I have a toshiba Satellite C655D-S5302 with an InsydeH20 Bios with the following version:

Chipset: AMD 1510 rev 0
Bios Revision: 1.80
Bios ID: PSC0YU-018002
Full Bios ID: 1.60

It does have support for AMD-V as it was confirmed by Microsoft's H.A.V. tool, I also have confirmed it other ways by using other tools by using securable listed here, like I would like the ability to have turn on this option on because it does not have options the bios option even with it having support for this it does not it's really frustrating since I use VMs for developing software and testing sites that I create.

The main thing I would need in this bios mod is to have the AMD-V option in the options. This will allow me to continue developing without all the extra hassle of hardware hacks or using bypasses with possible viruses just to allow me to develop my apps and sites.

Lenovo G570... slight twist, windows 8 on a USB hard drive.

So I'm turning my g570 into a hackintosh, but first, I cloned my OS drive to an external HDD I have. I can boot into safemode still and do what I need, but I'm not sure how to flash a new bios.

I have windows 8 64 bit running. Where do I start? What do you all need from me in order to get my bios to have no whitelist anymore?

Flashing Asrock ION 330 bios

Hello, I am trying to update my bios.
Both original 1.6 version form Asrock and a custom version don't work.

When trying to flash I get the error "No bios file found' from my USB device.

Any suggestions?

Hello Everyone,

This Forum has been of great help, since it gave me some orientation on what to do, although at the moment I have tried everything with no luck... Sad

I would like to use the Intel 7260AC Wifi Adapter instead of the Intel 2230 in my Lenovo ideaPad U510. The BIOS of this model is from Insyde.

The label of the original 2230 card says: WFM 6036DD570247
PCI\ven_8086&dev_0888&subsys_42628086

7260AC card says: WFM 0C8BFD8E186D
Can't find a way to see the VEN/DEV/SUBSYS of the 7260AC Card since it wont let me boot with the card on.

I took a backup of the BIOS from my Lenovo U510 (LENOVO-6FCN30WW(V1.06).

I am a acer aspire 3750g user and i wish to have my bios unlocked for Advanced tab and hidden setting.

Can some professional bios modder out there help me out?

It is an Insyde bios. version 1.13 from official acer website.

I do noticed that the 7zip packages are being password locked. So these are those files.

Hello, I have ASUS N73SV laptop, it doesn't support new Windows 8 ACPI system, because of BIOS.
Also, there is ASUS N73SM version, which has Windows 8 support.

It is possible to add to N73SV's BIOS missing components to support Windows 8?

I have searched these forums and have flashed this bios ... btw this workes great loads more options than the the HP one Big Grin
