HOW TO RECOVER INSYDE H20 BIOS? HELP

Hello,
I have Lenovo Ideapad 300-14ISK Laptop with INSYDE H20 BIOS.
I saw a method to format my USB to FAT and copying bioss.fd which I get after extracting my bios files to my USB and use FN+R button but nothing happens.
Can you tell me detailed method to recover Insyde BIOS? I have non-removable battery.\

Lenovo G710 restoring serial number after SPI flash

Hi folks,

i got a free Lenovo G710 which had symptoms of a corrupted or wrong bios (turning on with black screen and doing nothing). So i took my SPI programmer, made a backup of both bios and ec chip and flashed a dump that i found on the net.

The machine works fine now, but the bios information page shows:
Product Name: INVALID
Lenovo SN: INVALID
UUID Number: FFFFFFFF-FF[...]

The major problem is, that windows cannot be activated due to missing license information. Is it possible to restore the missing information? Maybe from the backup?

Hello,

I have Sony Vaio VGN-FE690P
BIOS PhoenixBIOS ver. R0174J3

motherboard
ms11 mbx-149 rev 1.1

My problem is that my notebook cannot see more than 3GB of RAM. But windows starts with 2gb RAM only, with 3gb RAM shows black screen(
Could You make custom BIOS that supports up to 4GB (2x2GB)

Hi everyone, I want to have my BIOS unclocked and whitelist removed, so I could change the DVMT pre-allocated memory settings, overclock CPU and RAM in the advanced menu, and replace the old wireless card with other PCI-E devices. If someone could please mod this for me I would really appreciate it.
BIOS version: 9ECN43WW (V3.03)
BIOS mode: UEFI
Baseboard version: K0J40688WIN
My machine:
Lenovo Y50-70
Intel i7-4710HQ @2.50ghz

Hello everyone i faced with problem that new 10th intel gen can't be undervolted with throttlestop without unlocking full advanced bios settings so i'm asking pro guys from this forum could you help me with that please? I've read before that firstly i need to make a dump of my current bios but idk how.

Hello!
I've decided to upgrade my system with SSD. So i want to use maximum capabilities of this hardware.
I want to use PCIe to install SSD NVME memory, because SATA on this motherboard is SATA2 )=
I need to modify bios to boot from PCIe NVME SSD.

So, here we are.

MSI P45 Neo (MS-7519)
PCIe 16x 2.0

AMI BIOS version 1.12 (01/18/10)

This is a Jingsha Bios for the X89-L Board (My board is having issues so I dumped the bios thinking I could fix it.)

I have that exact combo, however my board acts the same regardless of the bios installed. I.E. I erased the rom completely and it did the same thing (waiting on RMA support). If someone could Tinker with this, or maybe the stock rom will help someone who needs an untouched version.

Hey
As i said in the title,i tried everything from CMOS battery to short pins the main bios, i manged to keep it running but no display no keyboard works. Im sure it is a corrupted BIOS bacause when i upgrade it to win 10 the system rebooted and starting updating something bedore booting to the windows then it shutdowns and start the bootloop cycle. So after some digging i found that it is possible to fix it by flashing rom with rasbperry pi or maybe swap the bwckup BIOS with tha main BIOS. I just need some help and confirm this if its possible before doing something stupid

Hello, my problem is:
I wanted to install windows 8.1. The installation was successful, and the windows install attach the "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" driver to my GTX 1070.
Every time when I want to install the offical nvidia geforce driver (the version is not matters, tried a lot of them) the OS stuck in an infinite "freeze loop" If I move my mouse cursor sometimes shows but 1-2 sec and gone. Mostly black screen. If I turn on the caps lock (the key led is on) same 1-2 sec and turning off. I have tried install the nvidia driver in pure windows install and tried install all the windows update and tried after that. None of those worked Sad
I dumped my BIOS looking something maybe I can use. I found some hidden settings but I don know if I allow them helps me or not.
Someone has any idea what is going on? I know Dell officially only supports windows 10 and yes w10 is working fine, but I really want to use w8.1 if that possible somehow... Maybe I have some BIOS restriction? Any idea?

cpu microcode error priolant ml110 g5

hello I have a hp priolant ml110 g5 server running with an intel E2160 cpu in socket 775 and putting a xeon 3110 cpu does not turn off the fan (which in its normal operation only works on occasions and at startup), microcode error and does not start the system operational. according to HP the processor is compatible with the xeon31xx series only under update but valid for windows server 2003 to 2008r2 and I have a more modern one. If you could help me to update that CPU I would appreciate it.

I have a Intel Xeon E5-2699 V4 QHUP Engineering Sample
Core Stepping - B0(QK10, QK7J, SR2JS)
CPUID – 406F1 (QK10, QK7J)
 
I have a Huananzhi X99-F8 mainboard
Bios Version-5.11
Build Date-May 25th 2020
Brand-American Megatrends (2019)
 
I would like to use this CPU on this mainboard, the system does POST fine, the CPU does appear in the BIOS normally.
But when loading Windows 10 it simply does not work. At the moment I am temporarily using a spare CPU.
Other people say Huananzhi X99 mainboards have trouble with Engineering Sample chips, I’d say is there a possibility to update the micro code, or roll back the bios to an older version with support for the Engineering Sample?
Please help.
