VGA REQUEST FOR SONY VGN-AR11B

hi i want to ask if some can make a mod for the VGN-AR11B to start in dulal view mode on start up LCD + HDMI or only HDMI as a primary screen is it possible and how we will do it??? i have a broken VGN-AR11B which is working great but i can take signal on hdmi only when the windows starts can it made to start from the bios post scr ??? thanks in advance nikkpap@gmail.com

Hi guys,

new to the forum here not really familiar with the various tools but really fluent with computer use.

I live in EU Greece,

My bios version is 5FCN91WW

I tried to update to 5FCN95WW but I get an error and/or the flash tool crashes.

I tried a bios backup tool that I saw around here but it said it can't recognize the bios or sth like that

I have bought an Intel AC7260 card and got the usual whitelist screen when installed.

Currently I have a broadcomm card with ID PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727&SUBSYS_058714E4&REV_01

My OS is Windows 8 64bit

I know I probably have to do more steps so I am waiting for further instruction. Thanks for your time and the great forum

GPU upgrade on a toshiba P500

Hello,
I have a problem regarding my laptop, since my GPU died and I got another one which was used in a marginally later toshiba P500 satellite.
Is there a way to unlock the BIOS to make it work?
The mainboard had a discrete GT230M, now I have tried using a GT330M.

It simply won't boot, but the GPU is fine. I have looked for a way to unlock the BIOS in some way to make it work, but no mention was given on GPU upgrades.

I'm a total noob at this and looked at various programs and tools, but I lack the understanding of how to do it myself. Answers and help would be really appreciated. I didn't make a request for now since I am not even sure if it is possible on this notebook, although I've already flashed unlocked BIOSes on my Acer notebooks which had MXM.

Hi at all.

I need help.

I have an Asus U36SD without official windows 8 support.

My boss has an Asus U36SG with official windows 8 support.

These NBs are esthetically the same but have different bios.


Asus has updated the U36SG bios in order to resolve a bug in windows 8: the FN brightness key freezes.

I need to mod the lastest bios of U36SD in order to have fully working fn brightness key s.

I currently have a bios for my dell with a stuck asset tag. usually this can be wiped from the bios though the bios is not allowing me to do this any more..
All that i need is for the textbox containing the asset to to be set to enabled so i can then update the tag(its set to disabled when it detects a tag)

any help would be appreciated!

Hello. My name is Daniel im from sweden. I got a present from my brother a year ago a eeepc900 i upgraded with kingston ssdsms200 64gb, 2gb ram running ubuntu 12.04 i was just about to ditch the internal mPCIe Atheros WIFI card for a newly purchased Broadcom Cystal HD bcm70015 card. To finally be able watching youtube and hd movies. But unfortionatly i found out that bios got whitelist on WWAN mPCIe slot. I will be very grateful for your help!
