Can I install CPU the Intel Core2 Quad Q9100 on HP dv7-1160er laptop?

After installing the processor  Q9100, the laptop does not start.

HP Pro 3000 small form factor lga 775
Current working processor that is in it right now is a core 2 quad q8200
This board supports DDR3 1333 up to 8GB of ram (is there a way to add support for more GB of ram or a faster ram speed perhaps)

Hi,

i need the advanced tab to access Peg Generation please, the original advanced tab is crippled down (amibcp shows 2).
However, when changing in 0100122700001E00050001 - > 0500122700001E00050001 in FE612B72-203C-47B1-8560-A66D946EB371 (AMITSESetupData) the forms pci subsystem and global accoustic show up, ifr extractor sadly doesnt even show em.

[Request] Acer 5740g Microcode update

Hello,
I'm wanting to upgrade my processor from an i3 330m (CPUID 20652) to a i7 620m (CPUID 20652) or i5 580M (CPUID 20655)
but I am unsure if the BIOS is already equipped with the needed microcode.
I am using this already modified BIOS for unhidden menus and GPU overclock.
Is it possible to have the latest microcode for 20652 and 20655? (seems it may be a tight fit)
and this will allow me to use all 3, correct? 

Also could the process be explained to me? CBROM195 hangs upon processing and I failed at hex editing (a million errors upon attempting DOS flashing, so I aborted before the flash) I would love to be able to help others.

On a side note there seems to be duplicate microcode entries in the original unmodified BIOS, is this normal?

Modded BIOS (menu unlock + GPU overclock)

Any help is greatly appreciated !

Hi!
The issue is: I can't make my NVMe SSD (Samsung mzvpv256hdgl) bootable. I tried to unlock BIOS, but got an error below.
Could you please unlock my BIOS and give me the cue what options should I change so that I can boot from this SSD?

Gigabyte B85M-D2V - Advanced Menus -can't unlock

Hi,

I have the Gigabyte B85M-D2V board and I tried unlocking options via AMIBCP but when I try to save the BIOS file the program crahses. I am running Windows 10 latest updates. Should I try Windows 7  or there is something wrong with the image ? Can please somebody check it ?

hi, can you get my whitelist removed please  Big Grin 
I'm using external graphics card though my wifi mpcie port although it won't boot up or it would just have a black screen after they're both turned on.
I also tried using diy egpu setup 1.35 but it still doesn't work, it only gives me bosd on boot up.
I've also tried removing the whitelist by myself using this  (https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide...al.187340/) but still no luck that it worked.
