Foxcon AM2 cpu support upgrade.
I have a A690GM2MA-8KRS2H that only seems to support the first gen single and dual core am2 cpu's. I have tried adding cpu patch information with mmtools with no results.
The current bios has four CPURev id's
1040
1041
1062
1043
I'm not sure what codes need to be added to add support for the AMD Athlon II x2 240 i have. I have tried exporting the codes from a A6GMV board and adding them to mine. There is only room to add two codes at a shot.
I'm not sure if anybody can help me with this or explain what i'm doing wrong here.
The boards have the same chipsets. Here are the links for the boards

[Request] Asus R510LB (X550LB motherboard) BIOS unlock
Hi there,
I have Asus R510LB (X550LB motherboard). Recently Iv'e bought a new Intel SDD (535) for the laptop, but WIN10, WIN8.1 and Ubuntu installers don't detect the SSD for some reason.. Win7 is the only installer to detect the SSD..
The SSD working fine in two other PC's.
I think the problem is my laptop's BIOS - for some reason, there is no CSM/Secure boot/UEFI options in it... maybe because the laptop came with FreeDOS.
Can someone please unlock the BIOS for me?
this is the link for downloading the update file of the last version: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/X550...BAS403.zip
Thanks.

Request for bios mod for Asus M4A88TD-v evo/usb3 to disable all usb
I have been having a USB over current problem for a long time on off for the above mentioned board. I have done everything i could find on the net to no solution. I do not know if getting a modded BIOS with all onboard USB disabled will work but I am willing to give it a try because the "USB OVER CURRENT ERROR DETECTED SYSTEM SHUT DOWN IN 15 SECONDS" will not let me get to the bios nor windows. I just want to be able to use my pc . If this can work I plan to get USB expansion card to gain USB functionality back. I am new to this so help is appreciated.

OEM X58 RAM problem / unlock request
Since I've gone from 6 to 8GB RAM, I've been having problems with my motherboard. Every time I do a cold boot, Windows (10) hangs after a couple of minutes. When I restart, Windows is only using 6GB RAM (but CPU-Z still reports 8GB). After another restart, everything is back to normal, and it will stay like that till the next cold boot.
I believe this is my problem, but no one talks about Windows hanging. Still it seems the X58 is the only motherboard with this problem, so I'm going to guess it's also the cause of my problem. I don't think it's because of faulty RAM / slots because it only happens right after a cold boot.
To solve it, I need to change some values, but my OEM BIOS (Medion) doesn't let me. I only got the basic settings, and certainly no overclocking settings. Additionally, I also can't control my fans, so I hope to fix that as well. I could flash the generic X58 Platinum AMI BIOS,
So my questions:
- Is it possible to unlock this ROM or maybe add the functionality?
- Would flashing the generic (and more up to date) X58 Platinum BIOS be better? I don't want to brick my BIOS, but I've found some successful reports on forums with similar configurations. I can't seem to find my BIOS chip, so I'm afraid it's soldered, which makes it a lot more difficult to replace it.
- Maybe someone has experience with this particular problem?
I've added my current ROM and the results from 'BACKUP_Tools', but the latter gives an error. I've also added the latest official MSI ROM.
System Info:
========
MSI X58 Platinum (MS-7522)
i7 930
8GB RAM
Windows 10

In need of T9500 CPU Support
I have a Toshiba Satellite M505-4940. Yea, the [censored] box haha. But I also have a T9500 Core 2 Duo laying around. It physically fits, same socket as the horrible T4200 that came with it. Same P socket and 800 FSB. The chipset is a GL40. Not so great I know, but Ive seen other laptops with the GL40 chipset running the T9500, with a bios mod for cpu support. The Lenovo G550 is one example and Ive seen other Satellite Pros that have bios support from Toshiba themselves. The bios for mine is currently updated to the latest version (2010 - v.2.50) file name smg2v250.exe. http://support.toshiba.com/support/model...xt=2346345
Is anyone willing to force this bios to accept the T9500 or if its been done, point me in the right direction? Im selling my Z97 ASUS mobo and 4790K in my main system to upgrade to the Z170 setup later on this year, and I want this laptop to grunt some basic work, no over clocking needed.
