[REQUEST] Ideapad 700-15ISK - Variable add

Dear Gents,

I rescued a Lenovo Ideapad 700-15ISK Type 80RU.
The matter is that Bios is displaying:

Product Name - Lenovo E5 - Wrong, it should be the above name
MTM - INVALID - should be replaced by the number on the sticker on the backside of the laptop
Lenovo SN - INVALID - should be replaced by the number on the sticker on the backside of the laptop
UUID Number - 0000000-000 etc, this one might have been lost because i don't have it anywhere.
All te info can be seen in the attachement.

Now, can someone please add the Name, MTM and SN to the bios file so they will be updated as they should. Any help or indication would be greatly apreciated.

Regenerate an old computer (Packard Bell)

Goodmorning everyone! I am a beginner and I write from Italy.
In this period of emergency "COVID 19", in which we are all locked in the house, I wanted to re-installation the programs of my old Packard Bell.
I had a Packard Bell multimedia 6501; I kept the floppy disk and the two original cd-roms for re-installation from scratch but the computer was scrapped as it was broken and cannot be repaired anymore.
Today, I have another old computer where I wanted to install packard bell programs.
Reading the website (http://passion-pb.fr/tattoo.php) I think I understand that the main problem is that of the motherboard which in my case has the constraints "tattoo" and "exths".
I don't have my old Packard Bell multimedia anymore, so I don't have the motherboard.
The question is, is there any way to install Packard Bell programs on a different computer anyway? so on a computer that doesn't have the original hardware? motherboard first of all?
Also because I tried to extract the programs (windows 98 plus various game programs) from these original CD-ROMs but there is nothing to do; they are all protected / compressed, I believe, and even though using various programs, such as 7-zip, there is nothing to do, you cannot.

Hello, I would like to unlock all functions of my bios, I wish to do overclock but there is no option there in the bios, also memory clock i cant touch on those.... I have 8 gb of ram installed, but on bios shows only 4gb, on windows works fine... I cant find any updates to this bios, i dont find anything related to the board. Anyways, i would like to request a mod to this bios, i want all funcions unlocked if possible, or at least the more interesting ones, thank you

by the way, I upgraded the stock cpu to intel x9000 and I placed 6gb more of ram from the stock of 2gb, also I am using a express card with 3 usb 3.0, place an ssd instead of stock hdd, and  i intend to put a ssd on the empty mini pci slot. manny thanks!!!

Good morning, am new here, and at my country is 05:38am, and i am for hours trying to unlock the Advanced Settings for my bios, insydeh20 rev 3.5 so then I fined this site and I came here making a requests, so please someone have a Bios for HP Pavilion g4-1190 (Intel) with Advanced Settings? Or just even know if some other bios from another computer works for me?

There were no archived unlocks available for this specific model or bios (sp101369.exe [unrar for 086AAF05.exe] -- latest as of 4/18/2020).

If you need more info, screenshots, or pictures, please, let me know.

Lenovo Thinkpad e550 bios unlock

Hi everyone, I bought a new ram stick, my bios won't detect it but cpu-z can.
The problem is the ram I bought is ddr3 (1.5 v) but my slot only accepts ddr3l (1.35v) but I think I can tweak it with advanced bios settings.

Could anyone unlock the latest bios update for my e550 for me??

Acer Aspire E5-772G Serial missing after BIOS replace

Hello folks!
I'm looking for some help or hints to rewite the orginal serial no for my Acer Aspire E5-772G after i had to replace the bios ic due liquid damage.

I flashed the attached bios file correctly and the laptop is working properly again only serial no, service tag and uuid are either blank or filled with default values (1234567890123.....) in bios.

So can someone provide me the offsets in Insyde H20 Bios for serial no etc?

AHCI unlock for Gateway md2614u (Radeon HD3200 chipset)

I've recently revived a Gateway md2614u laptop that turned out to need nothing more than a fan replacement to work.

But in this day and age of SSDs being standard for anybody but those needing lots of storage (and why would you want a ton of storage specifically on a 12 year old laptop?), having AHCI support is a must...and of course, the BIOS does not have this option despite having a Radeon HD3200 chipset. I also confirmed and tested that it's definitely configured to be running in "IDE mode".

So yeah, an AHCI bios unlock would be awesome, especially since it's sadly the fastest laptop I own with an HDMI port (my other laptops have DisplayPort, VGA, or no dedicated HDMI or DisplayPort port at all without the use of adapters).


Navigating to where to download the BIOS is slightly a pain though as Gateway doesn't have a single product page I can link to.

Step 1 is to go here: https://www.gateway.com/gw/en/US/content...-downloads

Step 2: Under "Select my product from a list", click "Notebooks"

Step 3: Scroll down and select "MD Series"

Step 4: Clock "MD26"

Step 5" Scroll down and click "BIOS/Firmware"


And that it - you can download any of the listed BIOS versions, including the latest "9A30b".

I do want to say one thing I had issues with: when I was updating the BIOS, I had to actually update it twice - first to 9A24 and then to 9A30b. BIOS 9A24 worked perfectly fine for few miniutes that I used it, but I had something weird happen with the fan on 9A30b initially - the first and second time when I had cold-booted into an existing Win7 installation from a different PC, the fan would not spin up despite me even second the CPU temp the second time it occurred and the CPU being at like 80C (rebooting fixed this).

I do not know if it's a bug with that BIOS or something with the fact that it was an OS installation from a different laptop (HP DM1), but I've never been able to replicate the issue at least when cold booting into a live Linux distro on a USB drive. For this reason it may be prudent to do the AHCI unlocking also for BIOS version 9A24 in case there really is some sort of bug with 9A30b.

Unlock overclock settings on ASRock B365M

Hey, so I only recently started looking in to bios modding because I finally realized after weeks of confusion why I couldn't overclock my cpu higher that my motherboard doesn't support overclocking. Is it possible to add to the UEFI overclock settings and allow my cores to go past 49x? If so, I will continue doing research trying to learn and see if I can do this myself but if anyone out there is willing to help it would mean the world. I now deeply regret getting this motherboard because I have a intel K processor but it's wasted by my motherboards limitations. If this isn't possible, or even if it is, any suggestions on how I can achieve a higher core frequency would be heavily appreciated. I'm including my current bios as an attatchment. Thanks so much even if you just took the time to read this. :_)

Hi, 
my laptop wont boot when i unplug the WLAN card and plug in a pcie cable to a gpu adapter.i can however hotswap them after putting my laptop into sleep but then theres a code 12.I think its the bios causing issues. Wouldnt mind if extra settings are available as well,
