Hello everyone,

First i apologize for my English i'm from Belgium...

I got a big problem and i turn around.

I have a PC with motherboard Asus P5P43TD/USB3 . My personnal informaticien juste flashedit to pass from version 0401 to BIOS version 0405.

The things is i haven't got AHCI option , somebody says that is AHCI but i'm not sure. I know that there' s maybe a mod BIOS with AHCI but my informatician is effraid to put one in my motherboard...

So i got two problems :

- I have a SSD so i need AHCI option

- I just bought a Rack Thermaltake Max 5 Duo , so when i put the rack there's not the hot plug function , it's not recognized . Is it because there's no AHCI option?

The official firmware is pretty useless. I'm hoping someone can unlock it or point me to the tools that can unlock this firmware.

Hello! I have an hp pavilion dv6 notebook,but when I checked the S/N of bios it was
" CNF1016WN7 " and by checking it with hp website a dv7 model came up :

I am afraid to update bios because I see that the installed version is Insyde F29 but there isnt such BIOS for dv7-1016nr or dv7-1016tx...Is there any problem if I install VersionF.2D ?

Hi guys,

I'm hoping that someone can help by removing the WIFI card whitelist from the Lenovo G505s Insyde BIOS in order that I can install an Intel 7260 adapter (8086:08b1).

If unable to remove the whitelist completely, is it possible to replace one of the existing IDs with the above ID, or add the above ID to the whitelist?

Hi Guys,

Completely new to bios modding, so I'm not sure if this can be done or not but its worth asking.

About 2 years ago, I bought an i5 2500k from some seller on eBay - this was just after the sandy launch, and I was completely new to building PCs, it was my first time, so naturally I had absolutely no clue as to what "ES" meant.

Suffice it to say, Asus quickly snubbed support for it, and I've been running off of a two year old BIOS thats looking a bit long in the tooth.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could modify the latest bios for my board so it will boot with my CPU.

The Motherboard is the ASUS P8P67 rev.1xx B3

The Version I'm currently on is version *1704*, this is the last version they released before Ivy Bridge support, and is that last version that worked.

The Latest version is *3602*

I've seen several requests to have a Lenovo G500 whitelist removal but unfortunately such files have either been deleted or have not been put in the database supplied for easy access for other users.

I am looking for a removal of the Lenovo G500 whitelist.

The laptop has a Broadcom 802.11n wireless adapter that I want to replace.
I think the PC ID of the card is:

Device Instance ID PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727&SUBSYS_060914E4&REV_01\4&18901DAC&0&00E1 with the following status: 0x0.
(I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver in desperation several times but now I've decided to do away with such a cruddy card from a cruddy company).

My BIOS is 78CN19WW(V1.07)

Hello,
I'm trying to build a Hackintosh and I need to be able to enable ACHI under the SATA control mode. Unfortunately that option is no where to be found under my Pavilion DV4 1114nr BIOS. Attached is a link to the HP download and a pic of my first BIOS screen. And if it's possible to enable a way to change where it says "Factory Installed OS Vista" to a user selected name that would be a huge bonus !! Thank you for any help!

Hey, so I'm trying to use VMWare but it won't detect AMD-v hardware virtualization support (I know the -pro edition of my mobo & the processor both support it). I am here to request having this feature un-hidden. If you can unlock any other features in the process as well it would be awesome but this is really all I need.

Also, if you can tell me which program(s) you used, and which values you edited, I would be very thankful. I'm trying to learn how to do this so I can help people and avoid asking for help in the future.
