I did not find an unlock for my current bios version. Can you please help me unlock Bios settings on an Hp Pavilion g6-1c79nr? Laptop has Insyde version F.37 File name:sp61005.exe Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit). I'm looking to change IDE/AHCI settings. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have an Acer Aspire AM3470G, running American Megatrends Inc. BIOS version (obtained through CPUID) P01-A4. Could someone unlock this please? Or, has it already been unlocked and I just am too dumb to find it on my own? New to overclocking but not to tech and hardware, so I understand most terminology. Please let me know if you need any new info. Attached below is a copy of the BIOS rom

Hello,

I saw the thread written about the BIOS mod for the same computer and downloaded that bios mod and tried running it off a usb drive with your instructions but it will not launch saying it needs the bios.wph to continue. I put the phlash16 file and that onto the usb. Any advice on why this wont work. I need the extra options, specifically the option to disable speedstep technology. Any hel would be greatly appreciated.

The are 3 or 4 versions out there already, but I couldn't get any of them to work.

I am in dire need of this bios mod, as I am trying to enable features to make this laptop a Hackintosh.

Hello all.
I recently flashed acer aspire 5735Z bios to modded 1.10 and all is well.
My small mind thought that if i do this from 1.07 then my laptop will use all 4gig of ram i just installed but it still shows only 2.9 usable in system properties.
System is 64 bit win 7 pro.
Any thoughts

Need help adding A8 support with a Toshiba L775D

I have purchased the APU, and spent the last month trying to get the .ROM files to upgrade the APU support strings.

Unfortunately, they ONLY come in a self installer package that runs in Windows or writes a CD/DVD. I don't have any blank discs, so I don't know if that would give me the .ROM files I need.

So, here's the breakdown.

I am wanting to use an A8-3510MX on a Toshiba Satellite L775D-S7220 (US model laptop).

If I can get help with getting the ROM files and then repackaging them into the installer, that would be awesome.

Or if someone is able to do it, that would be better. I've never done this before....so yea.

howto change UUID and Serial number

Dear All,

could someone point out how to change the UUID and serial number of a lenovo b590 bios?

a friend of mine owns multiple of the same notebooks and flashed all with a whitelist removed bios. this has set all the uuid's to the same and has set the serial numbers to the same.

the case is that the notebooks should function in a active directory envoirment and should be installed using WDS. this is impossible using the same UUID's.

any help would be greatly apreciated!!!!

Hello, I have a HP Pavillion DV6-3080br and I need the BIOS advanced menu unlocked, specifically to disable the integrated graphic card radeon 4250m to be possible get full QE/CI on discrete radeon 5650m on mountain lion.
I saw the BIOS is RSA signed, but here some peoples say that be possible.
So any help would be appreciated and I will donate for a hard work!
