Hello everyone,

What a great forum. I am in the situation where I need to use AES-NI for a project and recently I realized that even when my CPU supports it, Samsung decided to disable it on the NP700Z5C-S02UB.

I hope you can help me on this one. Here is my BIOS rom (extracted with Universal BIOS Backup Toolkit)

Thank you!

Hi,

I have an HP Pavilion g6 D4M81EA#AB8 with BIOS InsydeH20 F.23 ver. 27.12.2017
SMBIOS version 2.7
Embedded Controller V. 56.50
BIOS Mod UEFI
x64 based pc

I need to access advanced BIOS to

Load Optimized Defaults.
CPU supports VT-d: disable it.
CFG-Lock: disable it.
Secure Boot Mode: disable it.
Set OS Type to Other OSIO SerialPort: disable it.
Set XHCI Handoff to Enabled.
6 series or x58 system with AWARD BIOS: disable USB 3.0.

(Sorry that I could not find the link for the BIOS, I'd do it if you tell me how)

If you need any more info for unlocking, I am here.
Thanks a lot.

Acer M1201 AM3 Support...?

I used the available tools in the modding tools section and used the microcodes sections for a Acer Aspire E3410 am3 motherboard which supports up to phenom II x6 and reorganized them according to the table in the Acer Aspire M1201 Bios and reflashed it with success and have had six reboots with computer running six hours everything is stable. As of now no issues and i can see the microcode patch in the bios displaying a value now as before it didnt i didnt simply add microcodes either i had to update the older ones as they where exact same module name and some of them newer dates of revision.... I dumped the bios again after flashing to confirm that i had the microcodes in the bios and it didnt revert back to default values etc as i was worried alot of people didnt have a forum for this pc but everything seems to be ok i have yet to test an AM3 CPU as im waiting for one to arrive that i ordered but anyone who has the same pc i wanted to make this available as i was searching a long time and never figured out a solution but heres the updated and original bios with the original file name to match the rom id i wouldnt change it as i had issues flashing with a different rom filename something to do with it being an acer machine i suppose. The modified bios is the first Rom file the enclosed folder contains the original bios and update tools youll need to do the update ... ill update as i upgrade this old motherboard as im getting new psu also but with this chip being removable and having a spare on the way ill be attempting alot more with this specific motherboard in the upcoming months if anyone is interested. Thanks hope this is useful if its in wrong section im new here feel free to move me to the right place lol....

Hi,  I found out that my AMI BIOS is an insyde BIOS. I have bought a new HP Envy x360 15-bq108ca with a Ryzen 5 2500U CPU. I only need IOMMU ( AMD-Vi ) & RVI if there is an option. I'm not sure if these would be under advanced tab in the BIOS. I will pay for working IOMMU BIOS on my laptop.

My BIOS firmware is as follows: AMI F.13, 2017-11-10

You may get a link for the bios here: Main Driver Page
or a direct link: Direct Link

Also, I dumped my bios.rom using a utility. Here is a link for it: Bios.rom

Thanks! I hope that you can help =)

Good day.
Is there an option to modify the bios to the MSI B250i PRO to have the same settings as the MSI B250i GAMING PRO?

Both plates look identical.

Hello all, I just joined the community and I would like to add a picture to my avatar for when I post. How do I change that? I cannot find any link to change the pic, its just a blank grey pic on the right of the screen on my profile page.   Also, where do I or can I add my signature?
Thank you for your time.
