Unlock Zebronics Z55

So I've this Zebronics Z55 motherboard, and an i7 870 with turbo boost.

With the stock bios, I cannot enable turbo boost with which my processor can go up to 3.7ghz but since I cannot enable it because there's no option to do it as its a locked bios. The bios version is 080015 AMI.

I'm not able to find any image of bios anywhere, if anyone can tell me how to dump it, I'll do it, I tried AMIWIN tool but it says "error cannot get flash information", so I'm really stuck right now.

Help me out please, it's urgent.

[Request] ASRock Wolfdale1333-D667 R2.0 unlock request

Hello!

This should be an easy one as it is a quite old socket LGA 775 motherboard. I want to try whether a LGA 771 Xeon would work in this motherboard, so that's why I request the unlock of the BIOS - as well as seeing if the motherboard has overclocking features hidden. If it was possible, it would be helpful if the microcode for all LGA 771 and LGA 775 cpu was included. As I know how to do it myself, it is okay if it is not.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Greetings,
Ángel

P.S.: Here is the official bios from ASRock - the one attached is also the same.

AsRock N68C-S UCC bios mod for supports AM3+?

Hello, I have an old Asrock N68C-S UCC and I want to modify the bios for support AM3+ 95W CPUs.

N68C-S UCC is almost like N68C-GS FX which supports some FX-series 95W CPUS (4100, 4150 and 4300)

AsRock N68C-S UCC  - https://www.asrock.com/mb/nvidia/n68c-s%20ucc/
AsRock N68C-GS FX - https://www.asrock.com/mb/NVIDIA/N68C-GS%20FX/

They are like a twins, еverything is the same with the exception of LAN chip. N68C-S UCC has RTL8201EL and N68C-GS FX has RTL8211CL.
Can I flash directly N68C-GS FX bios to N68C-S UCC?
If not, can you help me to modify N68C-S UCC bios to support 95W AM3+ CPUs?
I believe that N68C-S UCC can support 95W AM3+

I've I tried to open bioses with MMtool but I have no idea which CPU patches to add for AM3+

Also can I add support not only for 4100, 4150 and 4300 but also for FX-6100 and 6300 (95W)?

Hi Guys

My Asus UX330UAK is not working properly, the keyboard backlit doesn't turn on after I sent the laptop to Asus for a repair.
The fix is to get a full dump of the bios file from the same laptop that is working 100%
If you have this laptop help me! I teach how the bios dump has to be done, takes only 5 to 10 minutes, it will save my laptop and I will send a $ gratuity to you by Paypal.

There is some bios dumps on the internet, but they are not a full dump made correctly, I tried them all, doesn't work

Thanks a lot

[REQUEST] Hystou S200 BIOS unlock

Hey

I recently bought this mini-pc, Hystou/Eglobal NUC-type pc.
This is not the first one, I have an older model as well. Nice fanless one. That bios was totally unlocked though, from the start.
With this new one there's almost nothing to do in the bios at all, never seen such a restricted bios before I think.

I want this unlocked for a number of reasons, including fan control and cpu/ram OC/control (supported by chipset).

Btw, I was reading here and on win-raid these hystou has a broken ME region or something, well I can say this one also shows
nothing in ME version string (also on the older model I own). Strange thing though I don't think I need it in any case.

This model is very recent, with a bios version of 12/26/2018, and I noticed it contains newer modules for intel RST and VBIOS
than is available in UBU.

I've attached two FPT dumps, one bios and one full dump (and a hwinfo report, just in case it's useful).

PS: I also tried to unlock myself but I got this "saving secure rom as unsigned" so I wasn't sure if that was ok and I didn't want
to deal with a brick or some problem.

Hey guys,

I am looking for an advanced BIOS unlock for sp56058 on a HP Pavilion dm4-1000.

specifically I want the SATA AHCI option (default is IDE).

Is anyone able to provide me with this please? Or I will attempt to do it myself if someone can forward me a place to start!

There is a WiFi whitelist mod on this site, but not an advanced unlock (or AHCI). I also cannot find one in the repository.

Here is a link to the vanilla BIOS: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp56001-5...p56058.exe

Here are the screenshots of the current BIOS:

Asrock A300M non APU support

I want use the the recently released asrock A300M mSTX motherboard for a SFF project and I want to use an R5 2600 and RX Vega 56 (connected with an m.2 to PCIe riser). The board does not post with my 2600 installed but work just fine with a 200ge that I bought to troubleshoot, also the gpu works as well with the riser in an M.2 slot.

I would like to have support for the 2600 (and all of the ryzen CPU if possible, because why not) and unlocking the multiplier would be nice but isn't a necessity.

Would it be possible to flash an asrock a320 or b350 BIOS to this board, to add the wanted support with a modded bios?

I need your help as Asrock has been reluctant to even reply to me asking if there is even a possibility for them to do this. I'm new so sorry for any dumb questions.

Here is my build on the SFF forum.

Hey guys,

first of all, sorry for my bad englisch.
I need your help. I'm using a Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315 laptop with an Insyde H2O V 1.22 Bios.

I have password protected it and forgot the password now Confused I tried to remove the password, but nothing helped.
I tried it with a Bios Recovery Password from bios-pw.org, but this doesn't work, because I got a 8 decimal digits code, but I need a 10 decimal digits code.
At next, I tried it with removing the cmos battery. But this also doesn't work.

Does anyone have any idea how else to remove that password?

Hi community members & modders,

before I flash a modded bios, I wanted to be sure that I can do a BIOS recovery but as it turns out I can't Sad .
I followed the recovery guide here.
  • Extracted the BIOS .ROM file from bios update for my model from sony's website.
  • Renamed it to HK1X64.fd ( phoenix tool said "Recovery filenames are: HK1X64.f?", so i gues I renamed it right?).
  • Formatted my USB FAT32 and copied the HK1X64.fd in root directory.(there's no other files in USB)
  • Turned off my Laptop, disconnected power cable and removed the battery.
  • Inserted the USB.
  • Pressed Win+B.
  • Connected power adapter.
  • Pressed power button.
  • After the LED turned on I released the keys.
My laptop just booted to OS.
tried different key combinations like fn+B, fn+esc unfortunately nothing worked.

It seems to me that my laptop isn't entering the recovery mode it doesn't even look for the system files on USB, although the light on USB blinks a few times.

System Manufacturer: Sony Corporation
             System Model: VPCEH25EN
BIOS: InsydeH2O Version 03.60.51R0200Z9 (type: BIOS)
                Processor: Intel® Core™ i3-2330M CPU @ 2.20GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.2GHz

Any help will be highly appreciated.

THANK YOU.

Hello,
some years ago I bricked my laptop. It is an old one but as fun I wanted to recover it.
Whats happened. For some years ago I made a bad bios flash, but was recoverable over crisis disk. But I did not stopped and played again with bios. I tried to backup an bios with some tool over dos. As I remember it was not the official phlash tool but something universal. Backup went well so I also tried to flash it back. But in flash process I have seen some red markers that some sectors was not written all right. And it happened again, no boot. Of course I tried to recover the bios with crisis disk but did not helped. So I let the laptop sleeping for some years again. Now I desoldered the chip and flashed over raspberry PI first 7FFFFh data from WPH file and soldered back. But the laptop remains not working. Only fan is ON and power LED. Does anybody of you have an idea what could happened? Why is it not booting anymore?
chip is: sst49LF004A it communicates on firmware hub bus
attachments:
zaloha2.bin: it is a backup of the bricked bios, only to 7FFFFh are valid data, over 7FFFFh was the chip read from beginning again
bios.wph: this is bios which was first working to flash over crisis disk, flashed only first 7FFFFh of data
verify.bin: after flashing I read the bios again to verify if the flash is allright
laptop: http://global.aopen.com/products_detail.aspx?auno=1638 my has slightly different configuration, it has Radeon 9600 graphics and better display
bios: it is a PHOENIX bios
I am welcome for any help and idea, I know it is a piece of crap, but makes fun and it was my first laptop Wink

Hi there,

Id would like some help in unlocking all options within my bios for my upcoming hackintosh build.

Ive gone ahead and dumped the entire SPI flash chip, all it needs is someone with the know-how to unlock it.

I have tried myself by extracting the setupUtility IFR but i have little knowlege on how to actually stop items being supressed from the menus.

The laptop is a SONY VAIO SVF1531B4E.

Thanks.

Compaq Presario SR5908F Unlocked Bios Request

Hello everyone, I'm new to this site and I've been finding so many ways of how to overclock this system which was no good. When I tried Nvidia's discontinued Ntune software, the system just froze and restart even with a mild overclock. It seems that the motherboard doesn't like certain OC software. Now I've seen only a few threads about this motherboard, but none of them relates to overclocking, only updates. I created this one and only thread for anyone seeking to help and mod this infamous bios.

Motherboard: Pegatron Corporation M2N68-LA (Narra5)
Cpu: Amd Athlon II X4 630 @ 2.8GHZ
Gpu: GTX 650
Ram: 4GB DDR2 @800MHZ
OS: Windows 10
Bios Version: 5.58
Chipset: Nforce 430 Nvidia Geforce 6150SE

Other OC software I used that you might know are the following:
(These don't work at all)
-Clockgen
-AmdMsrTweaker
-Amd OverDrive
-SetPLL
-SetFSB
-CpuCool
-Amd Catalyst Control Center
-PhenomMsrTweaker

I know this request is long but I just want to know if someone can actually mod this OEM Bios to it's potential. One example is the Unlocked Nettle 3 Bios which I believe came from the same manufacturer. Well, lets see if we can do it   Smile .

My latest bios is included below if you want to update your motherboard!
