Request - Toshiba A200-1BP (PSAECE-0100UXTE) Modded Bios Request

Hello,

I have this laptop: Toshiba A200-1BP (PSAECE-0100UXTE). I want a bios mod for AHCI support and some gfx card options. I'm running now Win XP but after one month i will update to win 7. Does this matters?

Second problem is that I can't find the original bios files on internet nor on the Toshiba's Web site.

Can somebody help me?

A300 PSAGCE Insyde

Hello.

I was trying to flash my BIOS but something went wrong and my computer won't boot up.

I have a Toshiba Satellite A300 PSAGCE with Insyde BIOS. I'm trying to flash again but i see so many options i don't know what to do.

Some people said the use win+F, others FN+F. There are someone that use a FD file, others a Bin.. I dont know what to do.

Can someone give a tutorial so i can follow or give some hints for what i can do?

I've downloaded the update file from toshiba that cames in a EXE file. I've unzip it and i got a P****.FD file among others.

I have a 2GB usb drive. The computer won't boot up. What can i do?

I found a thread here from a while back but unfortunately all of the links to the modded bios are down now, maybe that is to stop noobs like myself from bricking their computers though. All I want to do is swap the wifi card, why does lenovo have to make our lives so difficult...

If anyone is able to help me out by removing the whitelist, I would be extremely grateful! I have never had to do any kind of bios modding before but if it's not too much work, I'd love to have an apple logo instead of lenovo when I turn it on also. Not totally necessary, I'm very happy with whatever help I can get Smile

Edit: Also, I don't mind to do it myself but I'm having difficulty finding any kind of auto patching tool or instructions on what to patch. There's instructions everywhere but I'm not sure if they are specific to different models and I really don't want to brick the computer. If anyone can link me to instructions that should work with this computer, I would also be very happy with that.

Hi,
I'm using Lenovo E535 for 1.5 years, while using it, I found very difficult and disturbing to use wireless lan since it constantly disconnect every time.
So I bought new lancard(Intel wireless N7260) to replace from former one(BCM-BCM94313HMGB).
This wasn't a problem but there was a message telling "Unauthorized PCI Device" something like that. I thought this problem is directly related to whitelist so I'm posting this thread for help. Please reply Smile

I have replaced the Intel 7260-N Wifi Chip in my Lenovo U530 Ideapad with the Intel 7260-AC.

I would like to be able to figure out how to dissassemble and modify the Binary Bios, but have yet been able to determine the best way to do this.

If somebody could either point me in the right direction, or make the modifications it would be appreciated.

[Problem] After WhiteList Removal Flash my Lenovo U410 is identified as a U310

Hello,

After I flashed my modded bios to the newest modded bios, 

My Bios says it's a U310 instead of a u410,

I used the following method:

To anyone who want to do it themselves, below is how I did it. Note this is for U310/410 with 65CN99WW BIOS.
1. Do BIOS backup using the BACKUP_Tools software. http://rghost.net/58219938
2. Extract the result.rar generated from step 1 and put in the .bin file to the same folder as patches.txt and UEFIPatch.exe which I got from http://www.xup.to/dl,12790204/U410_WW_Patch.zip/.
3. Drag the .bin file to the UEFIPatch.exe and it will run the patching and generate a .patched file.
4. Rename the .patched file to bios.bin and replace the bios.bin file in modified folder of any of the people here who requested for mod. You can use mine as given by BDMaster - http://rghost.net/59280450
5. Follow the instructions of README file for the USB boot and flashing command.

No more "Unauthorized network card is plugged in - Power off and remove the miniPCI network card." error.

However, My HDMI-port stopped working after the flash, my WiFi-card works like a charm though. 

I cannot run: 
- NEW_BACKUP_FPTs
- Universal Bios Backup

Because they cannot read my BIOS. I think the flash of the Intel VBios went wrong.

What can I do in order to restore my HDMI-port?

Hi,

I kindly ask you to help me getting over some troubles with the Xeon processors in MSI X58 Platinum. It has a rather outdated support for 06C2 CPUs (rev: 0F). I would need a newer rev (14) to be able to use the Xeons correctly.

I can provide a donor bios with rev 14 support. Could you please inject the correct microcode to my bios.
