Hi, could you please update support for C2D E6420 (SLA4T), when i put BIOS in MCExtractor there is microcode for SLA4T (06F6) but not latest

and if chipset (945P) support E5400 (SLGTK) or E7500 (SLGTE) please add this also

now im using Celeron D 830 (SL88S)

Howdy,

If someone can unlock the voltage and thermal ceilings or at least test out modifying the bios with AMI bios tool.
I tried once and it killed my bios chip. Had to fix it in shop.
I may have messed up by not naming the bios file correctly or there is some hash check that I messed up.

Hey Guys,
I want to unlock my BIOS from a Lenovo y580. I ahve currently the BIOS version (Bios 5DCN40WW(V2.07)) on my Notebook.

I did a BackUp  of my BIOS with "Universal Bios Backup Toolkit 2.0"
and I already tried "[Y580][Y480]-'unlocked_BIOS'_660mGHzEdition_WhitelistMod" for Insyde 2.07 but i got the Error "The version of Rom File isnt newer than BIOS version"..

My Achievement is to change the HotPlug settings in the BIOS for my EGPU which is a MSi NVidia GTX 1060 X 6GB.

Hope you can help me!

Make PLL FSB overclock permanent?

My Optiplex 755 is overclocked to 1600MHz FSB, which grants 3.2Ghz on Core 2 Quad Q9400.

I have to put system in sleep or live restart to keep overclock. How do I make it permanent without modifying the CPU?

PLL pin mod?

Wrong CPU temperature on P5K-EPU with Xeon 5460

Hi all,

Fisrt, sorry for my english... Blush

I have modified the last bios for my motherboard Asus P5K-EPU (604) with MMTool to add microcode xeon 45nm, my Xeon 5460 works correctly but the temperatures recorded by the bios are incorrect : +15/20°C more than reality, my fans turn too fast and my pc makes a plane noise...

I searched the forum and I have try with MMTool, AMIBCP and RWEverything to corrected that but despite my many research I can't find a way to correct this.

Original Bios :
.rom   P5K-EPU-0604.ROM (Size: 1 MB / Downloads: 0)

Bios 604 modified with MMTool (without AHCI) :
.rom   P5K-EPU-0604-XEON-45NM.rom (Size: 1 MB / Downloads: 0)

My question: how to fix that ?

MSI Z170A PC MATE + Xeon E3-1240 V5

Welcome,

I modded BIOS (non k oc ver. A91) to boot Xeon with me_cleaner by corna:

When I flash rom after executing me_cleaner it works with my Pentium Skylake without any problems. 
When I use Xeon E3-1240 v5 bios resetting to default on every boot -> xeon_error.jpg.

The VGA LED of EZ Debug turns on for 3 second with Xeon during startup.

Xeon booted with ME 11.0.2.1003 and clean 11.0.1.1001 with me_cleaner executed with small letter s option (-s) 
The problem with bios reset only occurs with Xeon.
1. Is the problem occur due to the lack of a built in CPU graphics card? Huh 
2. Is there a way to stop the bios reset on every boot?   Idea

HP Compaq 6720s intel vbios update from Compaq 6910p

Hello!
Hopefully someone will be kind enough to help me out..

I encounter a strange problem with my HP Compaq 6720s gpu (vbios 1471). If I open the laptop and let it boot normally, after windows 7 loads the video driver, I get a freeze and immediately a BSOD BUT if I open the laptop and then I enter in bios setup, then exit without save and let it boot, the laptop and gpu works normally (tested in games).
What I want is to extract somehow the updated vbios from Compaq 6910p bios (has same chipset) (vbios 1668) and patch it to my actual bios, hopefully it will fix my problem.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

have a acer aspire m3910 was running all stock parts. now running 16gb ddr3 1333mhz a intel xeon x3460 a gtx970 and a corsair 700w psu along with a 256gb ssd paired with a 1tb hdd for storage. looking to play around with overclocking for the cpu but the bios is locked. currently running the latest bios update P01-A4. Can this be modded please?

Well met! The chipset is the NVIDIA GeForce 7025 / nForce 630a which came out after MCP61/nForce 520. My current bios is AMI with 0501 in the upper right hand corner, and v02.61 in the bottom left corner.  The latest bios upgrade I can get from ASUS's website is 1001. http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/sock...S-1001.zip

I don't have the knowledge to do the mod myself, but I'm pretty confident I can install it with a USB flash drive easily.  I never knew until recently that the mobo had no AHCI option.  I'm too poor to get a new mobo, but I'm upgrading my failing 5400rpm hdd which was causing major performance issues to a cheap Adata SU800 SSD. So It would be preferable to get AHCI working by any means necessary. Thank you for you time. I appreciate any help I can get.

Yes i do.

Hello,

I'm having an issue with my BIOS. The windows boot properly but the boot logo and the POST messages are gone, and been replaced by a black screen. Whenever i'm trying to access BIOS by pressing F2 the screen freezes and nothing is showing up, only the black screen and windows does not boot up. My guess is that the BIOS is corrupted and I did some reading in this forum trying to recover it, without any luck though.

I am running the latest BIOS version 2.28 Insyde

Can someone please help me recover my BIOS?

Hello, im new to this form and i would like to know if i can disable my IGPU on the Acer predator helios 300 G3-572-73SF.

Since i am currently working on an hackintosh build on my laptop, i want to disable the IGPU so i can use the Nvidia gpu. i found a video with some one showing his unlocked bios on a acer predator Video link. is this also possible with my laptop?
