Its a SONY VAIO PCV-W2 Laptop/Desktop with TV Tuner and stuff.
(P4, 2,8GHz Northwood, Socket 478 - Shared Memory Graphics Card SIS 315 with 32mb RAM)

There is no BIOS update so I dumped it using Universal BIOS toolkit.

I can see voltages in the BIOS, but there isnt much to do at all.

Looking for additonal options and menus to be unlocked.

Hi guys,

I've got a MS-7728 motherboard that only supports Sandy Bridge CPUs. According to Intel, the chipset on the board is supposed to support Ivy with a bios update but Medion (the OEM) never released one.

Is it possible to add Ivy Bridge support to this bios?

I'm trying to get an Intel i5-3550 installed. At the moment, the board powers up for a few seconds and then back off. This continues constantly until the power is removed.

i have the latest bios f.38

there is no advanced menu because of that i cant fasten my cpu multiplier

on battery cpu multiplier stuck at x5.5 with charger cpu multiplier x11

please mod f.38 bios

1. Basically I want to use the Windows 7 serial that came with my HP Elitebook on the desktop. The HP laptop is now running Windows Enterprise that's provided by work.

I've attempted to use Phoenix tool 2.66 however after injecting the SLIC 2.1 mod (in auto mode) even using the rw report it creates an exe that is 5KB smaller than the original BIOS, and gives a "payload error" message when trying to flash in Windows/DOS.  Probably some kind of CRC or file size check, not sure how to circumvent it myself.  Any takers?

I would really appreciate if somebody can unlock my bios and remove the whitelist so i can use my new wifi card.
I backed it up with Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0.

Is there any way to modify my bios to accept a different cpu of the same architecture just a faster cpu. I'm trying to use an AMD A10 5750M processor but my laptop won't post when booted up, the main power light comes on and the hdd light flashes once and then no response from the system and I have to do a hard shut down to power off the system. Hi,

I have strange problem with this HP. I removed WWAN card but still have error on startup - wwan module id (703) and there is no way to continue. 
I have same error when WWAN card is installed. 

Here is original dump readed in programmer. Is it possible to remove whitelist ?

Hi, i want to install a Mini-Pci-E cable for use it for an external GPU ( EXP GDC Beast) and when i try to run the laptop black screen apears and wont boot, it seems to be  withelisted the M-PCI-E port my laptop its a HP Pavilion DV5 2045la and this is the bios i want to mod
