GA-945GCM-S2 Rev.3.9 the e7500 Processor in Bios isn't defined, but works. Frequency 266*6=1.6ghz. Help with Bios, it can is possible to correct it? There is no official support of this processor there.

First of all, sorry for my English.

I really appreciate your works here in this site.
You all helping people with low budget like me to make their computer decent again.

I have a very old  rare OEM motherboard LGA 775 with brand named "AdVance".
I searched everywhere but can't get any info about this 'AdVance" manufacturer.


Can somebody help me to unlock and update the Bios?
I need overclocking utility and AHCI mode to be enabled.

Hello,

I would unlock this bios. I have tried to do it myself doing the following:

- Set "ACCESS/USE" to "USER" in all menus using AMIBCP 4.53

- Examined the BIOS in UEFITool and found that; there is a DXE module named OemSetupPage and one named Setup

- The module called OemSetupPage, when extracted and examined with "Universal IFR Extrator", is shown to be the BIOS menu I can see when entering the BIOS. 

- The module called Setup is the one containing all the options I would like to access, in particular MXM menu and Intel IGP settings.

- I tried to simply remove OemSetupPage to see if it defaulted to Setup and flash the BIOS (kinda scary flash I admit) this resulted in a completely blank BIOS menu, so I flashed back to the original again.

At this point I'm stumped, I can't seem to alter the BIOS menu structure or find out why the hidden menus can't be included.

Couple of questions.

NVFLASH cannot read GTX 1050 BIOS on this laptop, is it stored within main BIOS? If so, can it be updated?

Are there any hidden options in this BIOS? Maybe add BCLK, or Intel XTU features like Turbo overclocking?

Max 4-core turbo for i5 7300HQ is 3.1GHz, but I got 3 cores to 3.5Ghz with Throttlestop and disable turbo and 1 core in BIOS...but 4-core is always 3.1Ghz...

In this BIOS, is it only i5 7300HQ microcodes, or are there others? If so, what others are there?

ROM file is 16.00 MB, that is very large. Why is it so big?
