Hello,

I'm new here. Can someone help me to get unlocked the BIOS settings on my Asus EeePC 1001PXD and Acer Aspire One D255 ?

My children would be happy if both netbooks would run better.

For our Acer Aspire One D270 we found a unlock bios. Now I can set the graphics card to 64MB.

For those who are still searching, in the appendix.

msi h81m e33 unlock/mod to allow overclock on non K CPU

Hello. I need some help. I want to know if it's possible to do a BIOS mod on a msi h81m e33 to see if it could allow a bit more of OC on non K CPU's. i5 4590 would be the one in this case. I am curious if it's possible, I've seen benchmakrs with this processor at 4.00 GHz or more. How is that even possible? At the moment, it won't go past the Turbo Boost speed of 3,70 GHz. I can lock it to that, but I want to know if more speed can be gained. I'd be happy with 4,00 GHz or a bit more.

I've read that Intel banned OC for non-K CPU's a long time ago and I guess newer stock BIOS for mobos also locked this, due to legal reasons I suppose.
So can this BIOS be modded to allow more freedom and control of the CPU?

How could I do it myself? Or does anyobody have an already modded BIOS?

[Request] BIOS unlock for Sager NP7871

Hi.

Anyone know where I can get a well modded BIOS for a Sager NP7871? It's got an Aptio bios of some sort.

I ordered from Xotic PC thinking they were partnered with Prema, but apparently this doesn't come with the Prema BIOS.

If there are no BIOSes readily available, could someone point me in the right direction?

Hello friends,

I need to unlock the BIOS for the TravelMate P459-G2-M if is possible.
I have been attached bios dump files, there is a problem with my keyboard and even i have numpad when is numlock on numpad is moving to heyboard so i get numpad working but is on letters as well and I just wander if can be fixed!!!! to tap letters with numlock on I have to keep pressed Fn and is quite annoing.

are there reasons to mod a BIOS you read from your own flash vs, modifying a BIOS bin you got from the vendor's website?

I'm about to unlock bios but, before I actually do it, I would like to understand why one would use one over another for the source bin.

Does anyone have a bios for this or know where i can find the tools for this?  I have looked at previous post first, but any links to tools are now dead.  Can anyone help please?

The pc originally came with FREEDOS so there is no existing markers.

Wrong BIOS on the Mainboard?

Good Morning everyone,

I bought a MSI Z87-g45 Mainboard on ebay and tried to install my i7-4770K.
And got nothing, black screen. Just the fans are running on 100%.

At next bought a old intel Celeron G1820 and installed it on my mainboard and it worked.
After installing win10 I tried to figure out which BIOS version is installed.
Now the strange thing:
CPU-Z tells that I have a MSI Z87-G43 mainboard
and
the BIOS version is V29.1.... from 2012.

I figured out that I bought a OEM board, but the seller doesn’t answer my mails so I cant check the OEM.

Is it possible to flash a newer BIOS? I already tried to update a BIOS version MSI Z87-G43 and MSI Z87-G45. On both i got the same error.

The SETUP Data Map is diffrent between system BIOS and boot BIOS.
if select to boot, the system would be fail to reboot!!!

AMIBCP 4.53 ERROR

I'm loading a BIOS from an HP Z820

When I load it I get this error
"ROM image contains invalid packages. Setup tab and BIOS String tab will not be shown."

Any ideas on how to get around this.

This happens even with the .bin downloaded from their website.  if I try a 5.X AMBCP it tells me it's not an at ATPIO V so i am fairly sure its ATPOI IV

Hi,

Samsungs BIOSUpdate.exe doesn't work for me - it shows "cannot download" no matter what I do. I managed to update my BIOS to 13XK revision (with the files available on this forum - thank you) but I was wondering if there is any newer one. 

Please let me know if you have any info on that topic. Cheers, Matt

Hi, i have a lenovo m73 tiny model 10AY, want to patch the whitelist.
But i think it'd be more educational to learn how to patch it, rather than simply request it.
The bios can be downloaded here:

It has two large files that i suspect are the bios:

IMAGEFH.rom (7mb)
FHCT36A.bin (131kb)

Inside the rom file, there are plenty of subsections starting with 'MZ' which i assume are executable files? I'm not sure what to make of them.

I searched for the boot error text 'Error 1802: Unauthorized network card is plugged in' as well as sub-strings of that text, but couldn't find it (both in ascii and utf-16). So i'm kinda stuck.

I believe one of the whitelisted cards is: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B2&SUBSYS_42628086&REV_73

Hello everyone! Recently, I bought a processor and a motherboard and gave me the next error.
