Hi !

I have an elitebook 8560p with the BIOS F.61 version installed
that you can find here (sp72496.exe)

The original WLAN card is an Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 (62205ANHMW)
I bought a BCM94322HM8L for my Hackintosh (10.10) but I have a 702 error when I plug my new card.

Can something be done ?

I'm maybe a little paranoid, but if the flash fails can I go back to my stock BIOS ?

Hi guys,
I am proud owner of Lenovo Y500, anyway I've just bought Intel AC-7260 Wi-Fi card. Can you please help me how to remove the whitelist from my BIOS? I would be thankful for instructions as well, cause I am a complete noobie in BIOS editing.

I currently have a Lenovo D20 Thinkstation 4158 (dual socket Xeon) with a Phoenix Trusted Core BIOS. I would really like the ability to overclock this board in order to get more performance out of my X5690 processors. I have searched the internet and it appears this has yet to be accomplished. If anyone is able to modify my BIOS to give me the ability to increase my clockspeeds i'm willing to compensate them for their time $$. Here is a link to the BIOS from Lenovo's website:

Can somebody please help me with my bios. I searched everywhere and couldn't find anything.

Manufacturer: Arçelik(Produced in China assembled in uk sold in turkey  Sad )

Original bios file or updates are not available anywhere. So i only have file extracted from Universal Bios Backup
I tried donovan6000's insyde unlock tutorials but i couldn't understand it fully.

Unlock Hidden Options for X1 Carbon (2015)

Hi,

the 5200U CPU could be pretty strong if it wouldn't be throttled upt to the half of its performance all the time. It would be really nice if someone could unlock the hidden settings of in the bios.
I don't know whether it is possible to increase the TDP limit that way but I would be really happy if this is possible. At least undervolting via bios would be nice instead of using XTU. Thanks!

BIOS mod to support PCIe 3.0

I have an older computer running 3.2Ghz AMD 64x dual core, 4gb DDR2 ram, and a 240GB SSD. The model of the PC is a Shuttle XPC SK22G2 with motherboard FX22 v1.3. I've upgraded everything to the maximum except the GPU. I picked up a couple small form factor PCIe 3.0 cards, one nVidia GeForce 745 and one AMD R7 260. Neither can be detected on my PC. Official bios updates are out of the question. It is my understanding that PCIe versions require different power ratings and mine is either PCIe 1.0 or 1.1. My power supply is 300W which should be enough to run these low profile cards however.

I guess my first question, is it theoretically possible for someone with the right skills to modify the BIOS to accept these newer cards? I know the optimal solution is just to buy a new system blah blah, I understand, but I'd rather not do that at this time. 

I would be willing to commission someone privately to help me do this, I am quite knowledgeable and familiar about computers so I could follow instructions to help me do it myself as well. I just know how sensitive modding BIOS chips can be and the high risk of “bricking” my PC by doing so, therefore I seek guidance.
