Sovem , you already did it for someone, I hope you could help me to remove the whitelist
Also I am very interested in learning it so that I can help someone in the future Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
thanks
Would it be complicated to explain what for a programme the person uses who will fix that? for Gaming 7 i saw already a version, but i fear to use versions, who are not 100% compatible.

[REQUEST] Lenovo IdeaPad S300 whitelist removal -Manufacturer: Lenovo -Model: IdeaPad S300 -Latest Bios Revision: 6DCN20WW(V1.08) -Bios link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B228xRh...sp=sharing
Please do pm me the instructions and tools for flashing back the modded bios.
I will appreciate it.
I have an old ThinkCentre desktop with (what I guess is) a custom Lenovo motherboard and bios.
Currently it has an E2140 that I was planning to upgrade to an E5200. I've popped the processor in, the system started up, I was happy! But then it got stuck at the full-screen logo and I was no longer happy.
Some research led me to believe that the newer CPU microcode isn't supported as this particular CPU model was released after the latest BIOS update for the board.
Can you please mod this bios for me so that I can do my upgrade? Thank you in advance!
I have a T430s and an X230. I need both of them whitelist check disabled, to insert ac wifi cards (say AR9880 or Intel 7260).
For X230, with the help of BDMaster, ucupsz and rst1024, the flashing was a successful and I'm greeting from it with Intel 7260. Thank you all for your superb works.
For those ones who are new about whitelist removal a/o hardware programming, here are your resources written by them:
Now it is time for the T430s issues.
T430s is heavily different from X230 and T430: it has a 128Mb WSON-8 chip, and the Whitelist module (79E0EDD7 one, attached together with x230 one) has different code logic from them.
I modded it like this (dk if it could work, I have little experience in cracking):
.text:0000000000000BCE jnz loc_C7A (check for next loop or fail if 0x06 is encountered)
to
.text:0000000000000BCE jmp short loc_C03 (successfully matched an entry and break the loop)
E.g.
0000000000000BCE 0F 85 A6 00 00 00 0F B7 4C 1A 06 0F B7 44 1A 04
to
0000000000000BCE EB 33 A6 00 00 00 0F B7 4C 1A 06 0F B7 44 1A 04 (A6 00 00 00 are junk but should not being executed Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view. )
Next I need some advices on flashing.
The wson chip is shown in the image and the clip will not work. I'm a newbie for soldering so my friends suggest me to jump wires from the yellow points (named test point?).
Also I'm not sure if the power from programmer will be enough or the GbE power trick will work on T430s. I know nothing about hardware...

BTW, I have some questions about weird (?) behavior of BIOS. ~2 years ago, I tried to modify the whitelist module in the official downloaded bios (g2ujxxus.exe or so) and successfully flashed it. However it did not work: the memory dumped one created from tools (e.g. biosbakk_64.rom) is not using the modified whitelist module (the sequence number of the module is 2207/8 vs 2239).
This time I read the 32M chip using the programmer and proved it is successfully flashed. According to the BDMaster and ucupsz, we should use the memory dumped one and cut it to 4MB for flashing. I did like this and succeeded.
I'm wondering why this happens and where is the unmodified bios from (If I remembered correctly , it changes when I flash different version of the official bios).
Thanks in advance, any help is greatly appreciated. Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.

Hello, i have an hp g62-b82ep, that i flashed a modded bios (this one).
This bios is known to semibrick, i wasnt aware of it, so i flashed it.
It's ok, recover would fix it.. But i can't do it. I must be doing something wrong.
When i remove the CMOS battery this happen.
Ive tried to create HP_TOOLS partition on an usb, on the hard drive it self.
It's a signed bios so im using phoenix to decrypt it and im placing the bios in x:\HEWLETT-PACKARD\BIOS\Current as its supposed. Tried 2 versions of the bios. F.35 Rev. A and F.48(same version as the modded one). I've used the hp tool to create the usb/hdd, the label is named HP_TOOLS but i can't get it to boot the recovery tool. I'm using Win + B combination, also tried the 4 arrows. Nothing. What am i doing wrong? If it were an hardware issue, i shouldn't get the CMOS Checksum Error when i remove the battery, right? If someone could help i would be thankful, and if i get it to work i will pay for the time wasted with me! Thanks
Hi. Not sure if this is the right place to ask but is there anyone can help me insert my uuid and mac address back into this bios? Accidentally wipe all my laptop's board info when I flash with AFUWIN. FD44Editor doesnt accept my bios file... This bios is dump with FPT and it's only the bios region. ME is locked.
Can't use my onboard Realtek PCIE Gbe lan.. Code 10 in Device Manager, because there is no MAC address for it. I checked with Realtek's RSET8168 dos tool.
Tried amidedos but I can only insert my Serial Number. UUID does not survived a reboot. And nowhere to insert my MAC address..
I have an HP d530 convertible mini-tower with a Pentium 4 Extreme Edition 3.2ghz installed. The system works, just throws a "Microcode update error" during POST and I need to hit F1 to continue each time, which is an annoyance. This is a 786B2 motherboard and I cannot cross-flash this one to the equivalent Asus (?) motherboard like certain d530 models allow.
I have added the correct microcode for my processor by replacing another unneeded section of microcode in the ROM.bin file with a hex editor, but I'm not sure how to flash the BIOS now since the ROM.cab file seems to have a .sig file signing the ROM.bin file. The DOS flasher seems to use a different file entirely which is smaller than the 512kb BIN file. I'm not sure if I would be able to flash the modified ROM.bin file using the DOS flasher in this case.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Can the HPQFlash.exe Windows flasher be modified to ignore invalid signatures and flash anyway, or can the modified ROM.bin be signed and placed in a new CAB file for HPQFlash to use? Is there an alternate flasher I could use?
