[REQUEST] Acer Aspire 7720Z need help!

Hi all !
I am happy to found this forum and i hope you can help me?
I have a laptop Acer Aspire with cpu Intel T9500 , this cpu support virtualization , but by default its disabled in bios.
So anyone can mod this bios and enable hidden advanced menu , so that i can use virtualization option?
I know there exist a modded bios for Acer Aspire 7720G, but i am not sure that is suitable for my case
I already found official bios firmware and include it to this post.
So any help is welcome.

Hi i was wondering if all options can be unlocked/unhidden from this bios especially if ahci is there etc.

I had already done slic into bios but the unlocking etc is beyond my expertise.

Hello guys I bought this mobo P7H55-M(BM5275) for Ocing my xeon x3440 but it seems that Ocing option in BIOS is either hidden or locked. The Bios can be found here

I am using the latest 0602 version. The thing is all the related models (P7H55 series) of this mobo has the Ocing options except this mobo due to this being a part of pre built I think. I bought this mobo and new cooler in hopes of squeezing an extra ghz from cpu but looks like there is no option left. If somebody can help me with this, please reply. thank you.

TDP Unlock

Hello maybe someone can help me here, I would be very happy. My bios has been unlocked, but unfortunately I can not write some settings. However, it is only temporarily taken over until the complete restart of the notebook is completed. I own an Acer E5-774G with I7-7500U CPU.
If I test the Notbook in Prime95, the TDP package goes short on 19W and then permanently on 15W, tested with XTU Throttlestop HWInfo and AIDA64.

I have made the Bios original available and modified, but unfortunately I can not save permanently in all settings. I am also not sure if I have set everything correctly, but I know that the TDP is higher than 15W.

I hope I'm following proper protocol (new person) but I have searched significantly for the BIOS with added microcode for my MT (mini tower/desktop) Dell 380.

My CPU is a Xeon E5430 SLBBK E0 stepping. I've read through this 21 page thread here https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-O...t=dell+380 but the end result is links that seem to go nowhere and questions regarding digitally signed BIOS versions A06 and A07.

This link is to the Dell 380 BIOS A05 https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/...erid=0j2fx which I assume is the most appropriate to get around the digital signature (as I understand it). I would need whatever modifications to work with a Xeon E5430, SLBBK, E0 stepping.

 I tried a few time to create the proper BIOS with microcode but let's say..., I found my limitations. Thank you for any help that might be provided.

Hi all,

I'm looking to try to unlock the bios (UEFI firmware) of my laptop but first of all I need to extract it.
Its a LG gram 15z980.

LG is far from friendly with the updates and all that offer is EXEs precompiled that check the Bios versión before apply any update (this is the USA and Korea pages, in my country not even that)



I wish i could be able to have a backup of my own firmware and have the posibility of flash it back in case of problems.

Could you guide me about dumping the current Firmware and how to flash this kind of BIOS ?

The only thing I have at the moment is the EXE updater from LG and i tried to decompress it and find the BIOS bin but it's confusing for me.

hi
please i want to modify my dell studio 1537 in order to run external graphic card gtx 1070 ti and need help on it. i try it with my laptop but it started with a blank screen so what i did is to turn on my laptop first then i turn my graphic card with EXP GDC Beast dock but it did not detect the graphic card but when i put my laptop to sleep and turn it on it detect the graphic card but with an error that This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)

Hi all !
I am happy that i  found this forum and i hope you can help me?

I know there exist a modded bios for Acer Aspire 7720G, but i am not sure that is suitable for my case, because i have 7720Z.
Additionally i attached the orginal bios of my laptop, which i flashed and it works on my laptop without any problems.
So any help is welcome!  Heart

I ordered a CPU from aliexpress but did not know that a modified BIOS was required Sad
