HP 8570W GPU MXM Upgrade problem. Help Me Please!

Hello everyone! I am looking for an answer to a problem I cannot find a solution to ... I purchased an Amd wx 4150 MXM GPU module su e bay to upgrade my HP 8570W Mobile Workstation which is currently equipped with a Fire Pro M4000. Once the new GPU has been installed, the PC screen no longer turns on but works only with external monitors connected via the docking station. The same happens once the drivers are updated! If I put the old card back on, the integrated monitor starts working again ... How can I fix it?

I have a Lenovo Z580 laptop with BIOS 5FCN95WW. When replacing the HDD with SSD, the BIOS is locked with a password. How do I unlock the BIOS?

As in topic, for example on Athlons, Ryzen 3 2200g /3200G or Ryzen 3 4350G/ Ryzen 5 3500

I understand that they most likely Laser cut blow fuses to disable cores / CU but I wonder if is possibility they forget about something maybe SMT?

I simply wonder if everyone assume AMD disabled all functions on hardware level, and we do not have any attempts to test it ?

Hi. I have an asus z9pa-d8.  There are no overclcoking options. Asus made the Z9PE-D8 WS which could overclock locked xeons via Bclk, though only a small amount. Supermicro also made some boards capable of this. I wondered if anyone could take a look at making a bios mod  that would add this functionality for the board I have? Though I wouldn't get a lot of overclocking out of it, I would be glad to get even a small amount and not have to buy a different board.

Bios chip: GigaDevice AH1732 25B64CSIG E7P891

bios version 5XCN26WW (http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobi...cn26ww.exe)

Have ch341A + soic8 clip (MinProgramment chip: WCH ch341a 202386910)

With ch341a programmer 1.34 auto detect bios chip as gigadevice GD25Q64. I saved bios with this settings, is it ok?

Want to unlock all bios menus.

The bios say: American Megatrends, Core 5.008.

I've dumped the firmware with flashrom so I can desolder the flash to recover if needed.

Please unlock at least the auto power on feature (and everything else if you can)

Hello people.

I recently got a HP ZBook 17 G2 Laptop with the following commponents:
Intel® Core™ i7-4810MQ
NVIDIA Quadro K5100M
32GB DDR3 Ram
SSD 512GB

I also have a GTX980m and i planed to exchange the GPU for that one.

For now i spotted that the layout of the MXM Cards is the same, so is the Power consumption and generation, but i doubt that the BIOS whitelisting will allow the upgrade.

Is there a way to successfully achieve the wanted attempt so the Laptop will start, post, and boot normaly?

I have totaly no idea on how to tackle this, im only good with the dissasembly and assembly part of that project, if possible.

HI again people

So to start off first, my English Language isn't that bad nor good, and i hope you will understand my dillema in this thread.

I really want to get things done, and it seems that talking about the problem and waiting for someone to magically get the solution in a file form, is not really the good start.

so i want to take the chances in my own hands, but i need to know WHERE TO START!

As in my first, and hopefully not the last post, i described a problem im working on

I got myself into a predicament. I wanted to use an wifi AC card in this laptop so I flashed the f.18 modded BIOS that had the removed whitelist and the card worked.
I came back a few weeks later and installed the latest f.20 BIOS which removed the mod AND locked the bios from being downgraded.
So think I'm in the right spot. I need a de-whitelisted f.20 BIOS (maybe remove the lock too) so that maybe I can flash the same version.
Side note, I'm not sure where the downgrade block exists, but would I also have to ask for the BIOS flasher program to be modded so it skips a BIOS lock check when installing a different BIOS?
