[REQUEST] Supermicro X8DAH+-F allcore Turbo Mod/ BIOS Unlock

Hello from Germany,
is it possible to boost my two Xeon X5690 to 28x multiplier allcore at turbo?
The cpu's can go to 28x multi but not allcore so it would be nice to have an allcore turbo with 28x multi for little bit more performance.

I got an Supermicro X8DAH+-F with two X5690 watercooled, 84GB ram at 1333MHz triplechannel and a Vega64 liquid.
And i use an 1TB Sabrent Rocket NVMe M.2 that boots windows with Clover bootloader. https://habr.com/ru/post/472224/

The PC runs really smooth and silent, the temps of the board are really good even at fullload or after hours of playing i checked with infrared thermometer.

ASRock G31M-VS2

Hello, i have a spare ASRock G31M-VS2 with an intel dual core, and all is ok. Now i wanted to install an Intel Quad Q9400. but unfortunately i have a lot of Bluescreen of death, after googling i found out that the problem is the vcore that is too low for this motherboard (even if is listened as supported by vendor). Hello,

Can anybody help me to locate the service tag in the BIOS file from the Dell Poweredge 12, 13 Gen servers?
I dumped the BIOS from one R930 server with a CH341A programmer but I cannot locate the service tag region. is there any specific tool for this?
Any help is appreciated.

[Request] Toshiba Satellite P775-S7320 AMI Aptio Bios V2.20 Unlock All

Title says most everything. I'm hoping someone here can help with unlocking all menus and some upgrading/updating to this bios. I know the laptop is old as dirt pretty much, as it has an  Intel Sandybridge mainboard, and gen 2 core I7 processor, but the main thing I'm trying to accomplish is unlocking the laptops ability to boot in uefi mode with a gpt layout SSD drive. I will provide a link to both the stock bios update file extracted from Toshiba's self extracting archive from their support page, as well as a direct dump of the same from my laptop with only all the access/use options changed to user, and a couple of changes to failsafes. I would greatly appreciate any help offered.

Asus U36SG - BIOS unlocked

Hello all,

First off som laptop info:
- Asus U36SG (actually a U36SD laptop, just replaced mobo with a U36SG mobo) i7 2640m
- Bios ver 204 link to bios
- RAM - Corsair 2x8GB DDR3 SODIMM-204p 1333MHz (these 16GB work with the U36SD mobo)

According to Asus specs, the U36SG is capable of 8GB ram max, although the Intel specs indicate its capable of 16GB ram max. Using the mentioned ram in info, the laptop only boots when one 8GB block in inserted.

So my request/question is, can the bios be modded to allow the 16GB ram?

UPDATE1:
So I managed to unlock the bios through guides here on the forum and MDL forum. Credits go to the various users that posted info, without I would never have figured out how to enable the following:
- Chipset menu tab is enabled
- All of the options enabled via AMIBCP

I have tested this on my own laptop and working fine.

Sadly unlocking those options, doesnt solve my initial problem. Im guessing the issue is a hardware bottleneck.

Hi guys,

I've dumped the bios using hardware CH341a USB programmer along with flashrom on Ubuntu. It's an Acer Predator Helios 500 with I7 8750h, 16Gb ram, GTX 1070.

The bios chip is detected by flashrom as  GD25Q128B and GD25Q128C.

Would you mind unlock all hidden menu? Also let me know if the dump is fine, or if I should switch to windows to read / write the bios chip.

Acer Aspire 5733Z issues with Win 10 Pro

This laptop shipped with Windows 7 Home. Installing OEM Windows 7 x64 Pro or Ultimate goes fine and self activates. I use gatherosstate.exe to get the genuineticket.xml file. Tried both a clean install of 10 Pro x64 and an upgrade in place from 7. I put the XML file in the right spot and reboot.

Windows 10 claims it cannot activate, no product key found. "We found a Windows 10 Home digital license for this device running Windows 10 Pro. To Activate using this digital license, you need to install Windows 10 Home". How it gets that when the XML file was generated on 7 Pro...

When I did the clean install of 10 Pro it acted as though it had self activated. I was able to change things in Personalize. Then I let it touch the web. That's when it popped up as not activated.

Is this something new with build 1909? I've never ever had this fail to work putting 10 Pro onto any PC that originally shipped with *any* version of Win 7.

AcpiTbls.rw from the laptop attached. Hopefully someone can tweak this thing to understand it should have 10 Pro.

If I have to first install an older version of 10 then upgrade, I can do that. I already do that using 1607 for older laptops that need drivers with deprecated signing methods. Worst case I'll just put 10 Home on it. Tongue

Already put an i5 CPU in it and replaced the defective 5400 RPM 500 gig aith a 7200 RPM 500 gig.

I bought a new motherboard for my faulty miix 510 from eBay and I noted the bios isn't fully programed.
It's missing the PI, SN, MTM and so on.
There's any way to edit bios info?

Is anyone able to assist in modding the attached InsydeH20 BIOS Image for a Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro?

[REQUEST / HELP] Modify CPU Fan Limits on Notebook Bios

Hello Bios Modding Fans

I need some Help to modify my AMI Bios from my Notebook.

The Problem is, there are only the Basic Settings enabled in the Bios. But i need some Advanced Features.
The CPU more limeted than needed ... 

The FAN startet at 55c to FULL Speed, and the Power is limited to 15W. Thats Crap. 

After reading in this forum i did some Tests. I downloaded the newest Firmware again and opened with 
AMIBCP 5.02.0023 - i opened my "downloaded Bios File" (.bin) and find the right Section

And i changed the TRIP Point 0 form 55c to 71c and the trip Point 1 from 71c to 87c, for the FAN and the Power Limit from 15 to 20.
Then i safed the BIN File.

Now what to do? Starting the Flash BAT File again? (Command is: FPTW64 -F 302_CSM.bin )
