[Request] 7th Gen Support for Fujitsu D3410-B11

Hi,
I had a great deal on a Fujitsu D3410-B11, and I have a Pentium G4560 lying around.
Sadly the D3410-B11 doesn't support 7th Gen Chips, but the D3410-B2 does.
Optically there are literally no differences and both use the B150 chipset.
This is the newest BIOS available for the B11. None of them include Kaby Lake microcode.
And this is the newest one for the B2, it supports 7th Gen Chips.
I would think that the B2 Bios should work on the B11, if there aren't any other Chips that are different.
Trying to Flash without modding results in an error.
I really have no experience in modding Bioses, sadly.

Hi,

Based on my reading, this computer needs a SPI Programmer and SOC8 clip to reprogram the bios.

Those are ordered and will be delivered in time (ordered from a supplier in china).

I took apart the laptop, and I see two potential chips that are the for the BIOS.

1. 25L3208E
2. 25L6406E

They're both pretty close to each other. Which is the one for the BIOS?

I can then dump it and upload for a patch. I don't want to dump the wrong one. I took a picture of the two chips here:

Hi everyone!

Sorry, this is my first post here but I had searched for it extensively everywhere so I'm sure it's not available online.
I had created this account after months of trying EVERYTHING except modding the BIOS.

Basically, my GPU has been power throttling lately in every scenario (drops to 135mhz random spikes). I have tried extracting the BIOS of my Asus ROG G771JW to get the vBIOS out and I was successful in incrasing the TDP using Maxwell BIOS Tweaker but couldn't repackage the whole thing without the risk of corrupting the file (using Phoenix Tools) and bricking the device (I have to mention that my laptop is bare-bones right now and the laptop's keyboard isn't working anymore so I turn it on by removing the battery, power cable and CMOS battery to even get it to turn on so in case of a brick I won't be able to recover it using Fn+B).

Can anyone be so kind as to increase the TDP of my GTX960m 4096MB to something a bit higher?

My BIOS can be found here (couldn't attach it in the post because of the 2MB limit) if needed I can provide you with my vBIOS as well. My card is also locked so I can't do anything using MSI Afterburner so if someone can unlock it and the CPU in BIOS that would be perfect!

Bois mod needed for upgrading cpu to t9300 ES for Toshiba Satellite L200

Hello, Gurus and Masters 

I have an old laptop Toshiba Satellite L205 (L200 series), bios version 2.1 . With intel chipset GL960. cpu t2330(meron).
When I upgrade cpu to t9300 ES and x9000 ES, the screen is in black all the time. cup fan shut down after running a short while.
It seems bios doesn't contain the correct microcode for the cpus. I am looking forward to receive a newer bios from  manufacture or 
a moded bios include microcode i need.  The Toshiba bios is not available now. I attach a backup bios from my loptop. somehow it's 
not readable to my bios editor. It's a pheonix bios.

Hi guys, I'm trying to unlock all hidden settings for BIOS version 1.13, the other requests are for lower version so help would be appreciated. Also I want to add NVMe Support for the m.2-Slot, can somebody point me in the right direction? I already read about adding UEFI modules to the Bios, but with this kind of Bios it seems rather hard.

Toshiba Satellite L850-1L8 BIOS bricked, need key recovery flash startup combination

Hi,

So I was building a hackintosh of my Toshiba Satellite L850. Noticed I needed to change something in the bios so I downloaded Donovans (on this forum) really nice and well unlocked bios mod of the newest available bios version which is 6.80.  Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Bios is: InsydeH2O rev 3.7

Cause
I got stingy and went in the modded well flashed bios a couple of days later and tweaked the system a bit further. This time I decided to turn of some unharmfull options (VT-d, etc) but also to turn on internal graphics card and this is where I messed up. I should've Googled first if that was a wise thing because will doing that I also max'd the maximum dedicated RAM for the internal graphics card (1024 MB) and now the system does not boot. No screen, no normal fan speed, 1 LED on, the fan speed in some kind of extremely low survival mode and restarting after a couple of minutes and continues this process. No beep sounds, no screen on, not even a sightliest sign or response that it's still knowing what the machine itself is doing. 

Recovery Attempts
  1. - Bios jumper (jrst2501) reset without succes 
  2. - Connecting external screen without succes
  3. - Used Andy Bios recovery tool to get the recovery filename. It came back that I had to rename it to FX64.f? That seemed odd with that questionmark as a file extension name (had to use Linux to change the filename with a questionmark as extention). However I tried both ways. Copied the single .fd/.f? file to a FAT formatted USB. Tried to flash it with FN + B and a couple of other combinations like FN + ESC. Even tried Windowskey + ESC. Nothing worked, no responses. Tried the same with the recovery filename as FX64.fd. without succes
Tried all these recovery options with the battery taken out, charger taken out, SSD, Memory taken out, CMD taken out and mixed it up all kinds of ways to see if it would do something different but nothing changed.  Not a single flash on the USB that gives me the sign of being atleast touched seen or known it's plugged in.

I don't know what I am doing wrong. Either I have the wrong key combinations to flash, or the machine is really fully bricked. 

Been Googling for days now and it seems that almost everyone can escape this problem once ended up with but only the Toshiba's of the L850 series same to be impossible or atleast, no one has manage to rescue their machine. I could buy a new PLC on AliXpress for around 30 to 80 euro's max but I rather invest that in a new machine if I'm really F*cked.  Sad Confused

Does anybody have a gold solution for me? I'd be even more happy! Smile 

Ps. Whish I just left the BIOS since I had OSX High Sierra and Windows 7 Pro dual boot running.

Sony Vaio VPCEB3E4E problems after motherboard change

Hi,

I have a Sony Vaio VPCEB3E4E and I've changed Motherboard with a VPCEA. It's same MB, but one différence : Keyboard have no numpad on VPCEA but mine, yes.
So, when I put numlock on, keys 890uiojkl is numpad, and numpad has no action.

Another problem is the battery, not detected by Windows, and led is flashing.

There is also the fan speed, it's 100% all the time. 

I have backup bios R1170Y8, and test to unlock the feature, but with no success. 

Can you help me please ?

hello, I'm new here, I would like someone to modify a bios, is a bios HP (My computer is OMEN by HP Desktop PC - 880-070ns) and I have not seen section where to put it, if any moderator could help me. The bios would be "ROM SSID 8308" and I need it basically because I want to see all the settings that are blocked or hidden, especially related to fans and CPU, I can not even do anything with speedfan ... I'm a gamer and I need to make a curve to the processor with the fan ... thank you very much

Hey,

So I have been struggling trying to find the original BIOS image from HP or Phoenix Technologies. I have tried to use the Universal BIOS Backup Toolkit but it says "can not identify BIOS!" so I cannot upload any files. If anyone has the original or modified version, it would be much appreciated. I was wondering if, by some miracle, the 6930p BIOS had some hidden option to power up the machine when the AC adapter gets connected.

The latest version (which is on the laptop too) can be found here:

Which SPI programmer will work?

Hi there!
I own an Acer A717-72G laptop with 8750h CPU.

I asked for help regarding BIOS unlock and dudu was kind enough to help.
However there is a problem.

I have acces to TL866 SPI programmer, however the BIOS is stored on a xmc qh128ahig chip and the programmer's software does not support this chip. "Xmc" as manufacturer is completely missing from the list and typing in the chip in the search bar turns up nothing.

Due to the simmilarities regarding reading it was possible to make a dump selecting a simmilar chip (dont remember 
which one) however writing is not possible and gives error with those same settings.
Tried Minipro v6.60 and 6.82 and neither has "xmc" chips.

Any idea how can the modded BIOS be written back ?

Haier Y11b core M 5y10c , 2nd msata slot not working

Dear forum readers,
I have thia 2-in-1 laptop Haier Y11b, with cpu core M 5y10c. It has got 2 msata slots but the 2nd one is not showing/working.
I assume it is locked in bios and that this bios has very limited options.
It is American Megatrends 5.011 bios.

How may I enable that 2nd slot?
I assume the ssd slot is powering because i can feel a little bit heat on the ssd after booting.
