Hi everyone!

My neighbour is completely locked out of his Lenovo G550 laptop which has suddenly started asking for both a HDD and a Supervisor password. He doesn't know how this happened, although he has had relatives staying who might have been meddling! The Lenovo site states that he will simply have to fork out for a new mobo and HDD, which seems absolutely ridiculous. I was wondering if the 'Phoenix BIOS Recovery' method would remove the password for him? I realise there are probably risks but at this stage he doesn't have anything to lose.

Intel entry level server board SE7221BA1-E.
Oa2intel tool is not working
Though MM tool says slic is injected  the modified bios is not working.
It appears no one has tried to mod the BIOS.
Experts may  please help

Hello, I'm very new to BIOS stuff and have only a small amount of knowledge, however I have searched for a few hours for what I need and I'm pretty sure I have a good idea now.

I need a Wifi whitelist removal for my:

Lenovo 5DCN36WW (V2.03), 3/5/2012

I am trying to get my laptop to use my:
Asus AC-600 Wifi adapter (https://www.asus.com/us/Networking/USBAC51/)


After looking around online I found many hacks that work for the 5DCN40WW, however I have 36WW, will the 40WW work or do i specifically need a 36WW?

I'm requesting a BIOS unlock for the ACER ASPIRE E5-573G, so I can access Advanced Settings. My specs:
-Intel Core i5-5200U (support for Turbo Boost, one reason I need unlock, and another reason is the processor supports SpeedStep as well as VT-x, all features I need).
-Nvidia GeForce 940M (need to overclock this for games)
-8GB RAM
-8GB SSD+1TB Hybrid

Also, if possible, I'd like a ROM image for the BIOS, if you could grab it from the Insyde flashing utilities available to download here.

the above link shows wut I am facing now: I just bought a pci-e graphic card for my vostro 200 and apparently it isnt working.
I know I posted to a wrong section. But is there a way to modify the bios to add an option for displaying to pci-e slot? atm it is only "PCI" and "on board" for display option.

Request to remove wlan and wwan whitelist. i am getting the error 104-unsupported wwan network device detected system haulted. remove device and restart.

I get the funky error your wifi card isn't listed please shut down.

Hi, my laptop is Samsung NP-RV509-A0FIN which doesn't boot with Windows 10. I have looked over the web. There are a lot of Samsung laptops which are not able to boot Windows 10. I also looked on Geekbench and could easily find a lot of laptops of other brands but with same configuration running Windows 10. So I guess the bios from Samsung are at fault.

So my question is, is it possible to flash bios of any other laptop in this world on my RV509 to make it work? I have heard in past that sometimes bios of other laptops of the same brand do work.

hi all, i have an old hp dv2308tx laptop that i need to change the wifi card on.
