hello all, i've found that site doing some searches on google, got an acer aspire 5250 (code AS5250-E454G50Mikk) and all seems working (ram, hard disk etc.) with corrupted bios problem, on startup nothing on screen, fan at max, no led blinking).
isn't the first time that i try to restore a firmware but with that one i'm out of ideas:

-tested multiple usb sticks with fat/fat32
-tested to rename the bios file many times
-tested multiple combinations to start the flash but nothing happens
-tested to flash evry firmware vs avaible on acer site

there is someone that got problems flashing that pc? any here done any flash to that series that can help me?

Dell Vostra 3560 Corrupted BIOS help

Updated BIOS via windows to A19.
Black screen, fan on full and unresponsive.
Tried creating boot pen drive.
Cannot produce .hdr and .rom files from Dell BIOS download,Win Flash Parameter error.

Using the Down key, ac power up routine does make pen drive light up but no screen response.
I gather it needs the BIOS files opened by a specialist.

Does anyone have a set of files to restore this BIOS via a pen drive?

Does anyone have any other advice?

Any help to restore my old trusted laptop would be very welcome.

I installed SSD on the HDD Drive Bay Caddy, but the SSD BIOS is not visible, but the Windows Disk Management is visible, is it locked by Manufacturing? If yes I want to ask you to open the hidden / advanced settings in my bios, some time ago I have also asked for help to open the wifi / wwan whitelist removal.

I know what you thinking, another sorry sap with an HP bios problem!

I am in need of attempting to get into more options on the BIOS as I have ordered an eGPU system to beef up the gaming potential of my laptop but I have the M.2 NGFF I am hoping to use is giving me a whole heap of trouble. I need to set the PCI options on the advanced setting but after 8 hours I'm defeated - I have no idea what I'm doing. (attempted hex editing .dll but quickly realized how in deep I was haha

Dell 3400 password removal request Help

Hi guy's, i am searching for almost 2 months now for the solution to unlock the system or administration password for my Dell, this Laptop was sold to me by a friend, i though this issue was easy to unlock with a free Master password generating website, but unfortunately i failed because this type of service tag (E7A8) is not yet supported.

Here i will upload the dump file of my BIOS which i have collected using CH341A kit.

Hello! there is a laptop Toshiba Qosmio X875 bqs GTX670M-began to work poorly, ordered a GTX770M card on aliexpress and after installing the black screen. the laptop starts, the processor and video card heat up, the video card was tested on a Toshiba Qosmio x70 laptop - it is working. you need to removal white list from the BIOS so that the video card starts and works.

I know what you thinking - here comes another sorry sap with an HP bios problem!

I am attempting to get into more options on the BIOS as I have ordered an eGPU system to beef up the gaming potential of my laptop as I have the M.2 PCIe slot available and I'm just getting in a whole heap of trouble and fear I'm gonna brick my whole setup. I need to set the PCIe configurations as its currently only running at x1 speed despite it being a PCIe3.0 x4 capable of 8.0 GT/s. which I confirmed inHWiNFO64.
8 hours in and I'm frustrated and admit I have no idea what I'm doing. (Attempted hex editing a .dll ...out of my depth was an understatement)

Thus, bigger brains are needed...

[Request] Lenovo Ideapad 320 15IKB BIOS option for memory (RAM) remapping.

Long story short, I have been facing issues with the RAM in my external slot on my laptop. The ram does not get detected, and when I reset the bios by F9 multiple times, one time my entire 8gb RAM shows up else only the integrated 4gb motherboard ram gets detected. First I diagonsed this issue to maybe a faulty stick and bought a new Crucial stick, but it worked perfectly after the first insert and didn't work after, but both my old and new RAM's are detected by CPU-Z spd tab. Now, my RAM port pins could be faulty, but whenever I get the 8gb entire ram it's after a BIOS reset and I'm [censored] sure something is wrong with BIOS. I want to get the memory remap option in my BIOS if that's possible. Or if you could suggest me something for this fix, I have tried backflashing bios as well but it was all in vain.
BIOS version: 4WCN46WW
probably INSYDE 5.0, not sure though.
I don't know how to take a BIOS dump, any link would be appreciated, I tried some software (AFUWIN) but none worked. It's giving me error 10 and error 46 -error getting flash information, I ran as admin.
Also, can I even flash a bios just by using the exe like Lenovo official does?

Hi. I have just tried to change cpu from i5 2450m to i5 3320m. The socket phisically accept it but the screen was black.
I known that in notebook specifications there isn't 3320m in cpu compatibility list.
There is a chance to make it working with microcode update or bios modification?
Anyhow is possible to unlock advanced bios section?

Hi everyone and sorry if its the wrong section, but i've been looking and i didnt found which bios is that (if award, insyde, ami or phoenix), so if it's inappropriate, again sorry and delete it... i'm asking for help for a itx motherboard which is DH67CF that was sold as working, but it's bios bricked... i have the ch341a but it can't find which chip is that and i can't flash the bios because of a .bio extention... now, i can solder another chip with the same size (that is 32mbit) and flash it via ch341a? and how can i extract the rom, from that .bio file? thanks in advance and sorry if i did something wrong  Big Grin ps: if needed, i can share the file

[Request] - Unlock BIOS for Acer Aspire 6930.

Hi,

I have a very low budget so I can't upgrade to a new PC. Therefore, I was trying to upgrade my existing laptop (without any GPU) and add an eGPU. However, as soon as I connect my eGPU doc to my mini PCI port (my laptop has two mini pci ports), the laptop doesn't even boot up. Further on googling I came to know that this could be fixed by unlocking the bios menus.

I came to know that this is the best place to make a request for the same. I would like to highlight that I am a novice in BIOS modding. Therefore, I just followed some videos on youtube and am uploading the backup of my current bios alongwith the results.rar here:
