M2N8-LA (NARRA3) BIOS

Hi,

I've got a HP Pavilion a6511.uk that has a M2N68-LA (NARRA3) motherboard with bios version 5.14, it current has a AMD 64 x2 4600 processor. I want to upgrade the processor to a AMD Phenom x4 9500 processor. The HP support pages specify that the board supports this processor, but when I install it I get nothing. By nothing I mean the PC powers up (no flashing power light or beep codes) but I get no video at all (tried onboard video and graphics card).

I believe that BIOS v5.17 may have the support I'm looking for, can anyone help?

Hello and a happy new year! i have this asrock board that supports 1066fsb. i updated the cpu microcode extracted from 4core1333-esata2 with mmtool and now i could ran 1333fsb core 2 duo if i overclock the board to 1333. i have tested e6750 already! i have also another question! on AMIBCP on bios strings i could see that the board has vcore voltages from 0.8375v-1.60v which choose automatically! could we add a manually selection for this? thank you very much!

Hello need to put my intel centrino wifi card 6230 n advanced , please can anyone help to do white list and enable wi-di in the bios as well , by the way i downloaded the file Lenovo_G500_78CN23WW_BACKUP_NWL_phanguin and flash it and i´ve lost my radeon card from bios at all even in win 8.1 there is only intel hd 4000 recognized.

Bios unlock/mod

I have been trying to modify this bios, it is off a qnap ts509 motherboard.
it uses intel 945g chipset and only supports cpus upto 1066mhz fsb.

I have updated the microcodes, and have a quadcore coming to test quadcores are working or not, they wasn't before. An e7600 will. original cpu was a Celeron 1.6mhz.

I would like to add overclocking features, for multiplier and fsb, if possible.

it is a 1024kb bios, and can only find 512kb bios elsewhere, so not sure I can just copy parts from one to another, I assume not. i.e. the link arch part from a motherboard with 945g chipset and overclocking.

it has a sort of no entry sign at top of some columns in AMIBCP.
on a side note, on this board there are 2 marvell 88se6145 sata controllers, I obtained a later firmware for these, 1.1.0.L75, hoping it will give >2tb support, some sites like hitachi storage say they are compatible, on this board they are not. however the flash is write protected, never seen that before, any ideas how to unwrite protect it? it isn't an option rom in the bios, that's for the intel vga.

the basis for my current workstation is unfortunately limited when it comes to overclocking ability. as in there are no options,
any features that you can unlock for overclocking would be greatly appreciated!

The main reason on why I am doing this is because I would like to try and play a little bit with the Mavericks Hackintosh but I can't make it boot from USB.

Hi i have a Fujitsu Futro S500 that i would like a unlocked bios for.

i have searched fujitsu site for a download and they provide a tool to make either a floppy or a usb i extracted the contents with winrar and am left with .omf and .ocf files

i think these are the files required for the bios flash

if some one could please have a look i would be very grateful
