[REQUEST] BIOS unlock and whitelist removing for HP Envy 15-j001sg

Hi all,

I would like to have my Insyde H20 F.68 bootloader of my HP Envy 15-j001sg unlocked and the whitelisting removed to run an eGPU.

Could anyone do this for my BIOS?
I would be very glad Shy

ASUS P6T SE 0908 SLI + SLIC 2.1 mod

Hi there!

Recently my friend asked me to look on SLI support on this mobo (ASUS P6T SE BIOS version 0908).
Made some research and then patched it, added SLI support code to module 10h DSDT and also added ASUS SLIC 2.1

Also made a little different custom Fullscreen and AmericanMegatrends logos just for fun (that ones are inside of patched BIOS already) Smile

RAID ROMs and CPU uCode modules are original and untouched/not updated.

It was flashed via EZFlash from flashdrive.
Friend checked that mod for a few days and confirmed it working and SLI support was unlocked and usable.

Content of archive: modded BIOS and corresponding certificate for use of embedded SLIC.

Backup Phoneix BIOS without having a BIOS file?

I have an eMachines T6540 with C51PVGM-M motherboard. eMachines/Gateway never released a BIOS update for this model. WinPhlash refuses to create a backup without having a compatible BIOS file. It won't allow me to access advanced settings.

The Universal BIOS Backup tool does not make a backup that WinPhlash accepts, claims it has Corrupted interface descriptors and Part table signature not found in the Interface. Error code -161

How can I make a good backup to mod and flash back to the board?

Wanting to know if the bios found on this link can be modified to add overclocking function. The person who posted said bios noted that all features were unlocked, but as far as I can tell there is no difference between this bios he posted and the original, other then that during boot up it states who modified the bios.

Hi Friend!
I want to replace wwan card to my HP 8460p but  a whitelist doesn't support. Please help!

Here is description:
-Manufacturer: HP Elitebook 8460p
There are two versions of the fullflash bios for it:
1. sp60365_F_29_(4_Jan_2013) - HP_8460p_bin.F29
2. sp79709_F_65_(12_apr_2017) - HP_8460p_bin.F65
These dumps can send You!

wwan card old: HP un2430 - VID_03F0 & PID_371D
It should be replaced with:
wwan new card: Sierra MC7304 - VID_1199 & PID_68C0
Attempts to replace the VID and PID on the Sierra MC7304 itself and driver modification failed! Works very crookedly! Say - do not works!

Help will replace the identifiers F_65 or the F_29 version of the BIOS!
Very much I ask !!!!

Hi, guys! As stated in the title, I was wondering if it's possible to work around CPU firmware so we can unlock its multipler. Let's take Q9650 and x3380 as an example, both share the same chip same technical specifications except xeon has 9.5 while C2Q got 9.The point is can we turn Q9650 into x3380?

Alienware 14 (2013) Whitelist Bios Mod Request

Hello, 

I'm pretty new to this stuff so please pardon my ignorance. I'm interested in hooking up an egpu to my Alienware 14 (2013) laptop through its mini-pcie port. Problem is there is whitelisting in the bios that will prevent it from booting once there is unrecognized hardware, so I'm hoping that by requesting for an unlocked Bios it will remove the whitelisting, is this possible?

Recovery on Biostar N68S+ ?

I did a SLIC 2.1 mod on the BIOS for a Biostar N68S+ (not the N68S, very different board). Had to dig out a floppy drive and disk to update it. I fully formatted the disk twice, no errors.

I used the built in BIOS updater and when it was done writing the USB keyboard didn't work so I coudn't hit Enter to accept Y to reset. So I used the power button.

Now it's dead. Sad Black screen. Fans run and that's all. I used the CMOS clear jumper and have removed the battery for a while. No change.

Dos this have a boot block recovery or am I going to have to send the chip off to someone to have it programmed? It's a little 8 pin DIP in a socket. Cute bit of ancient tech sitting on this modern motherboard.

Biostar N68S+ SLIC 2.1

Biostar N68S+ (Please note the +, different board from the N68S!) Never have had an OS running on it so I don't have any other information.

Board is currently bricked due to it disabling USB keyboard during BIOS update using its built in update utility. Couldn't hit Enter on the final Y prompt to reset after the write was done. So I held the power button until it turned off. First fail doing my own SLIC 2.1 mods. Have done several without a problem.

If I have to send the chip off to get it fixed, may as well have a SLIC 2.1 BIOS file ready. Wink

Hp Proliant BIOS upgrade

Hi
I have a Proliant G7 dl120 server which has a LGA1155 socket. The BIOS changelog makes no mention of a BIOS update to support 3rd generation CPUs. I currently have a E3 1220 xeon and I am planning to upgrade it.. V2 Xeons offer a fairly significant difference in performance. 
The chipset is C204 and it does support 3rd generation. I have no information on the company that made the BIOS unless it was HP themselves.
The motherboard has a backup BIOS so there is "less" risk of me bricking my motherboard entirely. 
Could anyone update the microcode to the BIOS? or point me in the right direction to do it myself?

the G8 proliant series of servers support 3rd gen (V2 xeons) and the BIOS for the closest equivalent G8 version of mine is found here; (not sure how relvant it is)

Hello, I've been looking for ages for the correct whitelist removed bios but without success for my father's HP pavilion dv6-2113sa. Camilomil only has sp47530(F.13) but is not compatible with my laptop. What I provide is the super-rare sp48896(F.15) and I would politely ask if someone can remove the whitelist and, if possible unlock all options. Thank you so much.
