Edit:
From what I conclude the Bios is RSA signed and therefore unmoddable unless you have a hardware device to to clamp to the chip and reprogram it? Even if I did have the hardware for that, is there a version of the Bios around that's unlocked? It might just be easier just to get a newer laptop then trying to change the WiFi card in it...

Someone please help!! I have an Acer Aspire E1-531 Windows 7 that was running an Intel B820 processor. I upgraded to a core i5 3210m and can't find bios to work with it. I recently updated to insydeh2o v 1.13 from Acer's website. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

Hallo everyone!

I've been stalking these forums for a while now waiting to see a modded bios appear automagically, (yes,
I know that is uttermost weak and lazy!), but meh! I've decided to take matters into my own hands.

I have this sp55355.exe installed.

Now I have started following donovan6000's guide to enable the advanced tabs of my bios but I am sorta stuck.

This is what I've been able to do so far:


- Found my setup's GUID to be

- Loaded FE3542FE-C1D3-4EF8-657C-8048606FF670_359.ROM (as donovan6000 says, take the largest file from the matching modules)

Acer aspire E1-510 black screen of death

Hey all I have recently encountered an issue with my acer aspire E1 and upon searching I presume it is the black screen or death or something similar to, One night after putting my laptop to sleep, i opened it back up and everything was normal, the leds worked fine, the HDD and the fan spun, but nothing on display, not even a glow, it displays nothing when connected via HDMI to my TV. cannot seem to find cmos battery, I'm thinking the bios is the problem but really have no idea how to perfrom a bios flash as all online repairs seem to revolve around acer aspire one models, need help!!!!!! tried running the battery dry, etc etc

recently updated my BIOS, and after this update my video memory droped down to 64mb from 256mb
and there is no advanced menu so i cant change this back to normal Sad

Asus G75VW unlock to support DDR3L 2133

Need an unlocked BIOS for the ASUS G75VM to get work with the set of G.Skill RIPJAWS 4x8GB DD3L 2133. Tried flashing to the latest BIOS got no POST when using the RIPJAWS but when using old ram everything is fine. Then found what about AMIBCP, ran it then open the BIOS file to find there were many Memory options:

DIIMM Profile
DDR Selection
1st Memory Frequency Limiter
2nd Memory Frequency Limiter

See Images in the attachments for what options there are.

Would it be best me to try doing this myself by changing these setting to USER for Access/Use then change the stated setting accordingly. What the best for me flash the modified BIOS since I'm already on the latest BIOS? Easy flash will not work it'll say BIOS file is older.
