[REQUEST] Unlock Unwill/Tongfang GM7AGxN Gaming Notebook

Hello,

I have a brand new barebone Notebook „Unwil/TongFang GM7AGxN“ from PCSpecialists. It is called Recoil VI 17. It ist the same as the Eluktronics Mech 17 GP with i9 12900H and RTX 3080 Ti. I do not have the CherryMX keyboard.

The real name of the device is "Unwill IDN" Gaming Notebook.

Unfortunately the BIOS ist strictly locked and I miss Advanced Optimus + G-Sync. I only have a normal MUX switch and G-Sync is not available in dGPU mode. The panel (BOE0A99) is exacly the same as the other resellers use.

Is there any chance to get this thing unlocked ? Eluktronics is using PremaMod for this device but I don‘t know where I can get it.

Lenovo Thinkbook 14-iil Restore SN/UUID/Windows Key

Hi

I have a laptop Lenovo Thinkbook 14-iil that had a black screen when I turned it on. I follow this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdRAOpMhv8w&t=5020s and was able to re-flash the bios and "fix" the laptop. The laptop now turns on but it doesn't have any serial number under bios or UUID and neither the Windows Key included in BIOS. I have tried to re-inject the Windows KEY and serial number in BIOS and re-flash it, but I am not able to do it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I believe my BIOS was corrupted before and that why it was showing a black screen.

Need help to unbrick ACER Aspire ES1-131-C4UB

My ACER Aspire ES1-131-C4UB initially having problem with keyboard and mouse pad. The keyboard was working in BIOS mode but not working in OS mode. Thinking maybe updating the BIOS from version 1.1 to 1.24 might help solving the problem. It was succesfully updated to 100% but after auto reset it does not boot anymore, the screen just black.

I got the BIOS from ACER website https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles...ER&SC=PA_6

I unzip the files and even unzip the ".exe" but somehow unable to fine ".fd" file. Can anyone help me on this?

Sony Vaio E Series VPCEC1M1E - BIOS Unlock Request

I found my old laptop collecting dust and decided to bring it to life.

Laptop: Sony Vaio E Series
Model: VPCEC1M1E

Ami Aptio Bios
Bios: R0300Y8.rom
EC: K0300Y8.rom

I tried to unlock it myself with AMIBCP. I changed the menu+items I wanted to unlock to "USER". Flashed it with AFUWIN64GUI but nothing changed. See attachements for the original bios rom and the one I edited.
My goal is to unlock options to change cpu settings/fsb/primary display adapter selection/ram settings. Anyone who can help I would really appreciate it.

IntelRCSetup is currently displayed. And the Memory Configuration menu under the directory.

The purpose of this time is the Memory Timings & Voltage Override menu. It doesn't seem to be quoted.

Some attempts already done: Added Memory Timings & Voltage Override to AMITSE main menu (nothing changed). In Platform (IntelRCSetup). Insert\Replace (The Memory Timings & Voltage Override option appears in the BIOS, unfortunately there is no content in it, or irrelevant content appears, the main content is not quoted)
My current skills are insufficient to explore further.

Modify hidden settings by changing optimal defaults

Hi!

I'm trying to change some hidden BIOS settings on a Maxsun MS-Challenger H510ITX motherboard. I'm most interested in enabling PCIE ASPM and DMI ASPM.

The most obvious solution is to unlock those options with their associated menus. However, unlocking brand new top-level menus seems quite difficult, involving a lot of trial and error steps that I do not quite understand yet.

Is it possible to modify these hidden settings by changing the "Optimal" value in AMIBCP, and then load the optimal default in the BIOS setup?

I recently bought a Geforce 9600M GT 512mb for my Compal IFL90, but I got no video after upgrading from an 8400M GS.

I would like to know if there is any way to modify my Bios to accept this card. My current Bios is 1.16(

Pentium 4 GERICOM ami unlock request

hello good day. i have aquired some old laptops to mess with. and one of which is this weird gericon laptop. their website does not exist anymore. info/bios update for this laptop is non existent.  however. this laptop is using a desktop pentium 4. desktop SIS 645DX and more. with SETFSB I can fully overclock it until voltage is not enough.  the cooling on this laptop is  a lot better compared to other pentium 4 desktop laptop's I've seen so I'm sure it could overclock 


I've extracted the bios using a dos program since I cannot find a fresh update from the net 

if possible. could overclocking function be added to the bios?

and perhaps maybe micro code updates for higher than northwood support cpu's?

alternatively. ho could I go about and mod the bios myself? I've tried using stuff like AMIBCP but it cant open the from. only the hex editor can open it. i'd love to do it and I feel like these older systems ould be the easiest?

A custom BIOS install for Inspiron 15R 5537 that doesn't require a connected battery

Hi,

I have an old Dell Inspiron 15R 5537 for which I'd like to update the BIOS, but the installation file won't let me as no battery is detected (a battery is connected but dead).
The bios download file is https://dl.dell.com/FOLDER05842977M/1/In...37_A12.exe
I found some docs mentioning using the /forceit parameter, but it doesn't work (and I verified I did it right by inputing a random parameter, for which I get "Invalid WinFlash parameters error", which makes sense).
I'd like a custom install file that won't require a working battery. Of course, I'm aware of the consequences.

(btw, I tried doing that from DOS- apparently there's no way to do it from there; I tried doing it from the BIOS setup or from the boot menu option to flash the BIOS from there but surprisingly the option to update the BIOS is missing. And I've check EVERYWHERE.)

Good afternoon. Help modify the bios phoenix
Samsung R410 plus laptop (Samsung r460 motherboard, chipset )
The laptop works, it has a Celeron 575 processor, I bought a Core2 Duo T7500 and with it the laptop does not turn on. I wanted to update the bios.
