[REQUEST] Lenovo Z51-70 UEFI BIOS MOD

Hola Amigos!
I am in the process of getting Mac OSx Yosemite Set up on my Lenovo Z51 Laptop, and am facing an issue with the DMVT Prealloc Memory
in the UEFI BIOS.
I Followed some guides for older laptops and found that I need to set the setup variable 0x18c to 0x3, but unfortunately, this is not possible since the H2O Bios Versions available for my laptop.

My BIOS Dump : https://www.sendspace.com/file/9pg2vz (Universal BIOS Backup toolkit could not identify my bios, so i used its custom option 8192K, is it the correct way to extract?)

I need help in either changing the 0x18c setup variable to 0x3, or i've read in some places, to unlock the hidden menu to be able to do
such things.

How to backup SMS from Android

Here is how to backup SMS from Android with Vibosoft Android Mobile Manager:

1. first, connect the phone to the computer via this mobile manager.

2. Then click on the contacts in the “Mobile Phone Management”, and click “Select All” to export all of the messages.

3. At this time, a window will pop up, and you need to choose the approach to save the messages and click “Yes”.

In this way, your SMS will be transferred to the computer. It is quick and easy to operate. But if you are still confused or do not know how to do it, do not hesitate to click “Help” for directions.

After transfering SMS from Android on computer, then you know how to print off text messages.

Need help with BIOS recovery

Hi there,

I have an ACER laptop with the model name, v5-473PG. i tried doing a BIOS update last night as I was having issues with SSD not being recognised. While updating my BIOS, it froze for more than half an hour and I had to turn it but now it won't do anything at all.

I have been reading up on how to fix a botched bios flash job and found this site. I need help in trying to figure out how to find the right bios file to flash since the files I found on ACER's website are .exe and not .bin or .rom.

These are the BIOS files I found on ACER's website:

Hello,
is there a way to unlock hidden Options on HP Compaq 6730b Bios?
There is no way to boot from USB or optical drive. When I push ESC during Boot sequence, there are only three options to boot from HDD, UpgradeBay or Network. I must do a new install of WIN7. It would be glad if someone can help.

Thank you so much for doing this guys! I really appreciate it! I wonder what new settings this will open up!

Here's a picture of the Main page on my BIOS. The video memory is greyed out. There is no graphics card on this computer though. I'm really hoping there is some way an option to slightly overclock it appears.

Hi I'm looking to see if we can extract the apparent vga module and increase dedicated video memory from 384MB to 1536MB?

After extracting it myself and searching this is the vga bios : 8DFAE5D4-B50E-4C10-96E6-F2C266CACBB6_1010.ROM

It won't open in RBE and I'm not certain how to remove the clock limit and increase the dedicated ram amount?

Good day,

I would like to ask/request if someone could unlock the bios, the computer has an integrated GPU and a discrete one, and I would like to change the switchable graphics mode from Dynamic to Fixed, however the BIOS lacks such a feature. I was told unlocking it would solve my issues, tho I'm completely unexperienced with such things and I'm afraid I'd do more harm than good. >.<

Can't find anything so can you help me unlocking my BIOS?

/edit: SORRY, finally found the thread by vodek and it finally worked.

I just changed the fan settings so that the cpu fan is always at 100%.

More recommended settings for max. performance?
