[REQUEST] Acer Aspire E15 E5-571P

Hi, I would like help unlocking the Advanced and Power tabs in my Acer Aspire BIOS. I wanted to try to do it myself but I wasn't able to find the jump points using IDA. Using Andy's tool I was able to find the tabs in SetupUtility GUID 'FE3542FE-C1D3-4EF8-657C-8048606FF670_1490' and donovan6000's Universal IFR Extractor found the tab locations. After messing around for a few hours I figured it's time to get help from the pros. I have a HW SPI Programmer if needed.

Hello everyone, I would like to have unlocked BIOS for my laptop.
I5 Ivy Bridge
NVidia 710M
4GB Ram
etc
I've noticed that when I enable secure boot it doesn't list my hard drives.

System BIOS Date 07/02/2013
BIOS Version V2.17
BIOS Type Insyde EFI
Video BIOS Date 03/14/12

I have tried to find update for my bios, and indeed I did, here, unlocked, but since it seems that there's some odd thing with secure boot, I don't want to mess anything up.

In attachment is backup (with Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0).
I would love to have my logo as well, if possible.

Hi,

I know, I am asking for cpu support for an older board, maybe someone already have this bios modded. I am from brazil and I have been working in a few older boards and came across this one, that states in the site that supports E7500 but vcore status is failed and the clock is 1.6ghz instead of 2.93ghz, I looked all over and could resolve the issue, thats why I am requesting support from someone. Thanks

Is it possible to get a option in the BIOS to set the ATA password for a SSD (Samsung Evo 850 Pro)?
I would like to set it to use the encryption feature.

I bought a noname laptop - OK M46. When i googling the Net - no answers requested/

Platform - Intel Montevina
BIOS - Phoenix BIOS.

When i trying to activate Windows 7 with Daz loader 2.2.2 - this tool confirms SLIC by Acer. The system was activated.

Hi, I´m new here. I need help with my ASUS.

1-When start the speed fan go to max RPM and stay that way, but if turn off and start again the fan work correctly,modulated by temperature.

2-The screen flickering random. It may be several minutes ok and suddenly flickering and returns ok.

I´ve done many test, replace the CPU and GPU paste, install the last catalist driver (the ligth background don´t work and return to previous driver), check all internals connections, update BIOS with old original version..............but nothing.



Can It BIOS modding to resolve this?

I want to mod my BIOS to enable the hardware VT-x feature of my processor.
My processor is an Intel T9500 2.6ghz Core 2 Duo (yes this chip has the VT-x feature)
I have upgraded my RAM to 8gb (2x4gb Dimms)
The current bios is Pheonix 1.30
The operating system is Ubuntu 14.04 64bit.

Also, I currently can not even flash my BIOS.
I have downloaded the Pheonix 1.36A bios from Acer and I have not been able to update it. I have made several bootable thumb drives and CD-Rs with the phlash16.exe and no luck. I have tried running it under FreeDOS, MS-Dos 7.1, and MiniXP. I keep getting the following errors:

Cannot Install when DOSKEY is present
Cannot Flash if memory Managers (e.g. HIMEM) present
Invalid FlashInt.Bin !

I have used two versions of phlash16.exe (the included 1.6.8.8 and 1.7.0.41)
the two BIOS files are HMA136.rom and HMA136.WPH (not sure what the difference is)
From the prompt i have tried entering the command in the following ways:
c:\phlash16.exe hma136.yyy /x /s /c /mfg /mode=3
c:\phlash16.exe /x /s /c /mfg /mode=3 hma136.yyy
c:\phlash16.exe hma136.yyy

I have also tried changing the BIOS drive setting from AHCI to IDE

There must be some detail I am missing just need to find it.

I had to create my boot disk with this program to make phlash16.exe work

Hi all,
it's my first time here. I've recently installed a SSD to my Asus ET2011E and had to assert that i can't change the onboard sata mode in bios settings to AHCI. It's on IDE mode atm and greyed out. If someone can help me to unlock this feature I would be very happy because I could gain some speed in disk access. Thank you in advance.

My System:

My wifi card is only working intermittently so im going to need a new one. With that I want to save the trouble of doing it now rather than later by updating my bios and unlocking all menus and removing the restriction on wifi cards from the bios.

Need Lenovo ThinkStation S20 bios unlock

Hi guys,can somebody help me?I have Lenovo ThinkStation S20 M/T: 4157-ZYM S/N:S4VHR49 with current bios :60KT47AUS the last on(this reading is form AIDA64,in the folder of the lenovo bios tool the folder is with 60J647USA name) lenovo site.
I need to fine tune the system so any unlock of the bios will be apreciated.Fan control,CPU Voltage settings,Memory timings settings,Maybe a menu with cpu multipliers enabled so i can change them Smile I Have a XEON W3580 and in other motherboard it OC like crazy to 4.2Ghz.
Allready tried the bios that user BDMaster gave me,but it does not want to flash either with windows utility ot onder dos using PHLASH16.
In windows the utility says to me that the version is the same so it will not flash.The dos method freezes at about the half of the process.I restart and boot to WIN normaly after that.
I am attaching the last bios that i have here,so anyone can use it.Plz BIOS-MODS help a new user Smile

Hi,
Any chance there is a need for different mod to use following WiFi card:
Azurewave AW-CE123H / 802.11ac/n/b/g + Bluetooth 4.0/ (Broadcom BCM4352 & BCM20702)
I used BIOS mode found on this site written for Intel Wireless-AC 7260 card. I am not sure does the mod is for a specific card or any card.
