[REQUEST] Asus ROG G732LWS BIOS Unlock

Hi Bios-Mods,

I have seen some very helpful people here and I am looking to attempt to unlock my Laptops BIOS. I am not sure how much these new Asus Bios' are able to be unlocked as the undervolting is now locked down but I would love the ability to unlock advanced bios features like XMP and Sleep States supported by the BIOS. It would be even better if I was able to unlock CPU undervolting in the OS. I am using the latest version of the BIOS 310. Can you let me know what files are required or how I am able to create a BIOS dump? Most tools I have attempted to use are not able to recolonize this bios. I have attached the official 310 Asus Bios file.

Ciao!! Happy New Year!!

I am complete amateur so i would like to understand something before I ask how to unlock my bios.
BIOS Version: R0220E5
ME Version: 8.0.4.1441

I have two goals:
1) Remove wifi whitelist
2) Increase 2TB Hard Drive Limit

1) I recently purchased an Intel 7260 AC wifi card (WIFI + Bluetooth) that wouldnt work unless I taped pin 20, and the bluetooth wont function unless I taped pin 51.
Is is true that removing the "whitelist" is the solution to making this wifi card fully compatible/function without tape?
And if true, is it the same procedure as shown here?: https://www.bios-mods.com/wiki/How_to_Re...nsyde_BIOS

* I haven't found where to obtain my bios.fd file on Sony
* I've downloaded Insyde BIOS editor & Winhex

2) Is it possible to remove the 2TB limit on the bootable drive?

My laptop directs my life so i cannot afford to "brick"/destroy it, could someone walk me through with clear instrutions please?
From the very beginning and in the safest way possible please.

Quanta TWH disable LVDS

Hello
I have an old laptop Quanta TWH. The LCD has died on the laptop. I installed windows and linux on it but it "wants" to output picture to the LVDS and not to HDMI firstly.
Is it possible to modify the bios to change bios output to the firstly to hdmi?
Does the bios have any hidden features?

Hello I would need the help of the best!

Yes actually as you can see I'm looking to delete or at least replace to be able to use other periferic on my port mpcie. As I saw many asus does not have a whitelist but a member of the forum asus rog confirmed to me the opposite on the series ROG there is indeed a kind of whitelist.

So here's a little challenge for the best.
Here's the ID of my working wifi card (PCI-VEN_14E4-DEV_43B1-SUBSYS_21231A3B-REV_03).
I leave you my bios in latest versions 208

Flashing a WWAN PCI-E mobile network Card-Qualcomm MDM9600 chipset

the wwan card i have is compatible with  a set of frequencies and bands for the mobile network, but my firm-ware options are limmited to one single network . the network I would like to adapt to this piece of hard-ware has its firm-ware I am sure. how could one possibly take firm-ware from a cellular device and migrate it to a device with a similar chipset and frequency/band functions

Hello, so here's my concern.

I want to insert in place of my wifi chip an external graphics card in the mini pcie port.

My problem is that my bios disables the port 3 pcie when I branch egpu while when I hand over the original wifi chip it appears well.
I would love to know if one could look in my bios to see if there is something that makes it activities the port with egpu.

I managed to open my bios but I would like the help of a person who knows this kind of thing so as not to make conflit

Hello I find this on the forums asus regarding an asus of the G series range. This proves us that at least on this range there is a kind of whitelist.

My request:

1. I would like to set a TDP limit of 30 watts for my notebook.
2. I would like to manually adjust my fan CPU and GPU (1800 rpm).

My problem:

There are so many parameters and I don't know where to make these settings.
The notebook currently has a MANUAL FAN CONTROL where you can set 2300 rpm. (Synapse)

Maybe someone can help me would be very grateful and would also pay for the work.

I have an Acer Switft 3 SF314-51 blocked on black screen, form a stand-by. It's seems a bios issue.

Inside there are two .fd file.
Which one I need to use?
And what file name I need to use? (no succes using UEFITools)

dell bios ch341 help

My laptop (dell g7 7588) is still bricked after reprogramming chips Windonb 25Q128JV and 25Q80DV with custom flashes from a user over on win-raid.

For some reason neither change was able to restore function, and my verify came back with millions of differences, what do i do? There 2 other chips that can be programmed with CH341 from how they look: a 25X20CLNIG and an APL5934D. What are those?

[Request] Enabling BCLK adjustment in Supermicro BIOS

Hello, I’m currently working on a super-budget PC based on a Supermicro X8DTH-iF motherboard that I want to mod the BIOS of. What I want to do with it is enable the Base Clock to be changed from the BIOS, as well as be able to change a couple of the voltages that would affect the stability of the clock (Vcore, Vtt, etc.). I’ve tried my hand at doing this modification myself over the past month, but I’m not that experienced with this kind of low-level technology. I’ll detail some of the problems I’ve faced and ideas I’ve had over that time in this post. (Also, cooling won’t be an issue)


Something that I learned of pretty quickly was that there was another board, the EVGA SR-2 (270-WS-W555) motherboard, that had a similar hardware layout as well as BCLK and voltage adjustment. It used the same Chipsets (which control BCLK in the first place), supported the same CPUs I was using, had the same number of RAM and PCIe slots, etc. What I thought of was essentially going into the modules of its BIOS, finding the code responsible for this overclocking functionality, and implanting it into my motherboard’s BIOS, perhaps in a ROM hole. The only problem is that I am not very well equipped to go searching through the whole 4 MB file, or even the ~500 KB Arch Bios, for what I want to find. 


What also complicates this is that the MMTOOL program I use flags some of the modules of the BIOS that would need to be edited as “non-editable modules.” I’m sure that there is a simple-enough workaround for this (besides using a plain hex-editor), but modifying the MMTOOL program also seems beyond my skill set. That being said, I don’t think an experienced person would have much trouble doing that.
