Hello Gentlemen,

I do not know if I'm posting in the right place, but takes a lot of help from you, because I do not know what to do with my notebook.

I bought a notebook in china, to be exact link to the following model: http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/290231573.html?orderId=60417867699091

But I want to do a clean installation of Windows 7 and my surprise, did not recognize at all any more mSATA (SSD).

My bios is a Phoenix SecoreTiano

NEED LENOVO IDEAPAD Z570 UNLOCKED BIOS, URGENT

Hi,

I'm glad I found this forum, Lenovo's support is everything but helpful and I have a bricked Lenovo Z570 machine that is not able to boot any Windows 7 retail disc or Ubuntu disc (to perform a recovery). My partition table is a mess right now (can not boot anything) and I can not reinstall either since every single disc I try (including Boot Repair) will not boot, crash or hang as with Windows 7 one that hangs at the "Starting Windows" screen.

My machine came with a certain BIOS version, l was able to install a retail Windows 7 Pro and dual Ubuntu 12.04 boot BUT then I had the TERRIBLE idea of updating my BIOS to 45CN38WW and now it seems it will not boot anything!!!

I'm looking for an old version of the BIOS for this computer or a modified (hopefully) one, I'm willing to contribute or pay for the help since my machine is complete useless right now.

[Request]FIX onboard Sata controller on crossflashed P6T SE

Hi.

I have crossflashed a P6T SE board into P6T, to get back the SLI support.

Problem is they have a different JMicron JMB36X onboard SATA/PATA controller and completely missing JMicron JMB322 controller, since P6T SE doesn't have the IDE/Floppy support.

What I want is to get back the eSATA/2 extended SATA ports support and disable and remove Floppy and wrong controller options in BIOS. Any other update for Intel drivers would be nice too, since I'm having some problems with RST.

I would be pretty grateful if someone can have a look at this and give me some advise.

I'd like to unlock some menus.

Basically, this laptop runs Windows 7 perfectly. Windows 8 and above it runs great except it will NOT recover after hibernation. Looking around online, this seems to be a problem with other laptops as well, but some of the fixes I am unable to do as they are not available on stock BIOS.

For example, someone was able to fix this problem by disabling Legacy USB Support. Others were able to fix it by messing around with the S1, S3, etc ACPI sleep settings.

I just want to give this a shot before I give up on 8.1 (and 10, which based on the tech previews so far, has the same exact problem) and just downgrade to 7.

Hello!

I´ve tried to modify the BIOS for my P3VB-VXL (Latest BIOS) with Modbin because in this BIOS the option for Legacy Sound, Sound Blaster Adress, IRQ and DMA are missing and flashed the BIOS but i´ll get a Checksum error.

Please can Someone help me to modify the BIOS or someone can explain the Problem?

Hello,

I have laptop Alienware. This laptop has Phoenix bios. I want to mount in this laptop SSD hard disk. In the bios there is no AHCI option.
On the laptop motherboard is controller Intel 82801GBM Controller Hub (ICH7M) - this controller in hardware support AHCI mode, link to the manufacturer's website:

I would like to in this laptop bios add AHCI Option ROM BIOS compatible with Intel 82801GBM Controller Hub (ICH7M). Question is which AHCI Option ROM BIOS is compatible with Intel 82801GBM Controller Hub (ICH7M):

I have a Lenovo Y40-70 with a dead wireless card (Intel ac-3160) so I purchased the Intel ac 7260 as an upgrade and have the obvious issue of it not being whitelisted. The bios version is 99CN28WW(V1.11) which says Insyde at the top. I wouldn't have made a thread but I see none with the Y40. I'm willing to do anything at this point.

Hello everyone , I need help regarding the BIOS that I have in my notebook DexBook Model DXI5M4H5-MB40 Core i5 2540M 2.6GHz Sandy Bridge , 6GB RAM 1333 Chipset: Intel HM65.A ID AND 000206A7 and MicroCode patch ID is 0000001B . I would instatalar 64-bit Windows 8.1 , however , the BIOS version this in my notebook only allows 32-bit version of the installation, because it has UEFI Secure Boot and . Bios product key

Hello,

I am having some problems with computers here at work.

Some PC's had issues with the motherboards.
These have to be swapped.
Now the vendor we buy them from tells us that we have to ship the entire PC. So they can remove the Windows 8 Product key from the bios. And implement it in the new motherboard.

Obviously we don't want to take the computer from a customer who just bought it, we need a quick fix.

I hope someone can help me out and teach me if there are methods to remove/modify/inject these keys into the Bios.
Manual or by a created tool.

I really hope to hear from you.

Hi

I have a Sony VAIO VPCEJ2J1E with this BOIS and I recently upgraded it's CPU from Pentium B960 to i5-2430m, the laptop has an NVIDIA GPU, but it has dual display disabled from the BIOS, in other words, I cannot use Intel's integrated graphics, only Nvidia GPU, as windows cant see the integrated graphics, and I really need it, as I use Blender and want to dedicate the Nvidia GPU. Because when I use this GPU for rendering while it's the main computer graphics, it completely kills it's already dull performance, and also, I heard that Sony underclocked this GPU from the BIOS for some reason.
So please guys, would anybody be humble Rolleyes and help me out with this, as I really need this feature and I don't have the required skills to mod the bios myself Confused , I will be very thankful to whom fulfills my dream "kidding"
