P870DM2/3 Bios Unlock Request

I would like to unlock all advanced settings contained in this bios. However most importantly I would like access to the hidden advanced menus for Thunderbolt. This would allow me to have better control over future TB3 eGPU enclosures and future upgrades. Would be more than happy to donate! Smile

Hi everyone

does anyone have the bios for the HP IQ522es that will support ACPI function in BIOS. I am trying to install win10 but i get an error from windows 10 that acpi is not enabled or board is not compatible. 

Any help would be much appreciated

Alienware 15 r1 with intel i74710hq and intel HM87 Lynx point and 4k screen  .  

Currently running Bios A06 AMI bios  .
Dudu2002 tried to help me so far , but not sure if we got to a solution yet so I ask other if have a solution .
Need DVMT value to 128mb so MAC os runs properly .

Currently running Bios A06 AMI bios :BIOS Date: 07/24/2015 16:06:32 Ver: Test019 .

Clevo M720T Bios update necessary?

Booting stops with message "0271:check Date and time settings. 0251: System CMOS checksum bad - default configuration used" when I press F1 booting continues. Changing time-settings in bios doesn't help, notebook forgets when I shut down.
I've changed CMOS-battery, same message.
BIOS is Phoenix 1.02.22, Clevo sent me 1.02.28 (see attachment)

Now I need some advice, no experience in updating bios so far.

Should I update?
If yes, which procedure? I haven't got a .rom or.bin-file to put on a thumbdrive. Did Clevo forget to send me the bios?

Hi all, this is my first post in this forum
i had read some posts from other people about this notebook, but I don't understand lot of thinks.
First of all, my notebook is an acer aspire e1-572, 54204g50Mnkk
I flashed the original 2.17 bios version some time ago

I would love to unlock the "advanced" option in the bios menu, i really want to change the value of the dinamic video memory of the integrated graphic card.

I have to ask:
Is it dangerous to flash a modded bios? Can i brick my notebook?
If somethink goes wrong, will i be able to recover my notebook?

Tell me what to do, i know i'm not a genius with this thinks, please be patient with me  Tongue

[Request] Alienware Aurora R4 + Ivy Bridge-E ES

Hi. We're trying to get the chip below (QE2T) to run on the Alienware Aurora R4 running on A11 bios.

We've also tried the following Ivy Bridge-E ES processors: QE83 (i7-4960X) and QE5F (E5-2680v2), and they don't work.
Ivy Bridge-E QS and retail processors work just fine though.

The said Ivy Bridge-E ES processors including the QE2T (E5-2687Wv2) work just fine on the Asus Z9PE-D8 WS.
I noticed the ES processors all have the same microcode update revision: 20D.

How can we get these Ivy Bridge-E engineering samples to work on the Alienware Aurora R4?
Is it as simple as adding some microcode to the bios?
The image below shows the microcodes contained on both the Asus and Alienware motherboards mentioned.

Toshiba Tecra A11 Bootlogo will not change

Hi there,

I got a BIOS Dump from my Tecra A11 and tried to replace the boot splash named PADDING_3.ROM
If I change it, Phoenixtool says that the replacement padding must be the same size... I do not know why... Any ideas?

Added the dump from universal bios backup tool - at the dump it show BIOS: other / ACPI 1.0

Any chance to get the original splashscreen back on it?

Got the notebook from work - old one, but this "branding" sucks hard...

I don't have access to ME block so I have only 6 MB dump of BIOS region of 8MB total including 2MB ME Block.

And only latest version of RW Everything Report 1.6.9 could read this new notebook's ACPI tables.



So this zip file have afuwin.rom and AcpiTbls.rw

First I tried phoenixtool 2.66 other module method without rw report and it didn't work (Notebook works but have no effect and no oem signature). And AcpiTbls.rw is incorrect. Making correct SLIC 2.1 table is difficult for me.

If it was skylake desktop motherboard I could do it myself. Please help me.

I have the MCP61PM-AM motherboard, and was looking for the modded bios files.  I've found all the files I need (abit unlocked, award flash, hp usb dos, win 98 disk) I just need to know the proper steps to flash.  And maybe some confirmation I've got the right files.

Any help is appreciated.

Please turn on intel vt in my bios lenovo g530

Hello

I've a problem since 4 years with lack of important option in Award bios of my Lenovo G530. It's a preety old computer, and I changed processor to T9400 which supports virtualization (previous didn't have this feature). But I can't turn on virtualization in Bios. I tried to switch on it through the Windows system, but some bits are blocked in bios. I haven't got enough knowledge to mod bios myself, and would likt to ask you friedns about help and support. Here is my non-modded bios http://download.lenovo.com/UserFiles/Dri...W(x64).exe
I need this like oxygen, because without intel vt can't run 64 bits systems via virtual box and to emulate Android in Android Studio. Please help me (4 years can't do this Wink).
