Hi!
I've a Insydeh20 Bios (realme laptop) and I need to write the Windows product key (OA3), like WinOA30_64 for gigabyte.
Anybody know how to do it?
Thank you!
Motherboard: Asus Maximus V Formula
BIOS Version: 1903 (Link)
Goal: Add NVME PCIe booting support.
OS: Windows 10/11
I'm looking to purchase one of those NVME to PCIe adapters so as to use an M.2 NVME SSD as my boot drive into Windows 10/11 but my understanding is these adapters aren't detectable during Windows Install due to the unmodified BIOS not supporting NVME whatsoever.
Was hoping for one of you geniuses to make the suitable modifications to the latest bios so that i may simply USB Flashback and call it a day.
Greatly appreciated if it all works without a hitch!!

Could you help me to unlock the BIOS please? I just upgraded my RAM but there are some problem with the RAM frequency if this is the term. Can anyone help me with it please???
I'm new on this blog and updated my old PC;s HD [SSD]and mem. and using a AC USB network donky. Original bios , but looking to add a faster wifi card if possible with a bios change if needed. I found a sp60717exe. that looks shady and appeared to not open correctly.. IS this a safe bios? Whats with he bios links do not seem to be around, gone or lost?
My laptop model is HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop -15-dk1035tx, and the bios version on my laptop is F.41.
I cant use software to get my bios bin file, the only way to get my bios file is download bios updater software from the official website and extract from the exe.
After i got the bin file, I used H2OEZE tool to extracted SetupUtility module then used IRFExtractor transformed it into txt file.
In the txt file i found overclocking setting variable address offset. So i tried modGRUBShell.efi to change it . Unfortunately it failed, both setup_var and setup_var_cv
failed. Then i used RU.exe to change the variable in CpuSetup table and it worked! But when i tried to change fan speed variables in Setup table, it poped up
ERROR 0x000001A. I searched the ERROR code in the RU.exe official website and found the meaning is 0x0000001a EFI_SECURITY_VIOLATION.
I dont know how to remove this error , i guess maybe there is a security method to precluded me from modifing the Setup table.
And now i want a modified bios so that i can use hardware programmer to flash it . I search it in the fourm and find it seems like HP's Bios has RSA encryption.
But then i read the passage topped in this block. My bios name is 08740.bin, not 01xxxx and 03xxxx.
And i used Phoenix Mod to open my bios file ,there is no that "Decrypted" legend as first output.
So is there any possibilities my bios is not encrypted.
Also I find that the lastest version is not same with the initial version. the initial version is bin file and the lastest version is fd file.
Following is my questions :
1.Is it possible to flash the initial F.03 version bios by HW Promgramer Since HP dont allowed downgrade bios?
2.Is my bios encrypted by RSA or not?
3.I have change the bios module to change fan speed but i dont know if it can boot after i flashed it.
4.If i flashed the wrong bios file by HW programmer can i use it to flash the original bios to unbrick my computer?
This are my bios files( initial and lastest):
lastest(In the exe by 7zip is fd file and run the exe to extract is bin file) :

Greetings and thank you. Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
I have an old motherboard with some SATA to IDE controller and Award-Phoenix BIOS v6. I would like to update my BIOS with the newest controller's ROM. My problem: I am able to extract old and insert new controller's ROM into BIOS with CBROM198, but it's not loaded as new ROM isn't set for needed vendor, device id. Is there a tool/tutorial how to check/change vendor, device ids of the ROM without blindly playing with Hex Editor?
I'm sure that it's about vendor, device id cause I was able to find and compare original and oem controller's ROMs of same, but old ROM version. It's clear that original ROM is set for vendor, device id 1095_1332, while oem ROM for 1002_4379. I need to set new ROM to vendor, device id 1002_4379...

I'm looking for old DOS UpdBios Utility by Silicon Image. There was at least v2.3, found some readme.txt on the web archive...
Instructions for Using DOS UpdBios Utility
Updated: 2/21/03
The UpdBios.exe DOS utility can be used to create BIOS binary code for
add-on card from the motherboard BIOS binary code. The correct
signature will be created and saved in the output BIOS binary code based
on user inputs.
The UpdFlash.exe command line syntax is as follows:
where
input_file_name is the input binary file name
output_file_name is the output binary file name
bios_type is B for non-raid BIOS
R for raid BIOS
UpdBios.exe will prompt the user to select product for which the output
BIOS binary code will be used. This program supports SiI 0680, SiI 3112,
SiI 3512, and SiI 3114 controller chips.
If the user wishes to add their logo in the BIOS code or change vendor id
and product id, just select the appropriate menu item the program displays
on the screen and type in the corresponding information. The user input will
be saved in the output BIOS binary code.
I was wondering if it is possible to use 4gb ram on Intel 915PM chipset. This is old laptop, but I have some free time now so I decided to try it.
I've bought DDR2 Samsung M470T5663EH3-CF7 2 GB ram, two sticks. With only one laptop boots normally, with two inserted it turns on for 5 seconds and then turns off. I've tried to do it on every bios available. Is there any option to modify bios so it could use 4gb of ram? I've heard about modifying
ram tables but it's all new to me. The only experience with modifying bios I had was with updating bios with cpu microcodes and that's it. So, could anyone help me with this or give some tips? I would be very thankful Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.

Hi!
I've a Insydeh20 Bios (realme Book Prime (model CloudPro002)) and I need to re-write the windows key (OA3) to change for W11Pro key.
Do you know how to do it?
Do I need a bios download tool and a modding tool? Or on the contrary, is there a direct method to make that change?
Reason to do this on one (or both) PCI-E 8X slots would be to allow cheap 2XNVME cards to be used,
as all other storage options are considerably slower, and theres not much to be added in those slots,
as board has two 10GB network slots, and lots of SAS/SATA storage options
I've been messing around whith this laptop for a long time without even noticing it has 3200 mhz ram installed but working only at 2400. Checked the bios and its a mess. Nothing in it. Just like a showcase whats happening and whats inside. Nothing to change.
so the specs are:
AMD Ryzen 7 3750H with Radeon RX Vega 10 2.3 Base Clock
16 gb ram (actually 3200 but locked at 2400)
GTX 1660ti 6 gb
Can it be unlocked so i can set ram speed to 3200 maybe?
Hi, I have a Legion Y540 i5-9300H + GTX 1650 Model Laptop.
I was able to unlock the Advanced Menu in my BIOS but there is a special OverClocking Menu that looks like this (see image below). It is greyed out on mine. I cannot unlock it.
Hi can anyone unlock the bios for a Lenovo thinkcentre m715q it has The Ryzen 3 pro 2200ge.
I want to increase the uma frame buffer to allocate 2gb ram to the GPU currently it can only be set to auto (1gb) 512mb and 256mb.
Should this increase the performance of the GPU I have seen people play games like GTA V and the Witcher 3 smoothly at low settings with this cpu but for me some games will run well but have a weird stuttering slowdown when moving around.
