Once again about Asus EeePC 1011cx (motherboard 1015cx)... How to fix the BIOS?

Greetings to all fans and professionals of BIOS alteration! Will you help me in the matter of BIOS output(and the whole stage of netbook system loading) to the screen of an external monitor connected via hdmi? Is it possible to implement something like "Power on display", like in Lenovo netbook on this video: https://youtu.be/_-35a1Gp1PQ (here, however, the monitor is connected via another connector)? It is not necessary, of course, to do this item in the BIOS menu, the main thing is that the BIOS recognizes the monitor connected via hdmi and automatically displays information there. Currently, the image is displayed on an external monitor only during Windows welcome. I would be very grateful to all who responded to my request! Acer Aspire 5736Z

I realize this has been Requested in multiple threads, but the most important modded BIOS which unlocks all advanced menus (instead of just the useless ASF Configuration), is locked out (Restricted) by BDMaster. He hasn't been around in months, and I PM'd him directly a couple days ago, but nothing yet. I have been at this for 3 days now, all day, every day. This weekend was supposed to be an easy one. Modify BIOS, install new CPU (T9400), upgrade RAM to 8GB, fresh install Win10, and have fun tweaking on. Big Grin
Instead, I'm still on the first step, Dodgy as I have looked everywhere for that particular BIOS mod download.


I will continue searching and trying to get it to flash one that I have thats in .ROM form, if it is in fact the one that unlocks the menus properly, as I can't know until I manage a successful flash. I've downloaded a bunch of stuff from MyDigitalLife, for Insyde and Pheonix BIOS', so I can either flash the .rom file, or convert it to .fd, which is Insyde Winflash, which is the advisors preferred method.
I usually prefer DOS flashing, but whatever gets me there.
Hopefully someone can help me out directly, with the right BIOS file(s).


The latest Acer bios, which I had installed initially, but now a mod of the same version, that opens up the aforementioned ASF Config, is v1.14:

With afudos I have an error 18. Same for afuwin.


Is a Aptio V bios.

I attach the bios that I extracted without modifying

How could I update the bios? I have a SOIC programmer, should I use it?

I'm trying to OC the CPU in my computer so that I can get all four cores to 3.5ghz instead of just 1. I am guessing that I would have to get the bios unlocked if so does anyone know if it has been done yet or that can do it? What about unlocking Throttlestop or XTU? Idk what the capabilities of what someone can do, there might be other options that aren't as big as the bios.

Also I'm guessing that if I were to get the PLL for my motherboard and input it into SETFSB I could potentially overclock it a little. I just don't know enough to figure it all out. If anyone has any information on either of those request please, please let ya boy know.

PLL for my mobo

Soooooo…….. I am trying to overclock my i5-7300hq. I have tried literally everything and it has led me to trying to get the PLL for my motherboard, then inserting it into SETFSB. That is the last thing I can try. Problem is I can't figure out the PLL and getting it into SETFSB is another problem because I don't know how insert it because you have to have the information the right way so SETFSB can recognize it. If this worked then all the haters saying it can't be done on literally every forum I have read about the chip lol well we could stick it to them lol. Their probably right though but its not gonna stop me. You can do anything if you put your mind to it right?

Changing serial number in Lenovo InsydeH20 Bios

Hi everybody,
 
I changed the mainboard of my Lenovo IdeaCentre A540.
The new mainboard works so far, but the error “00CE: Machine Type and Serial Number are invalid” appears during boot-up.
 
Bios: InsydeH20
Bios Revision Level: O00KT18AUS
Boot Block Revision Level: 1.18
Bios Build Data: 08/15/2014
Microarchitecture: Haswell
 
I have already spent a lot of time to solve the issue (Lenovo Maintenance Disk, DMI Editor etc.), but without any success. Lenovo doesn’t provide any update for my Bios version.
 
When reading similar posts in this forum, I basically recognized three possibilities:
  1. Unlocking InsydeH20 Advanced Settings
  2. Changing variables via an UEFI Variable Editor
  3. Updating Bios with a modified version
 
Has anybody experience on how to enter the serial number and could provide any advice?
 
Would be more than happy for any support.

Dell XPS L502X Management Engine request

Hello, I would like to request if someone can attempt to update the Management Engine firmware on the old L502X Laptops. There was an old bios mod thread with a link to 7.1.80 here but its long dead (this actual bios mod is irrelevant to this request; I already have it installed and working). The first page of the same thread also has a hack to enable overclocking via Intel XTU by patching the IME firmware, but is designed for 7.1.52. I'm wondering if it can be made to work on newer versions and without having to get physical with the firmware chip. I also found what appear to be downloads for IME firmware here but I'm not exactly sure.

Hello,

would you please unlock and remove the Whitelist from Bios for Insyde Bios Version 3.5 (HP Version F.46).

I uploaded the download directly.

Cause my CPU, a Intel QX 9300, isn`t supported even not after bios flash...

I flashed 2 bioses from this site: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0...XNMSFZFX00

Its for another notebook model (HP dv 6, I think a thread of your site but not listed here) but both worked and i got unlocked bioses but 2 different 

versions. I would prefer the second one, if possible. 

But I wasn`t able to run my new CPU (black screen only). Whitelist seems not to be removed...

I will give donation, it is work and I think that its got to be honored and donated.

Hi comrades,

I suppose you guys have a pretty busy schedule out there..
But if you have a few moments to spare, and have a charitable soul, can you make that bios (below) more cooperative, so that he let me plug my big egpu in his tiny little pcie 1x hole...
I think it's a whitelist issue, black screen from the abyss (not the movie) when booted up...

My config is :
Laptop : Asus K53TK (amd chip of course..)
BIOS : AMI v206
EGPU : exp gdc v8 with geforce gtx 1050 Ti

Hello,
I want to use Intel Core 2 Quad Extreme QX 9300, my Bios is F.46.
I think its working but black screen... Q 9000 and Q 9100 are supported says HP...
So do I have to use the 2 Updates from here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0...XNMSFZFX00
and its possible to use the QX 9300 ???
And just double click on the exe like with the Bios HP Updates ???
Or do I have to make any changes in the Bios before starting with the QX 9300 ???
Deactivate something like Speed Stepping, Virtualization or so ???
Disambling was very difficult, so it better should work at the first try before I put the QX 9300 in again... :-)
