Does anyone know how to customized the splash logo for Clevo N141ZU & N151ZU?

The current splash screen says Style Note which is very ugly.

Both laptops have Insyde BIOS.

I upgraded to a xeon x3470 but im having problems overclocking

so i get this new xeon x3470 and i go to overclock it yea no problem in my bios im using a 24x multiplier and a 150 bus speed problem is when i run benchmarks it says my cpu is only clocked to 3.3 ghz and in cpuz it is telling me it is at a static 3.6ghz on idle and under load i have a static clock set speed step and turbo boost are turned off! i dont understand why this is happening i want my cpu to be running at PEAK performance it isnt thermal throttling either i dent a stress test and max temps are around 80c before when i had an i5 750 i had that thing overclocked to 3.8ghz no problem i didnt have this problem with my i5 but i get this xeon and all the sudden it isnt overclocked as much as it is supposed to i had someone on toms hardware show me this https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/...d.3522587/ but he clearly cant read that i said i am not! using turbo boost i have a static clock set so maybe somebody on here can help me it would be much appreciated thanks and have a nice day  -Zach
edit - i dont know why in throttle stop it says i have speedstep on i turned it off in my bios

GA-78LMT-USB3 version 4.1

I am looking for a dell 2.1 or higher bios mod for this device.
I have one for Rev 6.0 and it is 4 mb, where the flash on 4.1 was 2 mb.
I have saved the bios using the AMI bios flash tool.

The F4 version prefereably.
I have  a rev 6 with DEL 2.2 slick table.  That board seems to have bitten the dust, and I grabbed one off ebay and forgot to check the revision.

Hi i have notebook lenovo ideapad 330-15arr

processor - ryzen 5  2500u

video vega 8 256mb

bios - insydeh20 rev 5.0 7VCN47WW


I got the version of your BIOS in fd format and pulled out a file FE3542FE-C1D3-4EF8-657C-8048606FF670_969 but I don't know what settings to change.


 I would like to increase the amount of video memory allocated to the video adapter or unlock the BIOS to the advanced version. pls help

Bios Mod for X5660 support on a GA-X58-USB3

Hi 

I was looking for a modded bios and already found myself one that was modded for X5650.

Checked the CPU ID of the X5660. CPU ID: 000206C2. 
Checked the bios with MC Extractor And the microcode 206C2 had a big fat No.

Is there anyone here that can help me out or guide me on this bios mod?

Clevo P775TM1-G AMI BIOS recovery

Hello,

I'm trying to enter recovery mode on a bricked Clevo P775TM1-G.

Pressing Fn+B during POST does make it read from the USB drive but after a few seconds (USB drive with LED blinks for about 3 seconds) it just gives up and does nothing, no matter how long I leave it.

Reading from the USB drive occurs only after the keyboard lights have finished their show(seriously, whoever programmed this had a lot of time on his hands).


It does seem to recognize AMIBOOT.ROM and BIOS.ROM files because if the filename changes, then the LED on the USB drive only blinks for 1 second before giving up.

I've tried with all BIOS versions I could, olded to newest, but what I would really want is 1.05.09 as this is the last known version to work properly.

BIOS chip is MX25L6473F . BIOS is AMI Aptio if I remember correctly but BIOS files are from manufacturer so it shouldn't matter.


CH341A programmer is on its way but I was hoping to do something in the meantime.

I've attached a service manual, maybe it helps. Page 75.

I'm at the end of my knowledge. I hope someone could please help with this.
