Hi,

Recently I bought a HP Compaq 6200 Pro SFF and put a GTX 1050ti LP in it. 
Since I wasn't sure the power supply could handle the power draw I replaced it with a more powerfull one.
The motherboard uses proprietary connections to connect to the psu but with some repinning of these connections to a 24 pin it worked.
Everything is up and running and it works great but everytime I boot the PC i get an error "515-Power Supply fan not detected" and have to press F1 to continue. There is no option in the BIOS itself to disable this error message. Is it however possible to delete this safetycheck from the BIOS and flash the edited BIOS? 
I am currently using BIOS version 02.29 Rev.A (I think it is an AMI BIOS but I'm not sure.)

Hi

Attached bios with microcodes for XEON X3323.

Work perfect on DELL Optiplex XE SSF.

CPU:
Xeon X3323
SLBC5 2,5GHZ/6M/1333

Solves:
1. No bios message "Unsupported CPU" anymore.
2. Fan silent.
3. Win10 works normal, detects CPU with all cores.

Solved: Asus P5P43TD Bios with XEON Microcodes

Hello everybody,
i try to upgrade my Asus P5P43TD Motherboard from Q9300 to XEON E5450.
I just have a Mod-Bios (see in Link) for this Motherboard with SLIC 2.1 but without the XEON Microcodes.

Does have anyone of you a 0511 Bios with Slic 2.1 and XEON Microcodes for the Asus P5P43TD Motherboard?


Or can someone paste the microcodes into this bios?

sp79678 - Whitelist removal

I have installed it on my laptop HP Pavilion 15-ab516tx
Originally laptop is shipped with "Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11b/g/n 1x1 Wi-Fi + BT4.0 Combo Adapter P/N 792610-005"

I want to upgrade my wlan card to Intel 3165 open market model, without HP part number in it.

I am not sure if whitelist at all exists in this bios or not as the bios is updated recently "Apr 7, 2017"

I dont want to buy the card and discover that it doesnot work, rather if someone expert in bios can tell white list exists or not I will be very thanksful.
Also if whitelist exists, and a mod-ed bios can be provided by someone, I will be very thanksful.

Hope to listen from someone soon on this thread.

Please, why does no one answer? At least please tell me why. I have found that some mods for my BIOS version were actually done on this very website, but the links no longer work. Can't no one mod this BIOS? (3.10 for Lenovo G770) ..

I had a bios a couple of years ago where I can use my WLAN card and WWAN card. This bios was from 2011. Now I wanted to install the acutelle from the side. Unfortunately comes now at the start of the message that I may not use WLAN and WWAN cards in the device. Then I patched the bios with the "phnxpatch" it was also patched the "BIOSCOD06.ROM". Unfortunately, the BIOS still does not work, there is still the message that the cards are

Ich hatte mir vor ein Paar Jahren ein Bios aufgespielt wo mit ich meine WLAN Karte und WWAN Karte benutzen kann. Diese Bios war von 2011. Jetzt wollte ich mir das akutelle von der Seite installieren. Leider kommt jetzt beim starten die Meldung das ich WLAN und WWAN Karten nicht in dem Gerät benutzen darf. Darauf hin habe ich das Bios gepatcht mit dem "phnxpatch" es wurde auch die "BIOSCOD06.ROM" gepatch. Leider funktioniert das BIOS trotzdem nicht, es kommt immer noch die Meldung das die Karten nicht benutzt werden dürfen.

Lenovo Y50-70 efi entries obsolete

hi, I am new to the bios/uefi world.
My laptop stopped recognizing usb as boot device. then i messed up the efi partitions trying to fix the usb entry.
fortunately i had installed linux and was able to boot  using grub2. is there any way to fix the uefi boot entries?
i've tried reflashing the bios update from lenovo but it just restarts the pc and does not flash anything.
and efibootmgr in linux throws errors (efivar installed and efivars mounted rw) 

Thanks for taking your time to read my post. I'd appreciate any suggestions

Hello, I'm running BIOS P5 http://download.msi.com/bos_exe/7885vP5.zip  and can't for the life of me get this Xeon E5 2666-v3 ES (QFSC) running on it. I dont have another 2011-3 board to test on, not sure how you do the microcode thing. any assistance would be appreciated

Hi,
I recently acquired the Asus P5QL Pro motherboard to build an arcade machine. What I want is modify the bios to remove the intel logo and the "Press TAB to access POST Message...". To have a clean interface. With the ASUS MyLogo program I successfully changed the image, but there is an intel logo and the "TAB" message are still there. How can I remove them? In which format are stored BIOS Images?
