Hello all,

I really need to mod my pc and use dual band card. Unfortunately I got this 702 error Dodgy .

I tried to find modded bios sp55068 moded by donovan6000 but all links are dead and donovan blog is closed.


Last bios on HP website is here - https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp55001-5...p55068.exe

Original card to this laptop was: Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1030 (model: 11230BNHMW)
Card which i want to mount is: Intel Centrino Advance-N 6200 (model: 622ANHMW)


Can someone help me?

[REQUEST] Thinkpad Yoga 260 BIOS unlock

Hello all,
On eBay I bought a motherboard for my Thinkpad Yoga 260 (the old one died), but it turned out to be locked. I tried the trick with shorting pins 5 and 6 of the Winbond BIOS eeprom, but I never got it to work. I then reflashed the BIOS chip with the old, original image and with one I bought on the I'net. No luck. Tried shorting pins again, but it didn't work.
Now when booting, on screen I only get two small icons next to a lock icon plus 2 error messages:
    0271: real time clock error
    0183: Bad CRC of security settings in EFI variable.
I'm out of options. Does anyone have an idea?

Hi there!

I have a little problem. I bought very cheap, decent computer, but the local service center f**** up the logic board. They desoldered and rewrote the 2 eeproms on the motherboard. Saidly the real issue was a dead ntc battery (0.8v).

However this happend under the last owner of computer. 

I tried to download a bios from samsung website, but only an utility found, which can not download roms on different computer......

My second attempt was a link from this forum for s05pl. This was also a failure. It only includes 1 rom file, which is larger then my eeproms.....

My guess is the last 2 character of product number stands for the keyboard layout, so internaly should be identical?

IF anybody can upload dumps for me would be really great.

I've posted here before, and I still have the modded files BDMaster gave me a while ago, but flashing them with an SPI flash programmer that I got recently does nothing. So I was wondering if anyone could mod the BIOS dump (.bin) that I read from the chip to unlock advanced menus. Laptop model is Toshiba C55-A5285. Thank you.

Hello guys ,


Yesterday i  bought a cpu I7 720qm  to try to upgrade my laptop from i3-m380, i installed the cpu in soket , tried to turn it on , but when i press power button its start for 1 sec and then go off , no lcd no fan. i made the camil bios upgrade but make the same.  can someone help me to fix it?
the gpu is nvidia gt 540m.

I am almoast crazy about it. I need to install WIN 7 (now its impossible, by USB, modded USB, ODD etc...) because in WIN 10 the graphics card is not working (NVIDIA), CPU-G is ok, but its weak Intel...

Hello, I need an unlock for my HP Notebook 17-by1053dx, which has an Insyde F.47 BIOS. I'm trying to convert more dedicated vram, but as you can see I don't have any advanced options in my BIOS.

Dell Vostro 3360

I have 5 Dell Vostro 3360 laptops that I can get into the bios, but they are locked from changing around the boot order. It asks for a password, I put one in 3 x thinking it would give me an error codes I could use on the password bios site, but its not giving me any codes. Does anyone know how to unlock these?

Ok, So here is what I got... working on! 

Lenovo IdeaPad Z560 Specifications:
  • 15.6-inch 720p (1366 x 768) glossy panel with LED backlighting
  • Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
  • Intel Core i3-350M dual-core processor (2.26 Ghz, 3 MB Cache)
  • Integrated Intel HD graphics
  • 3GB DDR3 dual-channel RAM (1GB + 2GB)
  • 500GB 5400RPM Western Digital hard drive (WD5000BEVT)
  • Broadcom 802.11n Wireless LAN, Bluetooth
I'm not without having some research, however... I'm not finding that a substantial improvement can be made ?

I have InsydeH20 rev. 5.0 BIOS.
I read online that to unlock the advanced settings you need to press a combination of keys while in the BIOS, 
I think I have tried them all (ex: Fn + Tab or Key A etc ...).  
None of these combinations unlock advanced settings!  
Then I read online that HP locks the advanced settings for security reasons.  
Is there anyone who can help me?

Hello,

I'm completely new on this forum. Recently I bought Lenovo Yoga 730-15IWL with broken motherboard. I bought new motherboard on Aliexpress and installed it. Everything is working fine but when I'm entering BIOS the following fields: "Product Name", "Serial", "MTM" and "Preinstalled OS license" are empty or INVALID. I wonder if by unlocking advanced options in BIOS I will be able to set those values.

Gentelmen, please help me with that.

[REQUEST] HP 250 G5 (W4M72EA) Insyde F.48 Unlocked BIOS

Good morning.
I am new to the bios modding community, and I would like to request an unlocked Insyde F.48 bios for the HP 250 G5 laptop.
I need to unlock advanced settings on this BIOS because I have to change the main graphics card from the integrated to the external graphics card (I've installed an Nvidia GT 1030 with an EXP GDC)

Hi, I need help with bios mod for my laptop, my main concern is undervolting for cpu and gpu on bios, but if its possible i'll like to mod gpu clock and fan curve too.

I cannot play any games without undervolting and disabling BD PROCHOT in ThrottleStop because the cpu clock dropss to 400MHz suddently.
