Hi please I NEED this pc to whitelist the WIFI card so i can use my exernal video card using then BEAST Docking NGFF M.2 A/E key extention for my setup. I dont care if i brick this computer it was given to me for free so i take my chances any good samaritan that wants to help me will be much apreciate it. The only reason why i need this to work is because this monitor is the perfect size for my airplane simulation Setup. Symtoms are when cable is plugged in the screen stays completly black, doesnt go to the BIOS or do anything but as soon as i unplug this it works normally so i read that this is due to the WIFI whitelist issues with HPs Thank you.

Tools to mod DV6-3000 series

Hello,
I need help pls. I have 2 specialty motherboards DV6-4000 series neither one of the boards have any informations in the bios, such as Model number, Product number, System Board number and PCID number and I need the tools to reprogram those info's into the bios or mainly I want to restore the switchable graphics that disappeared. If I could restore my graphics, the board info's won't be necessary then. I have searched everywhere online for answers but came out empty. I see that this is a common issue for HP devices. Thank you in advance.

Hello,
I just got a GA-AB350M-Gaming 3 and want to use it with my Ryzen 5 3600. But it seems the bios is too old to support the processor. Considering the Gigabyte website, I need at least the F40 update installed on my motherboard for this CPU. Unfortunately, I don't have a compatible CPU to do this BIOS update. Sad
I managed to extract my bios with my programmer but I'm not sure if it's possible to update it myself before flashing it back in the motherboard?

I am looking to get my BIOS whitelist removed, and if possible any other features unlocked. I have looked through the forums and been unable to find a solution for this particular laptop. I can get a software dump of the BIOS, but I don't know if that is useful or if I will need a USB programmer and appropriate cable for a hardware dump.

Hi. I have Asus X401A and I wanted to upgrade the CPU to i5-2350M but it doesn't turn on. The flashes are on but the screen is completely off.

The one I have on board is in the following picture. Please help.
I am a newbie in here and dunno what to do. I know I somehow have to get the dump but dunno yet how to.

My Acer Nitro 5 (an515-43) has 8gb of ram in dual channel. However, I can only use 6gb because 2gb has been assigned as vram for the iGPU. Gaming applications max out at 5.5gb ram usage and have random frame drops because of this issue. The iGPU is at idle while my laptop switches to the inbuilt gtx1650 for gaming, meaning those 2gb are utterly wasted while the game struggles and stutters with only 6gb of ram in use.

Power on self test is set to "fast boot" or "quick boot" as a default, and i cannot disable it, because the option is missing in the bios.
Can anyone unlock this option in the bios please, so i can utilize that if I need?

what's up? I'm hoping someone can help me with this HP Pavilion Slimline s5610y it has the H-Apricot-RS780L-uATX Motherboard.
i pulled it out of storage to give to a friend of mine that hasn't had a PC in a few years. But I manage to get windows 11 running on it without a UEFI BOOT and no TMP.
but it struggles to keep running smoothly so I'm hoping to get some over-clocking options.
so the latest bios version number is 6.02 and I extract it from HP's self installer. I added it as an attachment
but I don't know if it matters but it's original file name was "apr6.02" and I changed it to the current name "apr6_02.rom".
so if your up for helping me let me know thanks.

Hello everyone,

I have a lenovo Legion 5 Pro 16ACH6H 82JQCTO1WW with Ryzen 7 5800h, RTX 3070 and 16 GB.

I have a problem with the dram, it run at 1600mhz instead of 3200mhz.

So i want to unlock advanced bios (version GKCN54WW) to enable the XMP profil or OC the dram at 3200mhz.

Can you help me for that or give me another solution, pleaaase ?

I just bought a used HP ProDesk 600 G4 (waiting for shipping) and it comes with an i5 8500.

While researching about CPU upgrade, it looks like some of the 9th gen CPU is not supported by it.

Hello all, I have an Asus P5G41T -M LX motherboard and a Sapphire HD 6780 1GB graphics card. The graphics card is working on my other motherboard (MSI G33M) but whenever i try it on my P5G41T there is no display. I tried my RX 570 on P5G41T and its working. I guess this is a some kind of compatibility issue (pcie 2.1 / pcie 1.1). Is there any solution via bios modding etc. Thanks in advice.G41T-M LX
