuse me for me english. I write this message to anyone can help me.
I have a Aspire Z5610 with the bios corrupted. I try BIOS Recovery from USB Storage, but not work !! I do:
Steps for BIOS Recovery from USB Storage:
Before doing this, prepare the Crisis USB key. The Crisis USB key could be made by executing the Crisis Disk
program in another system with Windows XP OS.
Follow the steps below:
1. Save ROM file (file name: JAL90x64.fd) to the root directory of USB storage.
2. Plug USB storage into USB port.
3. Press Fn + ESC button then plug in AC.
The Power button flashes once.
4. Press Power button to initiate system CRISIS mode.
When CRISIS is complete, the system auto restarts with a workable BIOS.
5. Update the latest version BIOS for this machine by regular BIOS flashing process.

When press Fn + ESC , not entry in bios recovery mode or not i don´t know the mistake ! i try with different combinationkeys ( FN + B, WIN + B), with different stick usb, with differents versions of Crisis Disk ... anyone knows I do wrong ????

Hey there.
Im looking for a new bios to flash for my laptop .
It's a acer aspire v3-571g actually using the 2.17 version of the uefi bios.
Thermal thrttling is setted to 74 degrees and this make the dedicated nvidia card useless and impossible to use.
I have been searching for 1 year to fix this problem, please help me i'm desperate.
I desperatly search for one with advanced menu, to edit this useless thermal limit, since those cards are designend to work at 80/85 degrees.I will donate 50$ to the one will fix my problem.

I Need HP Probook 4520s Full Bios File, HELP PLEASE!!

Hi friends, I have a customers "S_Intel M\B H9265-4 48.4GK06.041" motherboard notebook (Without any external gpu,only onboard cpu graphic) 4520s notebook come with no led no power and stand_by . Customer give the notebook another repairshop before bringing to me.Other shop could not find fault and messed up power and charge chontrol ic s and couple mosfet with using heat station . I am found the faulty part, RT8205 vref pins 0.22uf cap short and I change the cap and I check and fix other bad soldering parts.I am plug the dc cord but only white dc led blinks and no main dc in circuit.then I found KBC_EC not drive the mosfets.I suspect the bios ic because it also soldering couple times before.I read the bios but only in updates 68azz.bin written before by stupid other repairmen.I am found the net 3 bios file different sites but all identical (one site says 4520s with ati gpu).I write the bios then solder back.Notebook work but no screen coming ,only backlight comes and brightness control work.Bios F10and CTRL+ALT+DEL also work .External monitor not work.I need onboard graphic models full 4mb bios file.I am promise if you send file , ı use dmi tool and change my serial ,mac address ,etc.Sorry for my poor English, thanks. Confused

Hi~~everybody


I provided mod bios for H57H-AM2 V1.0.

Execute mod.bat to flash mod.bios.
Execute  a03.bat to recover original bios.
Please running bat file as administrator by right click.


I forgot a bat file "backup.bat",download it and  put it on the same folder.

It can backup your bios to a bk.rom file.
If you want to recover your original bios,you just to name it to original.rom and replace original.rom on the 32 folder and running a03.bat.

UPDATE: Donovan6000 has a newer version that works (advanced menus, NWL Wireless and bluetooth)!!

I have a modded sp55068 with menus unlocked. I am able to make changes to the settings in the bios and they persist without problems. I would like you to consider including No White List in this bios as i get a bluetooth ID (704) not supported (Intel 7620AC). I have a dv7-6193ca.

(i tried your sp55068_NWL_vHARD_ByCamiloml and sp55068_UlkMenus_ByCamiloml, but it gives error on my machine when i enter then exit bios, soft brick, not sure why).

it is on my OneDrive anyone just email me brian_f@live.ca and I'll send a link to the modded version. I tried to attach as a zip file.
