Hi! Need unlock bios for HP ProDesk 400 G3 MT MS-7957 motherboard. Need delete checks cable connections front audio panel (error 100), front USB connection (error 41A), chassis fan connection (error 901), and maybe keyboard connection. Bios ver. N03 02.47. May you help me?

Lenovo Thinkpad 10 Tablet UEFI32 Limitation

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad 10 tablet with only UEFI32 bios. The CPU(Z3795) supports 64bit instructions but it's stuck in 32 bit UEFI. The tablet even has 4 GB of RAM but only 3 GB are usable because of this limitation. Is anything I can do to unlock UEFI64 mode?

Ok so in my quest to have the intelRcSetup as a visible option for my dell t5810 which has an ami bios I am considering swapping the contents in the setupprep module with the contents of the platform module leaving the header and footers alone. Setupprep calls for the main form which is the only visible thing in my bios right now. The rest of what's in setupprep being advanced,chipset ect really serves no purpose on unlocking as there isn't anything I need to adjust there. The platform module contains the intelRcSetup form which has everything I want and includes everything from main except date and time. Now I predict I cannot just copy the hex code and replace is there anything anyone knows on pulling something like this off?

If possible unlock option like turn off fan fault warning * I using not supported fan and every time on start I getting cpu fan fault.

Any other options will be nice like TDP control or Memory / GFX clock settings for OC Smile

Currently using F.17 Bios version

Hello there I just found this forum and I think it is amazing and offer great support. I own a DV6-1080el laptop, lately I make some little modification to it aside the bios mod that I found here, SSD, 8GB DDR2, Blue-Ray Burner and so. Frankly I dont love so much new laptops and I feel great with this one, that why I would like to make any futher modification. I recently buy a QX9300 CPU, but I still dint try it, first I want be sure I can make it work in this PC, I read about hw modification and so but them are referred to MB that dont have support of 1066 FSB, mine have it already cause my actual CPU is a T9550, I would like to share my experiences with us guys and maybe follow advices who have already try some of this mods. Also I notice that MB can be also easly replaced with other models like DV7-2XXX or so, all look like the same and with same connector types, and in that one, manual say that Quad Core (at least 9100) is supported. Question is someboy tried it pheraps with this new modified bios files?

Hello,

Hope I am posting in the correct section, I don't speak perfect English so I don't understand everything.

I did some research and I can't find a solution to my problem, but I arrived on this forum where I thought that maybe we could help me.

I have a problem with an Alienware Aurora ALX (R1) PC, I wanted to update the BIOS and there was a power failure... Now the computer starts up but no longer displays anything. It beeps when I remove the RAM or when I plug in a USB drive. But these are the only signs of life that I can get.
I tried to create a key with Crisis BIOS recovery but I cannot extract .rom file from .bin file found in .exe. And since I do not understand everything I am afraid of going about it badly.

Is it possible to do something or the motherboard is bricked in your opinion?

Bios file too large for programmer

Hi All,

Long story cut short - got an ASUS A68HM-Plus motherboard and when I updated the bios using the ASUS tool the file did not load.

End result was Bricked Mobo.

I got a CH431a programmer and following the many tutorials tried to reflash the removable bios chip.

The problem is that the Bios chip is 8MB in capacity and when you download the Bios file from ASUS and unpack it, invariable the total size is 8.3MB. The programmer says that the file is too large for the chip.

I have used the UEFI tool program to extract the file but the size is still 8.3MB.

Can someone please advise how to reduce the overall size of the file?
