PC bricked :( need help programming EEPROM please

Hey guys,

I tried to update my Tronsmart ARA X5 Pro (link) BIOS (oh why did I do that??). Process failed and I'm left with a bricked computer.

Bought a CH341A programmer (this one: link) to try and reflash the EEPROM.

It's an ATMEL 93C56A - as far as I understand (please see photo attached).

Drivers installed ok.
Using asprogrammer.

I can't figure out for the life of me how to program a 93CXX with this software. Found a couple of guides for CH341A, but still not sure what to do with the 93C chip.

Can anyone please please help or send me in the right direction? I'd appreciate any pointer.

Thanks
Moti

[REQUEST] Hystou S210 BIOS unlock

After reading this thread, I have more or less the same problem. In fact I have one more.

Since the "hystou" vendor gave me the update, SSDs are no longer detected on Sata. I have attached a photo for you to understand before and after the update.
After the update I noticed that my SSD is not detected in the SATA_5 port. I have two M2.SSD and one SSD on SATA5.
The last one is not detected by windows or linux.

The version of the bios that he gave me to download is the one I am attaching to you. Also, every time I activate TMP for windows 11 support, the bios freezes and I have to shut down the pc. Once turned on, the bios is reset.

hello friends, I own a Fujitsu Lifebook T734 and was wondering if anyone knows how to unlock this UEFI? It is Phoenix SecureCore Tiano
It seems to be split between 2 WinBond chips. (I cannot open it with UEFITool "FfsParser::parseIntelImage: BIOS region is located outside of the opened image. If your system uses dual-chip storage, please append another part to the opened image")

Winbond W25Q64FV (8 Megabyte)

Winbond W25Q80BV (1 Megabyte)

I have extracted both with CH341a programmer.

If anyone could help here that would be very appreciated.

My bios rips attached and google drive link here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ooc-qT9...sp=sharing

Please note I am very new to bios mods.

Lenovo G560 Bios Mod

Hello

All the bios I saw had only one or two mods so I was doing my bios mod with all three possible.
You probably won't find a better modified bios.
I made this Mod for myself for the Lenovo G560.
Overall the original bios works for several models like G460, G560, Z460 and Z560.
Which means that the mod should also work on the other mentioned models, but I have no way to check.

Changes:

- Add Advanced Settings
- Whitelist Wifi Card Removed
- Microcode CPU Update:

-- CPUID 20655 From 00000002 (01.03.2010) to 00000007 (23.04.2018)
-- CPUID 20652 From 00000009 (12.11.2009) to 00000011 (08.05.2018)
-- CPUID 106E5 From 00000003 (29.05.2009) to 0000000A (08.05.2018)

Download:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1buksV-i...sp=sharing

While browsing the forums you can come across people who exchanged cpu and it wasn't compatible with their lenovo bios so it didn't work.
Old mircocode cpu may be to blame, it may not yet support the cpu in question.
For example, the newest original bios for my laptop has the old microcode 00000002 while the newest is 00000007 and the old one may not support the new CPU, so upgrading the microcode may help.

There is also the fact that the windows system loads the microcode at startup if it has a newer than the one in the bios.
However, the bios loads before windows so this newer windows microcode won't do anything to support the new cpu.
Your current version of mircocode can be seen in UEFITool by uploading your bios file (not .exe) to it.

These are just my considerations, but they can help someone.

Modified AMI bios wont post

I'm having an issue when I change settings via AMIBCP, save, and then after flashing the bios doesn't post. If I flash back to the unmodded version it posts fine (Minus the fact I accidentaly disabled USB, which is why I need to edit the bin and reflash), but any changes via AMIBCP and it won't post?

Any and all help would be appreciated.

I have updated my Acer Aspire A515-54G from BIOS v1.11 to v1.24 and have received very loud fans as a result - can somebody make an upgradeable BIOS that brings them back to a normal level? or maybe just mod the v1.11 BIOS so that I can downgrade?
