Hi Everyone, 

I'm requesting your help in removing the whitelist off my Bios. 

I have tried using the Universal Bios backup tool without success. I got a rar file out of it:

Laptop came with an Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300.

Time to stop haunting the forums and just ask for help.

Sony Vaio sfv14n13cxb with insydeh2o bios
Motherboard replaced by Sony under warranty but didn't fix the problem. Sony released a bios update that specifically addressees the issues I have. The problem is that I cannot update the bios. After lots of reading and searching and dumping and editing platform.ini files I have discovered that the upgrade fails because of missing version and serial number strings in the baseboard and chassis sections of the smbios. I discovered a post with a similar problem here.

I would like to know how to write this information into the smbios so I can update it. Also, any information regarding Sony's bios recovery procedure for this machine would be appreciated.

Hello, I bought a Intel AC 7265 and was excited but just found out that there is something called whitelist and doesn't let me boot.

NEED CLEAN IMAGE DUMP FOR ASUS T100TAF

All-

I unlocked my bios, flashed it with success, and then played with the newly unlocked settings. This has bricked my tablet. I've soldered in a flashcatusb programmer, and have successfully dumped the contents of the winbond chip several times, but i cannot get a reflash to successfully take. I located the offset of the bios in the full dump, 0x0300000 and pasted in a copy of a fresh bios minus the top descriptor region from asus website but this did not work.

i believe a full 8mb dump of the flash from the same tablet would allow me to boot and get back in order but i cannot find an image. can anyone who has this tablet help me out, and use the AMI flash tool (NOT ASUS OR ANYTHING ELSE) to grab a full dump of their bios and send it to me? i would be in your debt.

Request whiteliste removal, so I can use any PCI-E parts and please give me the option to disable onboard gpu in the bios. So I can use the eGPU that connected in the wifi slot.

Tried sp54077_AdvMenu_ByCamiloml and sp54077_NWL_ByCamiloml but they caused black screen after boot.

Hi, when i open my bios with phoenix bios editor, under advanced menu there is an option called advanced chipset control, but when i go to the bios, the option isn't there. I would like to know, if it it possible to mod the bios, so the option would show there.

Hello,

Could someone please help me with a modified BIOS that can remove the Wireless Card Whitelist?

My laptop is a Lenovo T420 with the Product ID 4180-PR9

It has the latest 1.48 BIOS version installed which can be downloaded here:

According to Microsoft System Information, these are the details of my Laptop's BIOS:

I hope there is someone who would help me!
I have a Lenovo G580(2189) and need to remove the whitelist to install a Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 Network Adapter.
I am totally new on this Area, so it would be very nice if someone could help me.

This is my Model:

Name: Lenovo G580
Manufacturer: Lenovo
Model: 2189
BIOS: 5ECN96WW (V9.01)

I will uploaded my Bios Backup using Universal Bios Backup but i'm not sure if it's the right tool I downloaded?
I packed the rom in a zip-archive. Can you see if it's ok?
