[REQUEST] Lenovo Edge Flex 2: Bios mod unlock hidden pages

Hi, 
I`ve been looking on this forum for quite a while now in case my Lenovo Flex Edge 15 (80K9000YUS version) would find a bios that its completely unlocked.
Model: Lenovo Edge Flex 2
Version US: 80K9000YUS
i7 5500U Broadwell

Original bios ( https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mob...cn61ww.exe )is an exe file i was able to extract a .Cap from it but i`d rather not brick my laptop by putting bits or taking where im not supposed to. If someone can please unlock the hidden pages for me i would greatly apreciate it.

Please i need to unlock the tdp limiter to put a FX 8350 processor on a M5A78L-M LX (not the M5A78L-M LX3 that i saw on this thread https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-S...A78L-M-LX3) i tried to put the mod on my friend's motherboard but it doesnt work, i need to put that cpu and recognize it to underclock to 3.2 ghz, plz i bought that processor on amazon before i check my friend's motherboard compatibility.

im attaching the mod im trying to put on my motherboard and the original bios, please help me because i highly recommend that cpu to my friend and i have not enough money to send it back and buy a fx 8320e, i live in peru so its kinda expensive to pay for 2 aditional shipping cost.

please, please help me i really have no more options but give him my own pc Sad

Hi Members,

I have joined today after searching all over for a solution for a recent purchase.

I bought a used HP ProBook 450 G2 locked BIOS. I had read a lot of posts and watched YouTube videos with several solutions but the solutions appear to work on older model HP ProBook laptops and not on this one.

When I switch on I see the black screen.
 I cannot boot to the hard drive whatsover, as the bios is locked.

The other attached pics show all that I can access.

Any help on how I can reset or remove the bios password so as to boot normally.

I want to rewrite EEPROM from my Intel card 

From my new card that should be detect as my old card 
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B1&SUBSYS_40708086&REV_BB    #AC-Module - Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260
This is my old card:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0085&SUBSYS_13118086&REV_34 #Original Module - intel centrino advanced-n 6205

I want to do this to bypass my whitelist. In windows u can force to use another driver so it should be no problem. 

But I don't know how to change and what to change.

Hi! I have been meaning to update my BIOS since what I have now doesn't have overclocking tools. I was following the instructions on the BIOS Update page but then it required to copy a BIOS update image to the flash disk. I have no idea where to get it so to be sure I'm seeking for help here. I have this:

Asrock X58 SuperComputer anti-spectre microcode and vt-d upgrade

Greetings.
The latest BIOS upgrade for this motherboard is from 2010/11/30, version 3.40, you can find it here http://asrock.pc.cdn.bitgravity.com/BIOS...40)ROM.zip or here http://ftp.asrock.cn/BIOS/1366/X58%20Sup...40)ROM.zip (both instant flash version).
I want to update cpu microcode for spectre protection, also I need to upgrade the vt-d for fixing the compatibility issue with Windows 10 1803 x64 that won't boot if vt-d is on.
I read around (here, latest reply of the first page: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...6165636528) that the Asus Sabertooth X58 BIOS 1402 has "Improve VT-d compatibility issue", so I wanted to transfer this fix, since they have the same chipset.

HP Pavilion DV7T-4000 Whitelist Removal (SP55299)

Hi I need the whitelist removed for SP55299.

I have tried to use the one from the on-site repository by Camiloml but it results in a black screen on the system and I have to go through HP BIOS Crisis Recovery to make the system functional again.

I have had the same experience on two other DV7's (I run a computer repair business) that use SP55299 so I think the sp55299_NWL_ByCamiloml.exe in the repository is no good.

Please help! This system has a bad wireless card and I need to upgrade it but cannot without the whitelist removed.

Ivy-Bridge Support for Lenovo H61 Mainboard

Hi,

I have issues with installing a i5 3570 on my H61-Mainboard. The originally installed CPU was a Sandybridge Pentium G840. If I put in the i5 and power on the fans starts spining but I neither hear POST nor there appears something on the screen. I tried to implement the Microcode for Ivybridge, but I have the same result. Maybe an old Intel ME Version is the matter?

The Board is a IH61M Mainboard by Lenovo in the VER 1.0. It has a 4mb Bioschip "9QKT23A4MB"

IPIBL-LB Motherboard v5.43 HP/Dell

Can someone post a link for the IPIBL-LB Motherboard v5.43 HP/Dell SLIC for a dell windows XP recovery CD i have on hand? When I go to the HP website it downloads a sp46442.exe and not a BIOS file for the Motherboard BIOS update... Would a HP Windows XP Pro CD work anyways with a newer HP Pavilion a6652f? I'm guessing it won't work because it is a newer one.

Hello i have a Lenovo b590 with bios Version H1ET69WW (1.12 ) Date 15/11/2012 . I am asking verry polite if someone have the latest bios version , and also i want to buy a new CPU . Right now i have Intel Core i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz and i would like to know if someone did managed to add an i7 CPU on his laptop ( b590 ) . Any info can help me upgrading my laptop . lenovo b50-50 bios file name

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to recover a corrupted bios on my laptop and since I hadn't had any luck in over a week of trying everything the google threw at me maybe you guys can help?

So from the beginning,
Lanovo G50-50
80S2000DUK
Model 80S2

Downloaded the bios bin file (not from lenovo website cause it's not there - correct me if I'm wrong). File I got is called "Lenovo CG410CG510 NM-A681 Rev 1.0.bin" which matches the numbers etched on the motherboard of the laptop.

I have tried:
https://www.bios-mods.com/bios-recovery/...-recovery/ - unfortunately I do not know what to change the file name to - it says it's explained in paragraph 3 but I really can't wrap my head around the Andy P’s SLIC tool:|. I've attached screenshot .

Could anyone point me in the right direction here please?

I have also tried this method:

Basically what happens when I press and hold fn+r and press the power button the orange led on the laptop starts flashing then the USB flashes few times at which point I let go of the FN+r. LED on the laptop then switched to white and laptop powers down(Normally when switched on the laptop powers on and then imminently powers down. SO there is definitely a change with FN+r being held - i.e. led flashes in orange and laptop stays powered on for longer.

To me it seems like it tries to load from USB but it's not finding what its looking for so it continues normal boot and shuts down
I have tried with and without the battery plugged in. I have tried different USB's and different USB ports.

So I'm left with the assumption that either the file name is wrong or maybe I have the wrong .bin file after all(maybe some of you guys has a required bin file by any chance?). 

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

this isnt really a request, but Id like to share the AMI BIOS of a "Medical Ultrasonic Device" by GE Healthcare.

The BIOS itself got modified by the german company "congatec", to work with the strange mainbaords inside of this device.
