But will not boot when I put them together. The machine beeps 5 short time with power led blinking red, the pattern repeat itself.

The bios had been updated to HP's lastest version which can be found here.

[REQUEST] Asus TUF Dash F15 BIOS Unlock (paying bounty!)

Hello!   I'm looking to figure out what's going on with this BIOS..  I have a CH341a and I dumped a good copy of the existing BIOS (attached).    I made various changes in AMIBCP (you need to use 5.2.0031 for this BIOS) and nothing will stick..  no new menus show up..  I'm assuming there might be more to it than I think?    Hex editing perhaps?  I clearly don't know what i'm doing..  I set many many things to USER in the bios and flashed it and it bricked my system entirely..  So I reflashed the stock BIOS and i'm back up and running..

I will pay a bounty for this!!!!

Things of note; this has the newer 11th gen Intel CPU of which Throttlestop cannot see the FIVR so i'm not sure if this is a block in the BIOS or an 11th gen specific thing. So ultimately in the very least I just want BIOS level undervolting and that would be sufficient for me. GPU wattage/voltage changes (if possible) would be nice as well but that can probably be handled through a VBIOS elsewhere.

Thanks!

Acer Predator G9-792 P5NCN P7NCN rev 2.0 Reboots with no image after FW update

Hello Guys,
I have got this Acer-Predator-G9-792-P5NCN-P7NCN-rev-2-0, where the customer was trying to update driver firmware under Windows with a firmware update tool. Seem like he bricks the machine, and now it turns on with the Acer chime sound, but no response after that. No picture on the screen and no response from the keyboard either.

It keeps rebooting 3-4 times and shuts down afterwards.

I am assuming he flashed the bios and got it corrupted.

Attached is his current bios. I tried to flash BIOS from @maxiholic's tread - https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-r...v-2-0-BIOS with no success? With the origianl BIOS it tries to start but reboots with no image. With these 2 flash on both chips, the power button light stays on, but no fan spin.

Do I need to mod something on the BIOS before I flash it?

Thanks for the input.

[Request] Asus B550 Strix F - Adding an option to Max Boost Clock Override

Hi guys, I want to add +300 Mhz as a boost option under the Max Boost Clock Override field on the AMD Overclocking section of the bios. I downloaded the latest bios and found the related field with UEFITool. After extracting the related PE32 image, i extracted it with Universal IFR extractor.

This is the related part;

Setting: Max CPU Boost Clock Override, Variable: 0xAD {05 9A 98 01 99 01 EC 00 00 F0 AD 00 10 12 00 00 00 00 C8 00 00 00 00 00 00 00}
0x9D63 Option: 0MHz, Value: 0x0 {09 0A 9A 01 12 02 00 00 00 00}
0x9D6D Option: 25MHz, Value: 0x0 {09 0A 9B 01 02 02 19 00 00 00}
0x9D77 Option: 50MHz, Value: 0x0 {09 0A 9C 01 02 02 32 00 00 00}
0x9D81 Option: 75MHz, Value: 0x0 {09 0A 9D 01 02 02 4B 00 00 00}
0x9D8B Option: 100MHz, Value: 0x0 {09 0A 9E 01 02 02 64 00 00 00}
0x9D95 Option: 125MHz, Value: 0x0 {09 0A 9F 01 02 02 7D 00 00 00}
0x9D9F Option: 150MHz, Value: 0x0 {09 0A A0 01 02 02 96 00 00 00}
0x9DA9 Option: 175MHz, Value: 0x0 {09 0A A1 01 02 02 AF 00 00 00}
0x9DB3 Option: 200MHz, Value: 0x0 {09 0A A2 01 02 02 C8 00 00 00}

I learned that the last 16 bits are same as the option value, for example last line C8 00 00 00 = 200, or the previous one AF 00 00 00 = 175.
I want to add 300MHz option and as a hex value 300 = 12C. This is what I came up with;

Option: 300MHz, Value: 0x0 {09 0A A3 01 02 02 12 C0 00 00}

I have never modified a bios before, I dont know how to put this modification to bios image. And I also wonder is it possible to recover the bios via Bios Flashback if something goes wrong?

Motherboard: Asus P5G41C-M LX
CPU: Xeon X5450
RAM: Kingston DDR3 1333 4G *2
After I switched from Core Processor to Xeon Processor, something went wrong with my computer.The problem is as follows, the computer can turn on normally, but it cannot turn on again after shutting down, unless the motherboard is powered off and the BIOS is cleared, it can start again.It's like static protection.

My motherboard has added 771 microcodes.

When I switched back to Core Processor, the problem disappeared.I don't know how I should solve it.

ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING - Enable x8x4x4 bifurcation possible? Topic settings Jump to

I bought this board reading that bifurcation is possible, but turns out only x8x8 is available in the BIOS, whereas I need x8x4x4 for my riser.

Some boards have the PCI bifurcation setting in the PBS menu, but this one has very little there.

My understanding is this should be possible on this chipset/CPU - so hoping it can be unlocked in a modded BIOS.

Can anyone help with this please?
